Creative sandwich concepts and pretty quality ingredients. I love that I can choose from 3…read moredifferent types of breads. The garlic sauce is also very good. However, I have to give 3 stars for the overall execution of my meal. I had a half of a Hammer sandwich which was about $8. It's ham, soppressata, cheese, lettuce, tomato, banana peppers, dijon, vinegar, oil, garlic sauce. Unfortunately, I felt that my sandwich came with skimpy toppings. I got a pretty thinly stacked layer of ham and 2 little ovals of soppressata. The cheese was barely present. I also would have loved more tomato. I got a good amount of lettuce and banana peppers, though! Unfortunately, I just couldn't taste the meat and cheese toppings super well due to their being not much of them on the sandwich. The flavor of all the other ingredients were good, though. My friend got the Scramwich on Foccacia for $14. Looking at it, I could also tell it had not much proscuitto. Upon further inspection opening one of the halves of the sandwich... it was definitely only a few little smaller pieces of proscuitto. (The other toppings were on the other piece of bread, don't worry, those were fine) Sorry for the ugly photo - hard to really capture it without dissecting the thing. I also just noticed while looking at the photo again that one of the pieces of arugula also had black spots on it... Definitely not very fresh. My friend still enjoyed the foccacia, sundried tomatoes, and other toppings, but also felt there wasn't enough proscuitto. For the price, I would hope for a sufficient amount of meat. Heard a lot of hype about Quisty's and I see great potential in their quality and concepts! With better execution I'd definitely consider coming back. It's just hard to justify paying as much as we did for sandwiches that were skimpy on arguably one of the most important toppings!

The restaurant wasn't busy, so we weren't worried about making our movie in time. I ordered a small French Dip because I wanted to leave room for popcorn at the movies. The cashier asked if it was ok if the sandwich didn't come with the au jus because they ran out. Um no, that's not ok. If there's no au jus, it's not a French Dip, it's just a sandwich, so I ordered beef and cheddar instead. It was the middle of the afternoon, so I have no idea how they ran out of the au jus, but whatevs. My husband ordered a medium sandwich, so we got our drinks and sat down. I also got a small bag of chips too, so I slowly munched on those while waiting for our sandwiches. I finished my chips and we waited. And waited. And waited. Finally, 30 minutes after ordering, our sandwiches arrived. My husband mentioned how long it took and the girl who brought our order out said "oh sorry, there's only two of us". Apparently she thought we were both blind or couldn't count because we could clearly see there was a cashier plus 3 people prepping and cooking. We also saw another employee appear out of the back and leave while we were eating. The wait time *might* not have been bad had the food been worth the wait but wow, what a disappointment. I've never seen such a small sub. I ordered a small, assuming it wouldn't be huge, but for almost $9, it was tiny. It was literally about the size of my palm and I have small hands. My husband's medium was also small and overpriced. Even the pickle spears were small and sad. We had assumed for the prices, their sandwiches would be comparable to Jersey Mike's (which we love) and probably a step up from Subway, but no. I mean, the flavor was good but having more than 4 bites to eat would have been nice. We will not be returning to eat here. There are way better places to get subs at much better prices and you don't leave hungry. Also, because of the wait, we missed our movie time and had to change plans.

So after seeing people rave about it, I finally tried the Eegee's breakfast burrito…read more I had the Sonaran burrito. It has eggs, cheese, chorizo, jalapeños, Chipotle ranch, and salsa. I was both disappointed and pleasantly surprised by this burrito. I'll explain. First off, it's super weird when people say things like "authentic" and "high quality" when referring to places we know have corporate fast food. High quality items rarely exist. This burrito I've seen described as having "high quality" chorizo, and "authentic tortilla". Well, neither are true. The tortilla was average, nothing bad, but nothing great, it was warmed, but that's it. The chorizo was good, yes, but "high quality" is a stretch. I will say it is better than your average store bought chorizo and had a good flavor. But calling it high quality is egregiously off. I also saw people comment about how it was "big". It's not. It's about averaged sized for the pricing. It's about the size of the Del Taco breakfast burritos(the large ones). It's also smaller than nearly every other burrito you can get in this city. Even if I say "for the price" the Del Taco breakfast burrito is half the price of this. Granted, it's not good, but to make it seem like you're getting this amazingly sized burrito here, feels like I was lied to. It's not to say it was small. But it certainly wasn't filled up. I got a couple layers of just tortilla in all my bites(you can see that in one of the photos). Which, considering it WASN'T an 'authentic' tortilla, I didn't like. Anyway, the positives. The ranch, jalapeños, and salsa together were a great flavor. They complimented each other well. I was very impressed with the flavor profile considering it was Eegee's. The chorizo had a good flavor, a bit smoky in the background and not too salty. It paired well with the sauces and cheese. The eggs were VERY fluffy. I could just do an egg and cheese burrito to be honest, and probably love that. Eggs were solid, considering they were liquid eggs(I'm pretty sure). I had cheese in almost every bite. It was put together well also. All in all, I'd give it a solid 7/10. I was mainly disappointed because people overhype EVERYTHING here, and I kinda knew that, but when putting that aside, it's a good burrito. Will it change your life? No. But it's a solid option if you have $10 bucks and not a lot of time. I will go so far as to say that this burrito is better tasting and put together than their sandwich options. Anyway, it's worth trying. NOTE: this is mostly about the breakfast option, I will post another review(when I go back) to talk about my overall experiences at this location.

What kind of drugs were the people who left good reviews taking, because I want to lose touch with reality like they did! Have any of these people ever eaten at fine restaurant or even a half way decent one? Or are they just that poor they will eat anything? This place should win a trophy for Tucson's worst dive bar. I can't believe we were victims of Facebook reviews saying how great this place is, It's terrible! First off the place is ABSOLUTELY filthy. Just look at the bar, there is dirt grime and heavens know what is wedged between semi grouted surfaces that your food and drinks sit on and the menu's were sticking from all the booze spilled on them and not wiped off. For a moment I thought the stringy sticky substance that was stuck to my hands was Spiderman's web as it lingered and stuck to my hands. I literally had to physically peel the menu off my hand and go wash my hands just from touching the nasty thing. All the glasses, shelves and bottles have at least 2 years worth of dust and filth on them. Then it happened, the burger I ordered was not only wrong but disgusting, what should have been a burger with green chiles and cheese was turned into one with uncooked bacon and the nastiest tasting guacamole. THEY COULDN"T EVEN GET THE ORDER RIGHT! I can name six places off the top of my head that has better food and cleaner surfaces and THE LEAST of these is what-a-burger of all places. I've been in a lot of dive bars the only one worse than this didn't sell food, probably unlawful for them as it was so bad.
