This guy is a fake- first he doesn't really has an office but a satellite office- came to his "office" to drop off a hard drive for recovery but apparently the receptionist told me that there is no office for "Eric" and I can leave my hard drive with them- he will come and pick it up later on Well- ok I decided to leave my hard drive- he called me after couple of days saying I have "bad heads" and they needed to be replaced and total price would be $1250, Ive started asking him some questions but he seemed to avoid answering some of the questions which made me think something is wrong here Picked up the hard drive and went to 2 different labs in the area- both places offered me to recover the data for less then $800 telling me that the hard drive doesn't need heads replacement. One of them told me that the place I went to is not a real recovery lab and he is using other labs in the area to recover data which made me wonder if he really knows what he's doing Bottom line- always shop around for pricing as data recovery is one of those businesses that's really hard to find a reliable and honest person- all 3 places I went to did not provide much info and were not willing to fully explain what exactly is wrong with the drive when trying to go to deeper details. read more

I purchased a cheaper external hard drive a few years ago that my dogs unfortunately swiped off the counter onto the ground causing the disk inside to crack :( I knew it would be a long shot that the item could get fixed due to that kind of technology not being developed yet, needless to say it did not get fixed. Disclosure: I did not have the recovery service performed, but my interactions with Erik were direct an honest. I had a 2TB external drive fall about a foot and a half onto a hardwood floor. The absolute best place to recover your computer data. My computer was dead out of the blue. Took out my hard drive and dropped it off and gave them my backup drive (optional) at their office. Although it's quite expensive (depending the severity of retrieving your old data), I got all my data back. It took about a week and almost $1K later.
