So much that I appreciate about More Than a Fix. First, they have a physical location with dedicated hours - so many other phone/computer repair businesses are by appointment only and/or mobile only. Second, they are extremely skilled at their craft, are very transparent about what can and can't be fixed, and accurately quote what a fix will cost. Plus they seem to have a plethora of parts in stock. My second "fix" was to replace the back of a green iPhone 11 Pro Max and they actually had a green back in stock so the repair only took a few hours! AND, they were the only shop I called that could fix the back of an iPhone 11. Shout out to Marce who took my repair, so friendly and professional. She left me feeling confident about the entire transaction (i.e., leaving my phone with them, that the iPhone would be fixed, and that I would only be charged what was quoted). Last, reliable. The short of it. Amazing shop! Fixed my expensive graphics card in no time. The long of it. First, I reached out to these guys late on a Sunday night not expecting to hear back until at least Monday morning at the soonest which would have been more than fine. Nope, James responded right away that night, man, hopefully this post doesn't put them on the spot to always respond late like that but most of the other repair shops I reached out to still haven't responded and it's late Monday Afternoon as of this writing. So in the morning I drove down to San Clemente with a graphics card that had these microscopic bent fan header pins that I messed up. I walked in and James took the card out of my hands and sat down. He estimated $20 dollars for the repair and went to work and fixed it right then and there. It was done in no time plus he answered a ton of my questions. He was so pro I made him double the price!
