Paid about $30 for half pound of brisket and an order of five wings. Maybe outside the price range for most "lunches" but they do have sandwiches in the $12-15 range. While I enjoyed the smoked wings...the brisket was a bit dry. Space and decor are great...very clean and well-maintained space. Large shared parking lot with the adjacent stores (Trader Joe's and Chipotle) Would like to return to try some other items.

The service was fast but the food lacked flavor for me. Don't bother with the Mac and cheese- no flavor and it's not even baked. The corn bread was dry. Slider bread should be warm.

Definitely far from disappointed and hungry after leaving this place. The starving sizes are enormous andI had plenty to go back to nibble on that night. My favorite was the brisket and a strong second was the beans. Yes!!! Those beans have some much tender meat in it, I need the recipe. I like how they used white beans instead of the traditional baked bean. I'm actually craving this place right now and if it were closer, I'd been there today. That should tell you that this place is a "got to" spot!

Stumbled on this place yesterday after I did some grocery shopping at the traders joes right next to it. I was EXTREMELY impressed to say the least. Service was outstanding, my server was Darius V. I came in by myself and was seated immediately and was given the option to sit in the main dining room or a slightly more secluded area in the back with some TVs. I sat in the back and was happy that they were playing the Monday night football game. Definitely a great place to watch a game with a group of friends. Since I was alone the my server recommended that I get the 1/3lb of brisket. This was the perfect amount of food and I also got it with a side of Mac n cheese. (My pictures don't do it much justice) But the brisket was tender and juicy. I've been searching for a good barbecue spot in New Jersey for a while. THIS WAS THE BEST BRISKET I HAVE HAD IN NEW JERSEY. Definitely check this place out, I'm going to be craving it all the time now. Super happy, and I will be coming back

    New menu!

Truly an outstanding experience since their rebranding/reopening! They have transformed their to-go BBQ into a beautiful rustic restaurant. Grace was our server; she was adorable, helpful, and couldn't be sweeter if she tried! :) They had classic BBQ from their old menu, and some cool additions featured below, such as salads, common American entrees, and desserts. We loved the fried pickles, Mac and cheese, brisket and pulled pork. Definitely give the place a try next time you're in the area; switch it up from Chipotle if that's what your go-to is!!

First time at the Q and it was everything we heard about! We were greeted immediately and loved our service from Katie. Juan was shadowing her since this is first job ever! She was extremely patient and so were we. We have all been there. Katie explained the menu and my husband, who thinks he is an Iron Chef , asked Juan the difficult questions to help learn. There was no one else in the restaurant, so this was a great teaching experience. What kind of cheese is on the steak sandwich? White or Yellow American? We all had a good time, and then we enjoyed our meal as the restaurant started to become busy. Great food and a great group of people! Good luck Katie in your future endeavors with your psychology degree, and you as well Juan in Lawrence High School! Had to tell Juan he was serving a school record breaker in track, that still holds to this day and told him to look at the trophy case in the halls of LHS. Thanks again Q! Whomever decorated for the holidays...props to you! You did a fantastic job! - My only suggestion would be to add tongs on the platter. Since the meat is so tender, it's difficult to transfer meat with a fork. The slice cuckes seemed very sugary which was not a pleasant taste with the sauces. All great sauces!

Lovely staff & Amazing food. We ordered 1 pound of brisket, sriracha-lime chicken wings, cole slaw, and chicken tenders with french fries. It all was delicious - they also have their bbq sauces on each table to pair your favorite with each bite. We had a great experience with the staff. We arrived a couple of minutes before the restaurant opened, with 2 toddlers. We sat outside waiting and a kind gentleman (I believe he was the manager) opened the door and asked if we wanted to wait inside. Even though the restaurant wasn't opened yet and the whole staff was not there, he took our order and there was one cook that started preparing our meal. He greeted us and the kids so nicely, it was very welcoming. He gave us extra onions and pickles as well (which are pickled amazingly). Great BBQ and wonderful experience.

I stopped here for Mother's day on a wim. We were hungry and the menu looked good. Everything and I mean EVERYTHING was absolutely delicious. The food was served hot and seasoned very well. The pictures don't do it justice. I highly recommend if you live around the area and haven't been or if you leave close to Princeton. YUM. YUM. YUM.

I ordered the Rose Ddeok-Bokki, described as a less spicy, more creamy variation of the classic Korean street dish made with rice cakes and fish cakes in a sweet and spicy chili reduction. When I brought the bag back to the lunch room, my coworker took one look at the container and said, "Wow, that's a big bowl." Then I opened it, and we both learned a hard truth about perspective. The bowl was half empty. Not metaphorically. Literally. Still, what was inside was so good that I found it difficult to stay disappointed. The sauce was rich, layered, and deeply flavorful. It hit all the right notes. Sweet, spicy, creamy, and just complex enough to make you stop between bites and think, whoever made this knows what they're doing. The rice cakes were perfectly chewy, the fish cakes soaked up that sauce like old friends. I'll admit, I regretted not ordering a side of rice to make the most of what sauce was left behind. That mistake will not be repeated. All in all, bb.q Chicken impressed me. The food was excellent, the drop off smooth, and the promise of even better things to come, namely their actual chicken, makes me look forward to a return visit. Next time, I'll bring rice and a healthier sense of optimism about bowl volume.

After looking more closely at the different options, this one seemed most aligned to my parents' diet, so we decided on this. I had also asked a colleague who lives in the area about this vs another BBQ place I've visited before in the area (Pork Chops BBQ), and he had good things to say about Flemington BBQ, so I decided on this. When we arrived my parents realized they'd visited this spot before and enjoyed it. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful, though some of the staff have more limited English. Still very hospitable, though, and it's a pretty good space. Lots of seating inside, casual look and feel. This place seemed similar to Clark BBQ, another place we've been to, and this one appears to have more room than the one in Clark (but prices are a bit higher). We ordered three platters - chicken, pork spare ribs, and grilled sardines - and all of the food was really good. All of the meats were nicely crisped and flavored, and the sides were good too (yellow rice, fries, veggies). I liked the food a lot, and I would go back for another meal! They also served bread to start the meal, which is a nice touch.

The owner was super friendly and outgoing. He provided lots of communication, and at the end of my time there asked how everything was. I ordered a chicken breast sandwich which came with fries. It was a delicious sandwich served on a fresh Portuguese roll. The accompanying fries were generously portioned and just the perfect amount of crispy. For future visits, I hope to explore deeper into the menu. My one critique on the place - today is a 100 degree day here in Flemington, and the restaurant's dining room was very warm. Not sure if their air conditioner broke, or they just don't have A/C.
