This was just okay. The espresso martini was fairly sweet and the drinks overall were pricey. It was disappointing that happy hour could only be taken advantage of if you were sitting at the bar - it was a really nice day so we wanted to sit outside. The flatbread was really lacking in flavor and was fairly small. The fries were solid but overall I was left wishing for more

Came for mothers day brunch which was a set menu of $50 pp. the food was just average, the frittata had no flavor and dont think it was worth the money

This is one of the most beautiful restaurants I have ever been to. It is so pretty inside very spacious. There's even a downstairs area for private parties and events. Inside there is a good amount of space even for bigger parties. Parking unfortunately is street parking so I did have to walk a bit. We were a party of two and I made a reservation for lunch at 12:30pm. It was super easy to make a reservation through Resy and we were seated immediately. For our food we got the house salad, the ricotta gnocchi with chicken, and the grilled chicken paillard. The house salad was AMAZING. It was so refreshing and bright I could have eaten that all by myself. The ricotta gnocchi was very fresh and seasonal. We were surprised to find out we could get chicken with it. The grilled chicken paillard was larger than expected. The chicken itself was a bit on the dry side and not as flavorful as I would've liked. I knew the chicken came with lettuce but I didn't realize it was a full salad on the chicken rather than just some greens on the side. We decided against a drink or dessert since we wanted to walk around Princeton and go to some other shops. Overall I really enjoyed this restaurant. I would 100% come back. This would be a great location for an engagement party or a baby shower. It's beautiful, big enough to host a party, and very elegant and classy. Would love to come back here for brunch or even dinner!

A great spot to meet up with friends and families to grab brunch. The staff was friendly and easy to work with. The brunch menu includes various cocktail, apps, and entree option. We tried various drinks; my favorite was the Spill The Tea-ni. Also tried the breakfast burger; cooked pretty well with great aioli dressing. Overall it was a good meal, we'd come back!

Party of three on a bustling Sunday! My family and I really enjoyed the homey ambiance, delicious food, and great customer service. Even with how busy it was, we never felt rushed and the staff stayed attentive and kind the entire time. The atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, like a place you could easily become a regular at. Every dish came out fresh and full of flavor, and you can tell care goes into the details. We left full, happy, and already talking about what we want to order next time. Definitely a spot we'll be coming back to.

A restaurant with a great vibe, service and overall good food. We met friends here for dinner. We had a reservation and the staff was very friendly. We enjoyed our evening in a great atmosphere. Although the food was good, considering the price point, we were not blown away. Note: We easily found parking near by. There is a paid parking deck and metered parking. If you go a block or two away, you can park for free on a residential street.

Will definitely be back! I went on a Saturday at 11am. I got the spot right out front but most spots were taken. There is a parking garage directly behind the building if needed. The staff here were friendly and service was excellent. The temperature inside was perfect. The ambience is casual but cute inside. They have large windows which bring the sun in nicely. There is a large outdoor patio which I can't wait to see open with warmer weather. The brunch menu has many great options. I got the brioche French toast with applewood bacon and everything was phenomenal! The French toast wasn't dry at all and very moist. It was topped with slightly cinnamon spiced apple chunks. The bacon was crispy and thick and tasty. The other person in my party got the meeting house plate and said it was delicious. The eggs were cooked to perfection. Our water glasses were filled promptly when they got even slightly low. The bathrooms are located downstairs along with a private party room. I would say by the time we left closer to 12:30 it was very busy in there. I have no complaints about today's visit and will surely be back!

I had in my walls from a slow leak, and they did a thorough inspection before starting the repair. Everything was handled carefully and professionally.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Princeton. About 10-12 minutes walk from the old town. Great service snd the food is always exceptional, they offer different menu for a season - summer, fall, winter and spring. I also love their cocktails. The place is also very esthetic. Visit the place for brunch, lunch or dinner.

Came here for a lunch with a large group! The server was attentive and accommodating and I tried the fig bellini -- it was not my first choice and I probably wouldn't get it again. The espresso martini was delicious! Overall ambiance is great and clean, and the food was above average. I felt my english muffin was a bit too rubbery to bite into at points but the flavor of the hollandaise was great.

We went here on a Wednesday evening for a moms night out, seated outside immediately (we made a reservation) the outdoor area is nice, the bar and inside looked really spacious and clean. They had a private party room downstairs too. Street parking with a possible fee or there's a garage near by. We shared appetizers and each got our own plates as well. Everything was delicious! Their olives (in 2 different appetizers we got) were uniquely good! A little spicy, a little sweet. Addicting almost. Drinks were yummy and pretty! Our server, Melanie was so sweet and fun and attentive. Definitely recommend!

Came here for dinner . Had a reservation . Found street parking that I used an app to pay but I believe there is a parking deck behind the restaurant. Staff greeted me right away and was seated .They have a cocktail list which seemed pretty cool but they were just ok for me. Had the mushroom soup which was ok , buttermilk biscuits eh . My friend loved the short ribs and ate very last drop . I had the flatiron steak which was good ! We also had the warm blueberry cobbler which was also good!

I've been here a few times now and at different times. First time was lunch at the bar. Burgers and cocktails were great we were really pleased with our meal, the services and the ambience. The next time we came for dinner and ate downstairs. The portions were a bit small for the price and just felt like it wasn't as good as lunch. Recently we came to a private party of about 50 people. The cheese board looked like they just dumped cubbed cheese out of bags onto the table. Presentation was surely lacking. Then they came out with pizzas. One at a time for 50 people. The chicken skewers looked like they cut a breast into 15 pieces and the burgers were so rare it was inedible. Only positive were the tasty cocktails and again good service. Most recently we came for happy hour. They have a really nice bar and a great menu. We got there right at 4 only to find out the kitchen didn't open until 4;30. When we asked the bar tender was annoyed and rudely answered. I'm sure he gets that question all of the time but why not just open it all at 4:30? The pea guacamole was good but everything else was just OK. If you come stick to the cocktails!

Which meat menu items use halal meat?

Does happy hour on Sundays include mimosas?

    No it does not

I checked the menu on the website and couldn't find anything, but is there any sort of dessert menu?

Yes, they do have a very limited dessert menu. Last time I was there I had a warm brownie with ice cream.

I ordered the Grilled Chicken Wrap, which was excellent, packed with chicken and very filling. I ended up taking half home because it was both generous and delicious. The side salad was also surprisingly good. We ended up returning later for happy hour, which takes place in the room to the right of the hostess stand. I highly recommend stopping by for drinks and bites if you're in the mood for classic cocktails and solid food. Happy hour is first come, first served and limited to the bar only (around 15 seats total). We arrived right when it started, and when we left about 40 minutes later, the bar was about half full. I'd definitely come back to try their dinner or to enjoy their happy hour again.

There was a young lady sitting in the corner in the phone telling us that there were no seats if we didn't have a reservation. Not the most polite but whatever. We went back to the bar and got a table. Why are bar tables always so sticky?! Anyhoo, we just missed the Happy Jour menu but it was only a $1-2 discount (except for the burger: $4). Service was pleasant and attentive. The food was overpriced for sitting in a bar. $30 for a bowl of ramen! (I don't know how it tastes but it's $17 across the street.) $22 for a burger and fries! $10 for two little bao with a single shrimp in each! Ok, that's not too bad since Bao is generally overpriced for some reason but I could have gotten more than one shrimp. Unfortunately, the price did not reflect the quality. My friend who got the ramen said it was in the bottom 25% he's ever had. My burger was pretty good but the bun was toasted and brittle and made an unnecessary mess. The fries--personal preference--I don't like skinny fries. As for the bao, the shrimp was too salty. I liked the finishing salt but the flavoring salt was too heavy. Also, it was drizzled with aioli and I couldn't pick it up and eat it like the sandwich it was. Overall, a disappointment. Mediocre food and an elevated price for no reason.

This time, I was in town for the graduation weekend, and visited the taproom on Memorial Day. The location, concept, and atmosphere of this bar is really cool. It is a bar, but there is table seating for smaller or larger groups in addition to the bar seating. All of the times I have visited this place have been in the evening after or during a large event for the university. Specifically this time, I was there the Monday evening before the graduation ceremony took place. There was only one bartender working this evening, and he was fulfilling orders for both the bar and the tables. I came to the bar a few times during the night, and it was backed up each time. I do not understand how there was only one person scheduled, as this was during a very busy weekend for the university. I do not have an expectation to be immediately waited on, but having to wait 20+ minutes each time you want a drink is slightly outrageous. Also, they did not honor who was there first and would simply serve whoever they felt like serving. This is not the first time I have had this bar experience here, either. I know things happen and it could have been a one-off, but being that I have experienced this on multiple visits, I suspect this is how it always is. The staff here is not very friendly, either. In a past visit, we were told we could not have a table unless we were ordering food, when the restaurant was not even full. I have never been wowed or impressed with any kind of service I have received here. I want to like this place for the character and charm, but the service is severely lacking. If you are going to stop, I would do so during the day to avoid long, unnecessary waiting.

Hardly any black beans, at least in mine, but two large shrimp (one of my favorite oxymorons!) and lots of shredded romaine, topped with about half a sliced avocado. Came with a creamy dressing on the side, no great shakes to me but my friend loved it. My husband had a whole grilled shrimp salad to himself, ignored the dressing, and really liked the salad. Our other friend had 2 appetizers as his meal - lobster bisque and a poke cup that was on the menu as a tuna martini, or something like that. Cute title.
