I found out about Morena's after reading glowing reviews on line. The salad, especially the dressing was fantastic. My husband ordered pasta and said it was ok. When we told the staff it was our first time here, they gave us some fresh breadsticks to try. Most of the diners raved about their soups - I will definitely go back this winter to try some!! read more

i was just recently looking at reviews and as i have been coming here for years...i thought i should write a quick review for morena's i have only had pizza and soup here...the zaza pizza and it is always so delish it is nice to be able to taste the flavors and since i love basil this pizza is one of the best i have had ....but i cannot say enough about the tortellini soup...always taste like it was just prepared by my nonna and believe me after living in italy ..i have had the best!! this soup is so fresh, tasty, hot... can't say enough...and the hot bread sticks they give you are a tasty treat to go along with the soup...try it - you will not be disappointed....the staff is warm and friendly ...hey their italian :) read more

Great find in Wakefield. Busy but prompt. Small pizza is a good size for two. Tried the Zazza style, a little too much garlic for my taste and would have preferred fresh basil rather than cooked into the mix, but very fresh ingredients, dough and cooked perfectly. Nice clean spot, and well trained staff keeping it all under control. The vending machine is strange. Will definitely return to try an entree, breadsticks looked and smelled heavenly. read more

Best sicilian pizza north of boston. zaza sauce is good, but its more along the lines of a bruschetta topping in case you are wondering. my wife is not a fan of zaza so we get the regular sauce. read more

Pizza is good, soup is good...salads are meh. There is a nice seafood dish with pasta that is great. The lady at the front counter, not good customer service. We looked in our bag and they gave us a meal that we didn't order. When we told her, since we had already paid she said "your mistake we're not taking it back we already made it"....so....we gave it away at the office. read more

Just moved to the area and tried the sicilian zazza pizza with peppers and pepperoni a week ago. IT WAS AWESOME! Great crust and sauce, very filling. The Sicilian easily fed four hungry adults and we had leftovers as well. We asked for breadsticks, as many reviews mentioned how great they are. Even though they only serve them in the restaurant when you sit, they threw some in. Very friendly :) We are ordering again tonight! read more

Pizza was good, not grand, out of this world. Service was ok. We ordered two pizzas with two Greek salads and it came to $50 and change. Steep for my wallet. Have not yet had a chance to sample the rest of the menu yet, but as soon as I do my rating may change. read more

Yum, Yum!!! I have been going her for over 15 years and have always eaten consistently fresh and appetizing food! The pizza is the best and even though we have moved out of Wakefield, now take my kids here for pizza! The pasta primavera is the best....fresh veggies and homeade pasta! In the winter, their homeade soups are super tasty and they have a great variety...the pasta fagioli is just like nanas! They also have a potato, pepper and egg sub that is mouth watering!!! read more

This place rocks. Probably the best pizza in Wakefield. Smells heavenly when you walk in. Has some charm. They do a great business, so great that they're not even open all the time so call ahead. The sicilian is huge and makes for great leftovers. CHick parm is wonderful. read more

Morena's has the best food in Wakefield. I've been going there for 20 years and would honestly cry if they ever closed. My menu faves are the zaza pizza (cheese, fresh tomato, garlic, and basil on a traditional or Sicilian crust). All of the soups are fabulous - And they add pasta to the soup to order so it's not mushy! And the marsala and the primavera. Yum, yum, yum. Wish they were open Sundays though. read more

Morena's is my favorite Italian Restaurant, and has been for years. They have authentic Italian dishes and amazing pizza. The Stracciatella Soup is a MUST have, every time, no questions asked. Pedro and the entire staff are beyond friendly and the food is amazing. read more

The Sicilian pizza is fantastic! There meatball sub is a good size but I mostly go for the Sicilian it calls to me!!

I just love this place. The only problem is I'm so addicted to some things I have not tried everything. My favorite is the sausage pepper and potato sub and sausage pizza. Their soups and salads all look wonderful and I will try them someday. read more

I have not had a thing that I havent loved!! My favorite is the chicken or eggplant parm. If you are looking for something on the lighter side, the soups and salads are great. Every meal comes with homemade breadsticks. If I could go here everyday, I would!!!! read more

Tried the gnocchi and meatball recently. Not impressed...meatball was not very good and sauce was terrible- had very little flavor and was just unappetizing. Gnocchi was cooked well so I suppose that is a positive. Overall not impressed at all. read more
