Their team did a great job with both rooms and the price was reasonable. They even did a lot of extra little jobs for me for no extra cost, like replacing some of our old outlets with modern outlets with USB-C ports, and helping me fix a ceiling light. They also hauled away some of our junk after we moved in since they were already hauling away construction material. Everyone on their team were nice, polite, and professional. If you are particular about your plans I would definitely check in on their work to make sure they are doing it how you want. I had to ask them to start over when they made the grout lines on the shower thicker than I wanted. Even then, they were happy to change it to how I wanted it, but it did add some extra time to the completion date. Overall I am happy with their work and would recommend them to anyone who wants a licensed contractor for home improvement projects.

I (regretfully) did not end up moving forward with them on this project, but wanted to write a review because I was so thoroughly impressed with my interactions with Doron. Doron was the first contractor that I spoke with about my project, and was by far the best experience that I had. He took the time to really look at my space, listened to my needs and specific requests, and gave great suggestions on how I could improve it. After taking measurements he sat down with me for over an hour patiently answering all of my questions. This was my first time considering a major remodel and he was great at anticipating where I would need guidance. He also showed me various completed projects in his portfolio and I was so impressed with the quality of his work. I could tell that he really takes pride in his team and his craftsmanship. Doron was able to provide me with an initial quote on the same day as our consultation. I ended up with further questions and changes, and he graciously set up a zoom call with me to address them the following day. Out of all the contractors that I spoke with, Doron stuck out for being the most passionate about his work and also the most detail oriented. I really appreciated his honesty with me about what I could reasonably expect. As this was my first project, I didn't have a good idea on what to expect regarding costs. I didn't end up moving forward with Method Remodeling because of my budget, but would love to work with them in the future when I am better established.

Jose designed and fixed the area in a way that properly blocks the water and also looks very nice, clean, and professional. On the last day of the cleanup, they cleaned everything very well. Junior is very friendly, and just like Jose, he is very helpful. Jose is not only experienced in concrete work -- he also has experience handling many different types of issues. He is very patient in answering questions and clearly explains what he is doing and why it is done. I truly appreciate their hard work, and I will definitely work with them again in the future.

They followed all my custom request to fit a cat water fountain and step-stool storage. In the middle of the construction, they actually suggested that we have space to get an 18"-dishwasher installed which is my most favorite part of the renovation. My review may be overdue, but hey, even after two years, everything still works and looks great (although not as clean and pristine like the photos because of all the cooking we actually now enjoy doing, plus two toddlers and two cats lol). Karen, who did our remodel, is excellent and ensured everything was up to code and done the proper way. We have 2 young children so we were a little concerned about safety before we started the renovation but Karen made sure everything was carefully taped off and the space was cleaned up as much as possible at the end of each day. We do recommend having a good air filter running nearby though to pick up any stray dust. Since we're not designers, having input from both Dmitriy and Karen throughout the entire process was invaluable. There were many decisions to make during the renovation, and their expertise and experience made a huge difference. I was impressed at how fast they worked and how well they handled the issues with our old house (we needed to preserve the bricks to match the color, which could have been a problem if too many bricks broke during removal). I was definitely persuaded by these reviews - and now will question every business that has 5 star reviews. Do your homework and don't be fooled. Project took much longer than what it should have because they were disorganized and would forget certain things (the foreman would even admit that the PM should have told me certain things!) that I would have imagined a contractor had down pat in terms of sequencing. They use some subcontractors and you are at the mercy of their schedules. They just are not organized (you will do a lot of the reminding, checking in, following up, and certain things still may not happen). They failed inspections meaning more cost (it is their job to pass these! It says this in any contract!) If it seemed as though I was questioning something, the PM got defensive and sometimes unprofessional, gaslighting me in a very aggressive manner. I saved the communication, in fact. The people I worked with directly were young and it showed in the almost-too-casual style of communication and lack of professionalism. I surrendered towards the end and just wanted the project done and everyone gone. I feel completely foolish that I went with the significantly higher estimate thinking it would offer a smooth, superior experience. The actual people who did the work worked hard though and did nice work - hence the two stars. But at the end of the day, it's actually hard to enjoy the work as I am reminded by the months of bad experiences - up to the very end. You can find more experienced contractors out there for equal quality of workmanship and for a more competitive price. I am using a different contractor now for other work at the property - it's a 180 degree difference - they have a dedicated team for my project, meaning time to completion is more accurate and on time; they have a dedicated person to procure the finishes and fixtures, not myself; they are way more organized and even provided me a timeline of what to expect and communicate with me what time they are showing up and what progress was made that day (!!); they are bringing a truly expert eye with attention to detail that ELEVATES the space and are teaching me to ask things I didn't even know I should KNOW to ask; and most importantly, I feel truly comfortable asking questions without defensiveness and aggressive steamrolling in their answers. I received none of this level of care or expertise with MHR, and I want you to know that you should expect these things!!!

This makes no sense because we just want to get a ballpark to see if it's even make sense to continue. But anyway, on the date of the site visit, the guy come without any tool for measurements and for note taking. The guy just spent like 20 mins walking around the house and said he will get back to us with a quote. But I never hear back from them since. I think the company is very picky on clients and like to see if they have enough money to pay for their service. If they think we cannot afford it, they will just cut all the communications. This is also mentioned by other 1 star reviews.
