You can get them with meat of choice. I prefer them without jalapenos. I had the Carne Asada. It is so tender and flavorful. I am usually not a fan of rice and beans. Indeed, the rice and beans are full of flavor. The refried beans have a depth of flavor that will leave you wanting more. The Carne Asada is well seasoned and scrumptious. This is a family owned restaurant so the quality and attention to customer service is great. I love going to this place. They really care about their customers. I had molcajete which is chorizo, chicken, cactus, carne asada, and shrimp grilled and served in a pig shaped bowl with verde sauce and queso fresco. We stopped in for a meal and overall had a pretty good experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and nicely prepared. I especially enjoyed the enchiladas, which had a good balance of seasoning and toppings. The rice and beans were also better than expected and went well with the meal. Service was friendly, although it felt a little slow at times and we had to wait a bit to get someone's attention. The drinks were decent but could have been better. Nothing was bad enough to ruin the visit, and I would definitely consider coming back. Enjoyed lunch here with my sisters and a couple of friends, clean placea waitress was great had shrimp ceviche tostada, it was so delicious, packed with avocado tomato, lettuce, so much shrimp bean cheese on a beautiful crunchy tostada also had the roasted corn on the COB, which was totally delicious. I had to come on here and say something about ~Rivas~ (Real Mexican Grill) because wow... hands down some of the best food I've ever eaten. I'm not even exaggerating -- the food speaks for itself. The atmosphere is great too. It's clean, comfortable, and just has a really good vibe to it. You can actually relax and enjoy your meal. But what really stood out to me was the people. Everyone was polite, welcoming, and genuinely kind. They stay on top of everything without being overbearing -- just solid, attentive service all the way through. I'm honestly blown away. Gosh, well in the land of reviews it seems like opinions are like you know what... everyone has one. We love this place! Camarones a la Diabla is my husband's go to, and for those saying there isn't enough spice well maybe try ordering an actually spicy dish. Tacos Guadalajara is one of the tastiest taco dishes I've ever had. My personal favorite is the Quesabirria, and I usually just order one a la carte. We have been wanting to try Morenos Mexican Restaurant by Savemart for awhile now. Not a lot of good reviews here that I have seen, so we were not sure. We went there today after I got my nails done a few doors down. This place is sooo cozy inside. I was really surprised how nice this place was, the decor was spot on and service was great, Nellie was awesome. Chips salsa and guacamole of course. I'm not a fan of guacamole, hubby is, but this was soooo good. We both ordered steak enchilada suizas, beans rice. Totally stuffed. Looking forward to going back again and again. Went last night with my wife , date night .$37.00 for two orders of cheese enchiladas. (just the enchiladas) Being a Sunday afternoon the place only had a couple other patrons , we had to continuously call the waitress over for water, chips salsa . FAR OVER-PRICED for bland food. We waited patiently for this place to open and after a month, we gave it a try. NEVER AGAIN. They are out to take as much of your money as they can. Example, I have never ever had a restaurant charge a fee to use my credit card. This one did. Food was bland and service is terrible. In some cases, just rude. We will go out of our neighborhood to one of our other Mexican places for better food and at about 30% less cost. Bottom line: See all the other reviews complaining about the same things. Management does not know how to run a business. We don't think they will be in business long without having to turn it over to another owner that knows something about making good food at a decent price and better trained servers. Wife and I ate there on 09/18, 4:16 pm. Ordered the two people "Especial de Carnitas" for 24.99, two soft drinks at 3.90 ea. Not much in flavor on the food. Pretty much bland. For those who like a little spice in their food, this is not it. Service was ok. What really infuriated me was the 3% credit card surcharge they threw in on the final tab. Nothing at counter showing that and definitely nothing from the servers. I guess it's becoming more common, but still annoying. Give Moreno's a try once and judge for yourself. Get off work late most days and tried going over there for late night bite but they are never open. The latest I've stopped by was 10:00pm on there website, front door, and Apple Maps it says they close at 11:30pm which is super disappointing for us late night people. read more

Moreno's restaurant is by far my favorite Mexican go to spot because of the amazing Tacos Guadalajara. So yummy and flavorful paired great with an horchata thats so creamy and delicious. My server Jennifer greeted me with a warm smile and some warm toasted chips and salsa as a free starter. We had no idea what to do for dinner and thought we would just try this restaurant we've driven past a hundred times. We were extremely happy with the service. Forgettable. We felt like eating out but didn't want to drive far; this is 2 miles from home & recently got very good reviews. The salsa tasted like watered-down tomato sauce, the chips were stale. After eating there last week, I already forgot what we ordered, just that everything tasted bland & flat. Even the top-shelf margaritas did nothing to assuage the mediocrity. We also ordered a quesadilla to go along with chips and salsa and they charged us for the chips and salsa, my point is chips and salsa should be complementary at any time. Every time I go to Los Compadres chips and salsa are complementary when ordering to go same at las Trojes. I also ordered taquitos and they made me pay extra for sour cream and guacamole, which usually taquitos come with sour cream and guacamole and salsa as a complementary.
