We had quite the situation where appliances were not installed or not in working order with our contractor in Hawaii and unavailable the week of Thanksgiving when Christian and his co-worker descended upon our home and saved Thanksgiving. They reached out to us with an ETA, and once they arrived, they worked quietly and professionally, completing the installation of our refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher so that all three were functioning within just a few hours... which included time for them to go and get extra parts. We were able to save all the grocery shopping we had done in anticipation of guests over for Thanksgiving. Highly recommended service. We needed an old gas range removing and new one installing. Also new overhead fan. Christian is an excellent communicator. There was some juggling needing to be done as we were waiting for all appliances to be on site at the same time. No problem. He's very prompt with comprehensive messages. Making things so much easier all round. He and his mate arrived 15 mins early. Liking that. It took only about 1.5 hours to get us sorted. Clean and tidy workers (though I'd love it if they'd bought a vacuum with them to do that little bit of finessing - no marks off for that, definitely not. They removed the rats nest (not literally) that had been lurking behind the stove because it was elderly, not on wheels or legs so no chance of getting a good seeing to once a month. This has now improved for the better. The Zline has legs. Good looking ones too! Anyway, efficient, tidy workers. And not inexpensive. But worth paying for competent, friendly and fast. My mother (72 yo) had her electricity go out, and we put in a claim through her home warranty. Morff Electric was assigned to the job and I couldn't be happier with the service that they provided. It ended up being a very large job as both panels needed to be completely replaced. If there were any delays at all, it was solely because of the home warranty approval process, not due to the lack of effort on Morffs side. Communication with their office was spectacular, they were very responsive and professional, and you can tell they care about their customers. Christian is clearly an expert in the field. They service the Bakersfield area frequently even though they are coming from Burbank. Christian made two trips to Bakersfield in one day once he realized there was a better way to do the job after pulling out all of the old panel, ultimately saving my mom money on having to reframe a new box. I really cannot say enough amazing things about this company - please don't let their location deter you from calling them, he said they service our area at least once a week, if not more. After reading the amazing reviews, we requested Morff Electric through our home warranty and they did not disappoint. Christian was very responsive to our calls and questions. We had a scary moment with an outlet having smoke come out of it. We had Christopher and Carlos come out to service our requests, they were so professional, they wore their masks the entire time while inside our home and kept a safe distance while speaking with us. Shortly after moving in to a new house, our thermostat suddenly stopped working. The first electrician that our home warranty company sent out walked in hours late, asked if we had tried the breaker and then said "there's nothing I can do here, it's not covered" and then made himself at home sitting on the stairs while he talked about how lame big houses are. Had Chris come in one day to asses my house and explained what I would like. Came and gave me a quote on the original plan after seeing my home. Well I'm a bit indecisive, and I changed the plans last minute. But when he came to do the work and I explained my new idea, he readily said no problem. Of course the price changed because it involved a bit more work. I agreed and off to work he went. Chris and Joe (his coworker) did a great job! They moved furniture/things around and placed them back when they were done. They also cleaned up the mess they made. Very impressed. The work itself took about three hours. I owed a great review to Christian and his crew for the job they had completed back in July 2018, but somehow, it had found its way to hide its existence on my to-do list until now, and I feel bad that I had not yet written a review on the spectacular and beyond-expectation job Christian and his crew had completed. I had inquired literally a dozen electricians and companies on my plans for walk-in closet in master bedroom to server room conversion. Half of them turned the job down even before hearing me out. Half of the remaining half quoted outrageous price even without looking at the job site, and remaining half scheduled a free-site check for estimate. Out of remaining three, one promised a quote which was never delivered, one wanted to basically tear down the entire house and rebuild it, and Christian had most innovative ideas to get the job done in least invasive way. On the day of the job, the crew arrived and immediately started prepping for the job (covering carpet, etc.) They even had brought their own shoe cover, which was big ++ for this Asian home. When the job was about 1/3 done, Christian approached me, with new idea that he had about getting the job done. With his new idea, we ended up having at least 3 less openings on the wall (=less cost to patch/re-paint the wall). I believe the new idea involved more labor hours and more difficult work condition (someone had to crawl into the attic and work while buried in fiberglass insulation. Itchy!), but Christian delivered the job at the same estimated cost. Now THAT, is some work ethics. He found a way that is most beneficial for the client, although it may have been bit less profitable for him. A few days later, I realized one of the electrical components I asked Christian to hook up "while at it" (translation: this stingy guy asked this fine electrician to do some job for free) was not functioning correctly. Although the component he installed was completely out of courtesy, and was not part of the job contract, he swung by within couple days after his normal business hours to correct the issue. I told him I felt bad that I asked him to come out again to work on something he did out of courtesy (again, for free). Christian insisted that every job he performs, will have to work perfectly, whether or not it was courtesy job. Because that is what he promised to deliver. A perfect electrical job. Now THAT, is some work ethics. He earned my loyalty for any electrical jobs I may need in the future, until I move out of the area, or he is no longer available. As I am writing this nearly a half year after the job was completed, I feel obligated to include the fact that everything Christian and his crew touched, still works perfectly fine, and some even better. I just bought my first home and the home inspector said that there was a couple electrical issues that need to be address. My parents first encountered Chris a while back when they were having garage door problems, so my mom had Chris's card on hand for me. We called to schedule for him to come out to Palmdale and give us an estimate on what needed to be done. He came out to take a look and knew exactly what need to be done. A couple of days later we got an estimate emailed and the price was super reasonable and within our budget. We decided to go with him and schedule for him to come out. He came on and around the time frame he said with 2 others guys. All 3 of them were friendly and respectful. 2 hours later all my outlets in the bathroom (2) and kitchen were upgrade to GFCI, wiring in my attic that was not properly terminated was terminated correctly and put in the safety box that chris said it needed to be in, added outlets in the garage and secured a lose cable in the proper metal case that was needed and suggested by the inspector. All in all Chris knows his stuff and did an amazing job!!! Definitely will call back for any future electrical problems or upgrades. read more
