These guys are great! We had four recessed lights and 2 chandeliers installed. There had been a problem with the wiring of the recessed lights, and that had to be addressed before the actual installation of the new ones. In addition, the old-style lights and their housing had to be adjusted for the new ones to fit. Amazingly, Alejandro did the job (4 recessed lights, wiring repair, carpentry to change the housing, and two chandeliers) in approximately half a day. Everything worked perfectly, the floors and house were spotless when he left, and all questions were answered. Very efficient and professional. We couldn't be more pleased. Two days later, Miguel came by to do the final patching up and painting. Again, the work was done professionally and with total competence. Perfect clean-up afterward. ADI recently completed a home rewire removing all old wiring and replacing it with new modern, safe electrical wiring. When Ariel came to our house in January for an initial walk through and to provide an estimate, he told us that the things we wanted to change electrically were all inclusive in the total cost. They were the first to respond to QMerit, and Ariel came out to assess the best charger and installation point. He was courteous, professional and patient since there was much miscommunication with QMerit and its new program. After assessing our situation, he recommended a hard wire installation outside our garage since the charging would be outside. I was introduced to Cindy who was a fantastic coordinator and helped to straighten out the ambiguities and uncertainties with the QMerit program. This was critical because I was taking delivery on the EV and needed to have a way to charge it up. Cindy was able to arrange the delivery of the proper ChargePoint charger as well as properly activate the QMerit program since the payment was to be through the dealer and QMerit. What I appreciated most was the kindness, efficiency and great communication with Ariel and Cindy who made sure she tracked the charging unit and delivery and coordinated the installation. The installation team called ahead as a courtesy, and they installed the charger in a very short amount of time. They did excellent work. Waited over one month (from September to October) to get an initial inspection and estimate for the installation of a level two charger and potential panel upgrade. Once I received the estimate. I was a shocked as quote was astronomical. It took multiple phone calls, voicemails, and follow up calls to finally get a hold of somebody almost a month later (October -November), to finally speak to the person who did the estimate only to be met with aggressiveness and frustration when I asked about the quote. I really appreciate the work Ariel and the A.D.I. team did to upgrade our main panel to 200 Amps, plus install a new outdoor outlet for our sprinkler timer. It turned out beautifully! Raymundo and George did the hard work on the upgrade (it took a full day), which included breaking the stucco around the old box, in order to mount the new meter box inside the wall, plus install a new steel mast that had to penetrate the roof. Their other team member ran the new line to the outdoor outdoor box underneath the house. Part of the plan in installing the new electric panel was to move the landline which had been installed inside the old electrical box ages ago--this created a complication because there was not enough slack in the phone wires to move them 1 foot to the side and put them into a new box, so they had to cut the phone wires and reattach them. While we lost use of our phone line for a couple of days, this issue was soon resolved, and at no extra cost to us (which I appreciated very much). Their quote was honest, well detailed, and extremely reasonable for the amount of work involved, and they even included the permit and stucco work to repair the wall after the City inspected & approved their work. This was key since electrical contractors often break walls to install outlets and new panels but don't offer repair them; and I was glad to see that it was masterfully repaired to PERFECTION and painted by team member Miguel and his associate. Last, I appreciate they are a family owned company and use employees (not subs) to do the work. That makes a big difference to me when hiring contractors. I seriously cannot recommend them enough! They deserve more than 5 stars. From my first yelp inquiry to speaking with Cindy, they were responsive and friendly. The backstory - I found and fell in love with a RH chandelier for our remodel. Unfortunately, I didn't know at the time that lights have different connections and this came with a non-standard electrical mount. Our prev. electrician did the metal chandelier mount and then refused to hang the chandelier. Flash forward to ~15 crazy bids from electricians who offered to hang for ridiculous sums ($2,500 and up) etc when they heard our zip code or ones who refused based on the connection - that is when I found ADI Electrical Service and spoke with Cindy. I explained the difficulty we had been having and we just wanted a reliable, reasonable offer. Our LED chandelier was already put together, the holder was already updated to metal to support the weight but we needed someone who knew how to install this unique connection. She said that she would send her guys out who would give a complimentary consultation and if I wanted to move forward, they could do the install that day for $99. She made me feel understood, not taken advantage of, and her customer service made me feel at ease. Our appointment was quickly made for one week later. Cindy called the day before to confirm the appointment. Oliver called 30 minutes before to alert me they were en route. Oliver & Brian were our electricians and they came right on time. They read the directions, confirmed the price and got directly to work. You could tell they were knowledgeable and I felt confident in their workmanship. They were absolute professionals and did a fantastic job hanging our difficult chandelier. They also upgraded our dimmer switch for controlling the chandelier. They even vacuumed afterward and threw away their trash. ADI has earned our business with their quality workmanship, honesty, and pricing. They say when you own a house you should always have an electrician you could call if something goes wrong - we have found our company! I just wish we had found them sooner. We moved into our house a couple years ago and knew we needed to upgrade our electrical box. Ariel was very responsive, friendly and knows his stuff. Ariel was able to give us a fair estimate for the work, and even inspected the wiring in our home (which we discovered was the original wiring from the 40's). After talking about the estimates and going over the work with Ariel, we were able to discuss and come up with a plan that was in our budget. Ariel also coordinates with the city so you don't have to worry about that. We replaced the electrical box this year, and then we will replace the wiring once we save up some more money. He arrived and advised that based on the short distance to run the plug from the electrical subpanel (Less than 3 feet) the credit offered by Chevy would cover the cost.
