We can no longer recommend this firm. We had set up a trust in 2024 and at that time we knew we would be adding more grandchildren to it eventually. We should have been given the option in the wording of the trust to cover future grandchildren from our only son. Instead, we are now being told we would have to pay $1,500 to add our recent new granddaughter. Why weren't all options offered to us when we set up the trust? We trusted them because we are not lawyers. Not only that, after we were given this upsetting new information, nobody returned my call. I had to email them to confirm that this was the case. Nobody ever called us to discuss the matter, nor were there any attempts to work with us. They fired us as clients via email because I mentioned that I would be forced to post on social media about this unfortunate situation. They are a completely unprofessional firm. I don't recommend this firm because they only care about how much they can make off their clients. I truly thought they cared about their clients, but they do not. Save yourself from future nickel and diming from this firm if you have to make any changes to your trust! read more

I don't recommend this company. The office view is very beautiful. I really was very disappointed by the lack of professionalism and commitment of dismissing making a small effort of duplicating a letter the attorney promise. They told me she left and that the letter was not in their area of law. It was for a Special Needs Trust that they had charged me additional thousands more but not back it with a simple letter. We can't say enough about Darlynn and her team! We've been dragging to do our Will and Trust for years for so many reasons like cost, knowledge, finding someone we trust, and mainly because you have to be thinking about hard things like what will happen to our kids if both of us die while they are still young. We don't want to think or talk about things like that, but it was always in the back of our minds knowing we had to do it. We don't want to leave to a stranger to decide what will happen to our kids or where they'll stay until a judge decides where they end up in the event something happens to us. So, we finally pulled the trigger and scheduled our meeting with Darlynn after watching her seminar, which was very educational. Darlynn was amazing in walking us through all the hard topics, explaining each situation without bringing us down, or feeling heavy about what could happen to our kids. It was the opposite. We left the meeting feeling relieved and happy, knowing that now there is a plan for our kids if anything ever happens to us, and this plan, those choices were thoughtfully made by us, with Darlynn's help. Of course, we hope and pray that we never have to use those plans, but it's really priceless to have the peace of mind that a plan exists and it's there for our kids if they ever need it. When we came back from our signing ceremony, Karen walked us through the Will, the Trust, the people we appointed to be our kid's guardian... I spent quite a bit of money for this firm to have my trust, will etc. done some years ago. The justification for their (quite a bit) higher expense was, "that updates and changes down the road are all included". I finally called to make needed updates. NOPE. What i get included is a "30 minute phone advice phone call" but changes would cost $.... and it sounded like it was more than $1500". What do i need a 30 min phone call to tell me what changes are needed ??!! I KNOW what changes are needed !! They misled me big time (lied?). It's cheaper for me to just now to do it again, with a lessor expensive professional to just re-do it". It seems you really can't trust anyone who says the "something" is free for your life. It never is and this law firm just confirms this conclusion and I kick myself again. Steer clear. 90% of the trust/will, power of attorney, health directive stuff is boilerplate. read more

We paid the premium for a comprehensive trust thinking that we would receive assistance as our family's needs changed, but that hasn't been the case. It took a month each time to get an answer as to whether our trust will even continue to be valid in light of new circumstances. An attorney said it was something they'd have to examine.
