Our first time back in quite a while and was thrilled to hear that they reopened. We came on a weekday so there was street parking available and not too busy. It is a cozy space with table seating. Service was friendly and attentive. They served us a mini blueberry muffin to start which was yum. We ordered the Avocado Smoked Salmon Tartine, Dubai Chocolate Stuffed French Toast and the Crispy Bites. The portions were decent but the Crispy Bites dish was generous! The menu displays cash/cc prices. We're happy they're back!

The Morning Rose Cafe in Bellmore is an awesome spot. Its a bit small, but thats part of the charm. The staff is top notch, always friendly and attentive. The food is always good, and they often have some great specials. Their coffee is on point too. The kids menu is pretty sweet for the little ones. I've been here many times and will definately keep this place as one of my favorite local spots. This place is super family friendly, always welcoming to kids and adults alike. Great atmosphere, great service, and great food what more could you ask for? Favorites of mine are the chicken and waffles and all the eggs Benedict choices they're all amazing. I'll be back for sure. Enjoy!

The place was busy which I understand being overwhelmed, but being a server before I never left a table unattended and never check back in with them. Our server asked if we needed a few minutes and left us alone without putting our food in for over 30 minutes. Finally when she did take our order we must have waited another 40 minutes for our food at least. When I got my order there was a black hair on it (not sure if you could see it on the photo) but it disgusted me so I didn't eat it. She finally came back to see if we needed boxes and I told her about it. She said she was gonna take it off the bill and then never saw her again. Got a different person to drop off the check without anything taken off. It was extremely disappointing being my first time there.

My favorite breakfast place on the island by FAR!!! I was so happy they reopened. The service is always incredible, it's such a small cute homey spot. I have been a constant returner for years because the food is just incredible! I have had almost everything on the menu once and it's all incredible. My go to is the chicken and waffles Benedict. I just love everything about this place and wish them continued success! You should definitely check it out you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic brunch on a late Friday morning. Haven't been since the renovations, and wow, they look great. Same friendly and welcoming vibe, innovative menu, and a great experience. It's always nice when you leave an establishment like Morning Rose Cafe feeling great about your meal and the time spent.

Amazing breakfast spot! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was great. It gets busy so there is a waitlist that you can join online when you are on your way. The restaurant is small and homey with cute decor. I strongly suggest visiting!!

My friend and I were in the middle ground to meet for breakfast. We found the Morning Rose Café to be the perfect spot to meet. Bedford Avenue in Bellmore area is a pleasant neighborhood place for small restaurants and mom & pop shops. It is just a short walk to the from the train station. When I arrived at the Morning Rose Cafe from its red-bricked sidewalk, it resembled a home on a corner of the village. Once we entered the long hallway to the reception desk, the indoor dining was small and crowded. The indoor dining room was unassuming and a bit loud. We chose to dine outdoors along the sidewalk. The service was attentive and pleasant. Their menu options had many of your traditional breakfast items along with chicken on a waffle. I chose their avocado bread with eggs that included bacon, and my friend had Montecristo. Both breakfast items were good. I ordered tea, and they charged me an extra one dollar for honey. That was the first time I have ever seen that, but I guess honey cost can add up. I also thought the restaurant was pricey, but then again, our dining experience was good.

Great food, great service. Our waitress was so delightful and made our Mother's Day so sweet. Figurative and literally! She gave us some extra jam that spread that's made in house. The food was delicious and large portions! I recommend you make a reservation on the app, especially for the weekend or holiday. We will be back!

That said, I requested 1/2 sugar in my decaf iced brown sugar shaken espresso. I am avoiding caffeine. It was still too sweet for my taste. We also got a regular coffee which was okay. The iced lavender matcha latte was probably the best. Still a little too sweet. Last was an iced matcha latte; overpowered by sugar. If you want to taste your matcha or coffee, definitely request less sugar, much less. I didn't eat the pastries but my family said the chocolate croissant was flaky with good quality chocolate. We had it warmed up; definitely recommend that. The service was very friendly and helpful. Inside it's dark with cool paintings on the walls. They have several sitting areas with all types of couches and chairs. Outside it smelled like weed; inside it did not. Well, there you go!

There are also a seemingly endless list of options to pick from, which quite frankly is both exciting and overwhelming. I wish there was a "sampler" option to get a couple ounces of 4 or 5 different ones. The coffee itself is good and service was great, and the cafe vibes were solid. The only confusion is that you really have no idea how strong or not the taste is going to be of the item you're getting. Again with so many options of the coffee itself, and then the speciality drinks, I wasn't that positive what I was getting and although I avoid sweetness, a little bit of something would've been helpful to bring out the flavors of the coffee bean rather than just cream which is what I did (resulting in me having a pretty basic coffee that didn't taste that much different than any other ice coffee I've ever had). There's definitely so many cool options, but a little more clarity on how to properly order I think would've been helpful. Still, none the less a great spot to try out with new options to give you a years worth of visits to explore it all.

There was a little bit of a wait, but it wasn't as long as it could've been since we joined the online waitlist. Once inside, we were seated at a comfortable table towards the back of the restaurant. As we walked, you could really see how beautiful the space was, with beautiful flower arrangements adorning the archway, cushioned seats, and clean tables. The overall layout was very appealing. Our waitress, Cheryl, was very kind and professional. It was helpful to have her explain some of the beverages and food items on the menu, which helped us to narrow things down. I ordered the Fried Chicken Benny. My husband ordered the Steak and Eggs. Both were perfection on a plate. Really delicious. I don't eat fried chicken often, but if and when I'm craving it, I would not hesitate to get it from here. Even our drinks, Cinnamon Bun Latte and Crème Brûlée Iced Latte were on point. And, to finish off, we ordered the Crème Brûlée French Toast. I will admit the mere size of it was intimidating, but it wasn't dense. To our surprise, it was very light and flavorful. We will most definitely be adding this brunch spot to our rotation. I highly recommend it.

My husband ordered the tater tot waffles with scallion, sausage gravy, and sunny-side-up eggs, which also allowed me to try a bit of the gravy, something I really enjoyed. The restaurant itself is spacious and comfortable, with a kind of nostalgic, old-school diner feel, almost like a more polished version of Cracker Barrel. The staff had that classic diner professionalism too...experienced, efficient, and clearly very used to doing what they do well. My only real complaints were minor. I couldn't really taste the cheddar biscuits, and I didn't love the pickles on the eggs Benedict. I also would have preferred a bit more hollandaise. I know I could have asked for extra, but I just didn't bother in the moment. That said, I saw so many other dishes passing by that looked great, and there are plenty of things I'd still like to try. Unfortunately, it's not a neighborhood I'm often in, it's about an hour from home. That said, the next time I find myself in the area, I'll definitely make a point of stopping in again.
