First time here and the service was amazing. Super attentive and helped me navigate to what I wanted and it was to be full belly. The server was so kind and recommended the chilaquiles. The orange juice was a big hit! $7 for a tall glass and it was so sweet and fresh. Service was friendly and fast for a Sunday around 12:30. No complaints. My friends and I picked this spot in Tempe because the website stated there was a dog friendly patio and a puppy menu which allowed for me to bring my pup. I gave this place a 5 start about a year ago... and since it's gone down. I've visited several times in between and obviously have left the review to be 5 stars. Went in for my go to chilaquiles, I asked for the red salsa on the side as I wanted a crunch in my chilaquiles.. I barely got an avocado, a tad bit of cheese, no cotija cheese like in the past and two-four strips of lettuce on top. Zero flavor, I had to add salt. My friend got the breakfast burrito and potatoes with cheese on the side. The burrito (I tried) was DRY, and the potatoes were burnt! I probably won't be back for a while... it was VERY disappointing because that is my go to place I go. I always stay at the Kimpton and choose Morning Squeeze out of all the breakfast places that are more convenient for me. Do better. Staff be prideful in your appearance and your service. PS. All bar staff (where we sat) was on their phone, had former co workers sitting at the bar being extra loud and distracting my bar server from checking on our food. 20 minutes for cold food. What a warm welcome to Phoenix with our visit to Morning Squeeze! It's a cute breakfast joint with an open concept and probably about a 50 person capacity, I love the open layout and lighting immediately when you walk in. It's a Wednesday morning so pretty slow but warmly greeted and sat at the bar by the bartender. We were on our way to golf so naturally we started out with the mimosa flight, it included orange strawberry and my personal fave the pomegranate mimosa! Then for our meals we had the BLT with a house salad with the balsamic (so yum with a petite medley of tomato's and onions and croutons). Then we had the breakfast tacos, the description didn't really say they would come as "build your own" but came with 4 corn tortillas and I built a damn great couple breakfast tacos. The side potatoes came with the tacos, or you could sub for cottage cheese or fruit, but I think potatoes were the right call, so full of flavor and even good on the tacos! All in all, would recommend to anyone visiting for a quick chill yummy breakfast vibe read more
