    Lychee with coconut jelly ($5.50)
    C. H.

I noticed this bubble tea shop when I was in the area and stopped by to buy a lychee with coconut jelly bubble tea. It was reasonably priced at $5.50. Drink tasted as expected and reminded me of the classic bubble tea options when I was in college. The place is not super fancy and their menu offerings is average at best.

Good place for Bubble Tea on the North Shore. We have only tried the bubble tea, so I can not comment on the food quality. This is a smaller joint located across from a high school with a lot of international students. Bubble teas run about $5 per. It's a mix of powder and fresh fruit flavours. I like that you can mix two flavours. We like to go with Taro/ Coconut - and when we bring kids here they will experiment with all different kinds of mixes. It's also located beside some nice walking paths by the water, so on a sunny day you can grab you bubble tea and go for a walk. Good spot.

Yang mama's place is a family run business and one of the first bbt shops that opened on the north shore.

I'd known about this for awhile and finally decided to get one for myself. I ordered from the kiosk. There was an option at the top to redeem the $3.99 milk tea. My daughter who's more quick and nimble when it comes to navigating these devices placed the order and I didn't realize until we got the order that she opted for the roasted milk tea. I didn't even know roasted milk tea was an option for the $3.99 drink. I had immediately assumed it was going to be a Classic Milk Tea. Glad she went for the Roasted Milk Tea though. I always encourage her to try new things. We had it at 50% sweetness and it was still plenty sweet. Quite enjoyed it and would happily order it again. I think for next time though, I will still go for the Classic Milk Tea as I have not yet tried Sun Tea's Classic Milk Tea. As this location is located inside a Sungiven Foods, we took some time to browse around and see what groceries we might be able to take home with us. It's FIFA time right now, so there were soccer ball decorations hung up on some of the shelves.

The mango was ripe and soft, boba was perfectly chewy, and there was also some type of jelly in the drink that had a nice fruity flavor. Would recommend!

I was a bit disappointed that the menu didn't seem to match up with the purchase kiosk. I really wanted to try their matcha tiramisu but found it was gone from the menu. I settled for a brown sugar pearl milk tea instead. I thought the drink was good. It might have been a tad too sweet but I got used to it after a bit. The pearls were solid overall. It wasn't an amazing experience but I'm willing to come back again. I do wish the menus are a bit more up to date as it was a bummer to not try something exotic sounding that appealed to me.

I've had Macu Tea at their Pasadena/LA location, and the mangoes there were bland. But here at the Robson spot, I ordered the King of Mango, and it was absolutely delicious. It was super refreshing with just the right amount of sweetness. The drink only comes in one size, but it was perfect for two people to share, packed with mango goodness and all the toppings. Half of the store is actually used for mango inventory storage, which tells you how serious they are about their fruit. There are only two tables, and we were lucky to snag one so most people take their drinks to go. The line does get pretty long, and while they have one self-order kiosk, they could really use a second one. They also have a register, but that person seemed mostly focused on making drinks rather than taking orders.
