The food was delicious. We had several siu long Bao and savoury pork dumplings that are handmade and steamed in bamboo baskets. We tried the semi-sweet chocolate ones too, scrumptious. We had noodles, beef, and cucumber salad. Loved the matcha Jasmine latte and orange green tea juice. Friendly and professional severs to greet us. There was someone ready to help us with the menu or locating the loo. The restaurant is spacious with wonderful architectural features. The patio was airy and light with protection from the sun. There is an elevator and wide lanes for those requiring accessibility.

3 words. Genuinely life changing. As someone who has seen DTF ALL over my social media feeds and can never seem to escape it, I always assumed that the amount of hype it got overpowered its actual value. The food served at DTF was not only high-quality and flavourful but the attention to detail on each individual dish was extremely impressive. From the xiao long bao to the green beans, there wasn't a single critique I had. As soon as we checked in at the front, we were seated immediately by a walker who made good conversation and even made a couple recommendations! Our server then had gone over the menu with us and not only was she highly knowledgeable, but extremely welcoming to us new customers. The chicken xiao long bao was so extremely full of flavour that any additional sauce was not needed. The potstickers were nice and crispy on the outside but still bursting with a variety of flavours once bitten into. Not only is the food at DTF well prepared and curated but it is also simple and not overbearing on the palate. As someone who has a unique taste for food and is quite sensitive, I loved how engaging the food was in all my senses. It was truly an unbelievable dining experience. The food was obviously amazing and so was the service but the ambiance was on another level. It was nice and cozy in the restaurant but still managed to maintain that well-kept organized modern look. The music playing also wasn't random instrumentals of songs you haven't heard in 30 years but newer songs that fit the overall vibe of the restaurant. The bathrooms were nicely tidied, clean and even multi-gendered. I must say, as there was only two of us giant foodies, we did pay a hefty price of $260CAD(including tip) but we recommended only two to three main dishes p/person as the portions are generously sized and extremely satisfying. Be prepared to spend a bit more than your average dinner but just know you'll be leaving full, happy and satisfied with a large bag of tasty leftovers for late at night or the next morning. The overall experience at DTF Vancouver was surely an unforgettable one and I recommend this restaurant to any tourists in the Downtown Vancouver area looking for a nice Tawainese dinner to enjoy with friends and family. 10/10 experience here at DTF Vancouver and I will definitely be checking out its other locations around the world.

My first time at Din Tai Fung and I was impressed by the scale of the restaurant and the quick service. The restaurant is huge inside and we got a nice corner booth seat. The soup dumplings are obviously a hit and a must try. But I also enjoyed their noodles, ribs, cucumber salad, and green beans. Can't go wrong coming here.

We were in town and I've heard of this restaurant and saw they have a location in Vancouver. We loved it so much we went twice in 3 days. The pork xiao long bao were out of this world good. I could eat two baskets. The shrimp and pork kurobuta spicy wontons are a must too. The pork chop fried rice was good but I'd rather get more xiao long bao. Save room for dessert, the chocolate xiao long bao. It's one of the best desserts I've ever had. Eyes roll to the back of your head level. Our server was Macy and she was great at suggestions and super friendly. We requested her the second time we went too. I'm looking forward to trying their other locations when I'm traveling. They need to open a location in Fort Worth! :-)

I've been to other locations before and this place never disappoints. I will say this location had the best service of any other time I've been. We got seated right away and served quickly even though we came late and didn't have a reservation. Wait staff was very attentive the entire time. Also we changed our minds about dessert and also let us place an order even after they had already told us the kitchen was closing down awhile ago. Glad we ordered it too because the mango shaved ice dessert was so good and refreshing. Loved that it wasn't too overpoweringly sweet. Food was great as usual. We ordered dumplings, spicy wontons and the steak with noodles stir fry. Yum will be back again! Recommend making a reservation. It's always a busy place

After striking out on being able to get reservations to the Scottsdale AZ location we were able to secure a table at their Downtown Vancouver, B.C. restaurant instead! Upon arriving at the second floor (via stairs or elevator) the inside decor is modern, polished, upscale and welcoming. It has been a busy couple of months since the Phoenix/Scottsdale location opened April 20, 2026. It has been a year since this location on Alberni Street opened and it was still busy Monday night! I was a bit disappointed that this Michelin star awarded restaurant did not have gluten free soy sauce available so I was limited in my choices. I ordered the cucumber salad, bok choy and had a bite of the kurobuta pork fried rice. I was expecting an explosion of garlic and ginger when I took my first bite of cucumber salad but instead the fresh peppers, garlic and sesame oil were light but balanced. Actually, it could have used a tad more seasoning. The bok choy was cooked on high heat with scallion fused oil and arrived fresh and crisp at our table. My favorite taste this night came from the shredded kurobuta pork fried rice. It was very tasty. My favorite out of the two desserts we ordered was the chocolate mochi bao! Warm, perfect chocolate flowed from the soft wrapper as I cut into it. I didn't taste the dough but the filling was outstanding. Service was professional and genuine even though we had to wait a bit for our bill and take home boxes.

I finally did it. The finally went to DTF...but I had to leave the country to do so. The service is great, the atmosphere is nice, the food, pretty good not amazing, but pretty good which I'll take because I sadly do not eat pork. Keep in mind that if you do, it could move the needle from pretty good to amazing. Here are a few notes to give you a feel: -Definitely secure a reservation beforehand via Yelp. -Fear not if you're new to Xiao Long Bao, instructions are offered at your table. -Bring friends, try more. This is designed to be a shared experience. -Try the string beans even if you're not a fan of green beans. -The chicken Xiao Long Bao and noodles with sesame sauce are worth an order but the chocolate dumplings with sea salt are a must! Honestly, no matter what dish(es) you try, there's no share in giving DTF a try atleast once.

well, my partner and my son and I rave about this place to no end. Every time we're in Vancouver we eat there. It's an absolute must. Food, atmosphere and service are outstanding. The sauces that the chef uses in each dish is truly an experience to believe in person.

Phenomenal service and delicious food! I love that they offer vegan options as well. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and modern. The only other location I've been to was in Hong Kong and it tasted just as I remember!

This place had authentic flavors and everything was freshly made. Even though it was a packed place, the food came out fairly quick after ordering. They say 2-3 plates per person but that's too much. I say 1-2 is enough because you will be sharing. Some portions are bigger than others. Drinks are on point.

As always, the food and service were excellent. We plan to go back many times, especially with visiting guests.

The Beef Noodle soup was ok but not as flavourful as Red Beef for example. It lacked a bit of kick. The meat was a little too soft for my taste but its very personal. I did see some other very interesting dishes so I will be back to try those and give a better verdict. Service was good and its a very big place despite what it looks like on the outside.

We ate what would normally be a $100-$125 US meal for under $80 US. It was awesome. We got so much food - it was ridiculous. We ate quite a bit and saved the rest for leftovers. The servers were super nice and sweet. Very family friendly. We found our new go-to spot in Vancouver, B.C. Also, if you give it a little time the parking isn't too bad. Dinasty also stays open a little later than most restaurants in town, making this a viable option when in a pinch for food but running late in the day. Will absolutely go back next time in town. Thanks for having us. Comparable to Dough Zone or Din Tai Fung, somewhere right in between with quality and cost. Everything was yummy.

5 Stars - Excellent Chinese Seafood in Vancouver…read more Dynasty Seafood Restaurant 108-777 West Broadway, Vancouver, BC V5Z 4J7, Canada Visited: August 18, 2026 On a recent trip to Vancouver, I dined here for the first time with several colleagues of mine from Southern California, and we had an excellent experience. This was a spur-of-the-moment find. We didn't have reservations, so we did a quick Google search for a good Chinese restaurant in the area, and Dynasty Seafood Restaurant came highly recommended. When we arrived, the restaurant was very busy and absolutely hustling and bustling. Fortunately, despite not having a reservation, our party of five only waited about 10-15 minutes for a table. We decided to order family style and share everything. Our order included: * Hot & Sour Seafood Soup - $36.99 * Pineapple Sweet & Sour Pork - $44.99 * Prawns & Scallops with Wine - $49.99 * Noodles with Soy Sauce - $32.99 * 5 Tsing Tao beers - $42.50 * 3 orders of Rice - $12.60 Subtotal: $220.06 CAD GST: $11.00 Liquor Tax: $4.25 Total: $235.31 CAD Everything we ordered was very good, but the sweet and sour pork was outstanding. I honestly would have been perfectly happy having an entire order of that as my meal. It was easily one of my favorite dishes of the evening. The hot and sour seafood soup was another highlight. It was loaded with seafood, including chunks of lobster, scallops, and shrimp, and had excellent flavor. I would definitely order that again as well. The prawns and scallops and the noodle dish were also very good, and sharing everything family style gave us a chance to try a nice variety. The service was very good and attentive throughout the meal, especially considering how busy the restaurant was. The restaurant itself was very clean and had more of an upscale atmosphere, yet I thought the prices were quite reasonable for the quality of the food, service, and overall experience. This turned out to be a great spur-of-the-moment choice. Five stars from me, and if I'm ever back in this part of Vancouver, I would definitely return to Dynasty Seafood Restaurant.
