She was helpful, caring, funny and did did whatever she could to be accommodating to us. We are gonna stay in this place for as long as we can, we love it . Oh, and they have free water and coffee. Hoping this will catch the owners attention, as I have tried countless times getting ahold of this place for my refund from 9/29/25!! I signed up online as this place looked perfect on paper, chose the next shown available day to move in, drove over only to find they were closed Sunday, despite showing they weren't on Apple maps. Fine, so I go back the next day. Well past opening, no one is there besides other people needing to get in their new units. Come back an hour later, still nothing. Call the main office for help, they try to help me in but let me know you need someone in person so they try and get in touch with the manager and tell me I should hear back within an hour. The whole day goes by, meanwhile I still had to move my stuff and had already rented a van to do so, so opted for another place down the road. They ended up leaving a voicemail, I show up an hour before they closed and still waited outside a locked door for 50 minutes. Abby helped me and let me know I could get everything refunded and should hear back within a week. A few weeks go by, as I have a life and things get busy. I email to create a paper trail and was able to talk to Renee then Brian who let me know the management was shifting but let me know I should get refunded within 1-2 weeks after verifying my information. It's now been 2 MONTHS since hearing back, and I've sent many follow up emails as I will not trust a verbal confirmation at this point. They also have at least 4 different numbers listed?? I've stored here for many years and this is the worst it's ever been. There is a massive rat infestation throughout one entire building. That includes 2nd and 3rd floor! They have known for 6 months and did not take the needed measures to protect the rest of the customers belongings. Trash piles up indoors and by the dumpster. The restrooms are disgusting most days. Lights on the buildings work occasionally. They want your money but care nothing about their customers or their belongings! They don't have a permanent manager right now and this will be the 3rd manager in less than a year. Do not store here if you wish to keep your belongings safe! read more

Staff is chill and very helpful! I got a 10x10 and it's very spacey. Having it open 24 hours is extremely convenient as well. Price ain't bad since I got military discount so if you're serving, definitely go here! Besides some dead bugs, there's no issue and there hasn't been any bad insurance events either. I've used the services here twice in a few years and it's always been a solid easy process. Love it! read more

I had my unit broken into along with 10+ other units over three days. The corporation responded and then was told to no longer talk to the tenants. The SAPD stated they thought it was an inside job due to the nature of the crime. The thieves methodically removed my property over six hours and put what they didn't want back in. The cameras are recorded but are not attached to anything. Their sign states THANKS FOR COMING. "We'll worry about your stuff. You worry about everything else." They never called for recovery. They doubled the price overnight without a message and withdrew from my account without authorization. read more

Great facility for personal storage! I needed a place to store my "life" while my house was being built. Morningstar Storage was perfect for me. Signing up was easy and the staff was friendly and helpful every time I needed assistance. This facility allowed an 18 wheeler access to drop off everything into my unit. I was able to access everything after hours with my code. My possessions were in a climate controlled building so I didn't have to worry about anything freezing or melting. I did some shopping around and Morningstar cost a little more then the rest, but it was worth it for me. read more

Daniel was very rude, talking to me with an angry or upset voice, he not let me explain the situation. I called yesterday to check if a specific unit was empty because people who was/are renting said they will moved out by 31st of May. I wanted a small unit and in same building, he said he will check and he will call me back to see if was one in third floor. He never called me, I called him two times and he never answered the phone. I called today few times, finally I was able to try to talked and explain my situation but never gave me the change. Person like him that can't handle a customer should not be working in a place like this one. I am pleased so far, it is very clean, good location and the manager went above and beyond when she helped me load wardrobe boxes in my car. Security seems very tight, I was given a temporary gate number until they finish upgrading their system. All said I am very happy with my decision to use Morningstar. read more

Very rude employees! I spoke to a manager named rick and he was very rude and sarcastic. I never got my free months rent, I ended up paying twice with the unit was quoted. I told him to let me speak with someone higher than him and he ended up giving me a number. Saying that I can call cooperate myself or I could go to a payphone.
