Beats going down the hill for an oil change. I can get an oil change down the hill for $60 but this place is less than a mile from my house. Was charged $80. Got to sit in my car the whole time while my son admired the tools in the garage. Probably took about 20mins total that's including the time I waited for the person ahead of me. $80 is a little bit more than I've paid in the past for a change but beats the drive and inconvenience. read more

The gentlemen at this facility are always working hard, efficiently and effectively. I pulled up with 4 other cars ahead of me and the owner was quick to get everyone's information for easy payment and service as soon as you pulled up to the working bay. He confirmed my vehicle details, oil type, and current mileage; promptly came back with a new oil change reminder sticker, receipt of payment and soon thereafter I was up! They definitely live up to the Quick name. Just drove up, waited in the vehicle and it took all of 7min to change the synthetic oil on my minivan. Looks like they also topped off my windshield wiper fluid and knocked out my engine air filter. I usually go to John's and that was $65 last time, so I was a bit surprised at the cost at $90. read more

Had oil changed here in june, next day had oil on the driveway from a leak, Took it back, they said they fixed it. Today i am paying a mechanic 900 dollars for a new oil pan, as the drain bolt had been stripped and they tried to thread a bigger bolt in, which obviously didn't work, Will not return here and will be telling everyone in town what happened. read more

I have used Yucca Valley quick lube twice in the past and received good customer service. However, today I witnessed something that was beyond rude. The dumpster is placed in a way on the corner of the building that blocks through traffic. The three young boys working had just parked to the side of the dumpster in a legitimate parking spot, but because the dumpster is in the way doesn't allow access on the backside of the building. The dumpster and the employee parked vehicle completely block traffic to the northwest side of the building. I am sure the Fire Marshall would have something to say about that. It's not really the fact that they blocked the parking spot but how they responded to a woman who asked them to move their car so that she could continue to drive through. They pompously continued to walk back into their place of work well yelling at her that they are parked in a parking spot. The three young boys, at work, ended up yelling at the woman who was trying to drive by. I drove up just about at 12:30 and was informed by one of the boys that they are closed for lunch. Maybe for safety reasons you need at least two people working in the garage at a time, but there were three employees. You really have to close for lunch for an hour when you have three employees? How about one person goes to lunch at a time, two people keep working, and then you rotate lunches? Who knows how many customers you lose over the lunch hour. I will be taking my vehicles elsewhere for an oil change. There was no reason for these employees to arrogantly block traffic and be rude to a woman that was driving by. read more

I get the best service at Quick Lube. I went in today for an oil change and Steve was very helpful. I didn't need the oil change right now. He checked under the hood, also checking fluid levels for me. Steve and his guys are very professional and they are open seven days a week. Check the website for hours. Two stars for customer service (honestly deserves five), which is outstanding, but this is the second time I've had to take my car in to a mechanic after getting my oil changed. The first time, AC runoff was leaking into my car which my mechanic told me happened during an oil change. This time when I got an oil change, I asked the attendant to see if he could tell why my temp gauge was coming on while sitting in idle. He messed with the battery, checked the fuses, added coolant, and did some other tinkering I couldn't make out. By the time he was done, my car barely turned over, my battery light and airbag light were on, but at least the car wasn't overheating. He told me it must be my alternator. Convenient. I went to work last night and when I got off, again my car barely turned over, my lights nor radio turned on, all of the maintenance lights were on, my gas gauge wasn't registering that there was gas in the car, and there was a funky egg smell coming from the engine compartment. When I brought my car in this morning, the finger was pointed at ME. That it couldn't possibly be anything the attendant did. I heard them sarcastically joking that "because I was trying to be nice and look at it, of COURSE it's my fault". Of course it is, sir. YOU were the one messing around with my car and unless it's just some really big coincidence that my car is now not functioning properly, it IS your fault. I HATE leaving reviews like this for businesses that seriously have some excellent customer service, but I drove out of there with a shrug from the owner and what sounded like an apology, but was barely audible. Now I have to spend money I don't have to get my car fixed and I'm humiliated by the treatment I received from these people. Customer beware. Service is generally great (especially from the wife of the business), but these accidents keep happening and I can't afford a $40 oil change that turns into a couple hundred dollar repair. read more
