This place does not properly sanitize their equipment. This is 2026 and a nail salon! Why don't they have individually wrapped nail tools showing they have been autoclaved? With individual nail files and feet buffs? I came in for a pedi against my better judgement. I was in desperate need and this place is close to home so I risked it. Big mistake. The girl they set me up with must have been new and during the massage part of the pedi was incredibly rough. I had to ask her to be more gentle. I ended up with some slight bruising and soreness on both legs. But to add insult to injury, I know believe I am dealing with athletes foot. I have redness and itching on both feet and from what I have been reading and with the timeline of my pedi, it adds up. I have no reason to believe I could have acquired this anywhere else. I normally suck it up and pay more and go to MiniLux so I only have myself to blame but I have to warn anyone thinking of going here. I had a Dip Manicure and Pedicure and selected color D97 which is a sparkling Berry color. The pedicure was great and I love the color. However, the manicure color does NOT match! They put a dark brown powder in the empty container and lied that the manufacturer made the mistake. This bait and switch is both unethical as well as illegal! All they had to do is be honest and say they don't have the dip in the D97 color. To deceive clients and then lie about it is completely unacceptable. As a woman of color, I feel this was a RACIST motive behind this. I know they wouldn't pull a stunt like that with any of the non-Black women! And they charged me full price $80 for a mismatched mani-pedi! We need to boycott Morrissey Nail and show them their racist behavior is not ok! The woman that does it has such delicate hands and she tells you to take a nap and throws the most comfy blanket over you. Again I can't stress how delicate she was. My lashes came out great. For somewhere so nice their bathroom could use a little work. It was the only part I found to be unpleasant. The technician was nice and very pleasant. They took me in right away, I didnt have to wait and the salon was full. They have so many technicians in there I cannot imagine anyone waiting long for anything. One of the hardest tasks when moving to a new city is finding the perfect place for your nails. This is my go to nail salon in Boston, in fact it's the only salon I've been to since I fell in love on my first visit! They take walk ins, it's very clean, and there are many color options for regular polish, gel, and dip/sns/powder. I've been coming here once a month for a year now and I think I've made my way through all of the techs. I've loved all of them except 2... one did my pedi waaaaay too slow (1.5hrs!!) and the other used a brush with other powder residue on it that speckled my light color nails, but even these 2 did a great job on my nails. I've never left unsatisfied! My one watch out is that the powder color may turn out a little different than the sample, but this is due to the process of the companies creating the dip, not the salon. read more

I'm honestly disappointed by the work from this place my last couple of visits. Literally only one person can do the dip powder properly. The last two times I went, my nails weren't smooth, hated the shape. Best believe by the third day my nails were chipping already. It's dip for God's sake, not to mention it cost $40. Prior to these time my nails were lasting a whole month without any issues when Peter did them. He is on the longest vacation. I am assuming who was the manager, was doing everything in his power to get me in for my nails despite all the nail techs ready to leave at closing. I've been getting my nails done here since they opened a few years ago. I've never had a bad experience. It's always clean and I've only had to wait if I show up at a high volume time like directly after work or on a weekend morning. I went in for the first time since the quarantine started in March. I was immediately impressed at the lengths they've gone to to keep the salon safe. I made an appointment as they are not allowing people to wait inside. Upon entering, I was asked to sanitize my hands, my temp was taken and I provided my name, address and phone number for contact tracing purposes. They've installed plexi glass at every mani/pedi station and have additional panels that have been attached to frames that they can move around. Everyone was masked and socially distanced.
