Those reviews are from such a long time ago. Dr. Fox has one of the highest quality of employees. From Dr Fox, the office manager, the lab workers, my Nurse Practitioner, her assistant, and the front of the office. They are all top notch professionals, kind, caring, and compassionate. It is one of the only offices of the many I go to that do not treat you like a number on a file. They encourage me to take my time explaining my issues AND THEY LISTEN ! They treat me with kindness and respect ALWAYS. The entire office is very responsive to any and all my needs. Weather it is rescheduling an appointment or a new type of pain that has started, the employees at Active Healthcare go above and beyond to help me. I have seen them treat other patients and the "office culture" runs true throughout. Patients and their caregivers are treated with dignity and respect. I would Not recommend any office other than ACTIVE HEALTHCARE for weight loss, aging maintenance and Pain Management, etc.

I switched Pain Centers about 6 months ago and Dr Fox actually took the time to examine me and introduce himself. My last place never even looked at my back plus I never met the doctors only staff and PA. Rachael is a very good listener and takes the time to get to know you as a person. You never feel rushed and treated like an assembly line at a factory. She is very intelligent and very compassionate on what she does. Chelsea is also very nice and I enjoy going there every month. This clinic is committing contract fraud per BCBS. they have overcharged me co-pays and it is not…read moreuntil you look at your EOB do you realize it. They tried again today (after billing and having to remit a refund) and I told them that my co-pay was less and they said oh you are correct. They were also charging a swipe fee. My insurance company called me out of the blue for case management and told me it is contract fraud. I have to tell them no swipe fees. I paid them the co-pay in change because of the swipe fee before learning it is fraud. Since I did that, 1st visit they let me wait 2.5 hours and left me wait this past visit. They are refusing to offer real solutions to my pain and I had to request the results of my latest test 4 times before getting them. I only went back to get test results as BCBS stated that I need a new provider. They are completely dishonest and will overcharge you any chance they get. Buyer beware!

At 9am, I opened the door to leave, since no one showed up, and sitting down the hall was the practitioner, at a computer, she looked at me and I quote " we're you waiting for me ". I just said I was, for the last 40 minutes, but I am leaving now.... she just said " OK ". This kind of service is nothing like service we got in MY generation.

But when going to Cora in Morristown, it has helped him more than any place he's been. Charles the therapist has went overboard in working with Mack to meet his needs and makes him feel welcomed--whereas in other places he felt the others were just hurrying him out and didn't take their jobs serious. They kept trying to give me more psych meds for my chronic pain; because they weren't controlled medications. They tried me with a new one every other month, except this past month. My provider, Amy Blevins, seems to always stick me with people she was training to the office or training to become nurse practitioners. I don't mind that at all because I understand that everyone has to learn. I am open and honest about my care that I got from other physicians. I told one of the providers and nurse assistants that I would be having surgery and what date I was having it done and that I would be given narcotic pain meds. This past visit, Amy Blevins stated that my account was flagged for getting narcotics from another doctor; and she DID NOT look into my account before making this ridiculous accusation. I told her that I told other providers that she was training before and after the surgery, and that I was open and honest. She looked at me with such disgust, that I am refusing to go back to this pain clinic!! Learn from me, DO NOT go here!!! They reel you in as a trustworthy pain clinic, then treat you like trash when you are open and honest about your medical care from other providers!!!

The third time I called I got Chris on the phone who told me they had a note to call me back. I told her about my problem and she said she would discuss it with the doctor and he would give me a call. That was on Friday. Today at 1:30 I called them again! Because I had still have not received a return phone call from their office after 4 phone calls to their office. They took no responsibility for their lack of concern and action and where horrible on the phone to me. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to these people. Very uncaring, unapologetic and not willing to take any responsibility for their lack of action.
