NEVER BUY A VEHICLE FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!! THEY LIE Below is a email I sent to the GSM and never got a response. Also life time tires was the only reason I ended up purchasing from this dealership and then get told today oh your outside of the mileage and also its a commercial vehicle and refused to honor the tires for life which I was told and they even knew it was for a work truck and said yes the life time for free did not matter as long as it was under the same buyers name. They lied, I will never refer or but vehicles from this place again. Mark Mullins, I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to share my experience regarding my recent vehicle purchase and some issues that have led to significant frustration on my end. Please know that if it were not for the lifetime tires, I would have considered purchasing from another dealership. The first issue concerns one of the vehicles having the tire light on and an issue with the monitoring system. This was supposed to be fixed prior to the purchase, but almost a month later, I'm still being told that the wrong sensors were installed. Initially, I was told that the tire light was due to the cold weather and would go off after driving, but given my experience with vehicles, I knew this was not the case. Now I am told the correct sensors have been ordered, and I am once again required to take time out of my schedule to bring the vehicle back. Secondly, the bed of one of the trucks still had trash, dirt, and rocks in it when I test drove it. Despite asking four times for this to be cleaned, it was not completed until I insisted, even after making the purchase and before leaving the dealership. This level of oversight is concerning and certainly not what I would expect from a dealership. A third issue arose regarding the discount on the two trucks. I was offered $500 each off of both, and I had decided to pass on one and then decided to go ahead and purchase and was told by the finance guy oh we can go ahead and offer you $500 off that one too even though we didn't before. I was being presented with an offer that was not actually an additional benefit, as it was simply the discount I had already been offered. The fourth issue was related to receiving only one key for each vehicle. I was told I could purchase additional keys on my own, which is unacceptable given the significant amount I spent. I insisted that the dealership cover the cost of a second key for each vehicle, or I would purchase them from another dealership. Which they did do in the end. Lastly, while I understand that my sales representative, McKenna, was new, she will undoubtedly perform well with the proper training. However, I did experience delays when I called ahead to have the paperwork ready. Despite confirming this, I still had to wait once I arrived, after driving an hour to the dealership. Overall, I find it disappointing that after spending nearly $60,000 on two vehicles, I have had to dedicate so much time and effort to resolve these issues on my own. The customer service provided by your dealership does not compare to the exceptional service provided by the nearby Chrysler dealership, and I am disappointed by the lack of attention to detail. I hope that you will take my feedback into consideration and work to improve the customer experience at your dealership. I look forward to resolving the outstanding issues promptly. read more

Bought a car from them 9 months ago and have had nothing but problems from it and them. The car was supposed to be certified and not a thing wrong with it, but as soon as I got off the lot I had to get an alignment and new tires. My brake caliper failed and I had to get it replaced along with new brakes and rotors. Every time I tried to get them to fix something it's "not in my warranty" which was supposed to be the best warranty they offered. Fast forward to today my car is in engine power reduce mode and I can barely get down the road. The service manager and the sales manager both decided they were going to hang up on me while I'm trying to get this issue resolved. The sales manager also decided he would tell me that he would just have my bad reviews removed. They know they are selling pieces of junk and DO NOT CARE!! Do not use Morristown Ford service department. I was having an issue with my battery draining and I was told it was the gear shift module $867.00. I took the car to Morristown Ford in February. When I arrive to pick my vehicle up I was told it needed a new battery. I stopped by Advanced and purchased one. Two days later I go out to start the car battery drained. Called Morristown Ford and was told it'd be 2-3 weeks before they could get it back in. Once I got the vehicle home it wouldn't shift into gear. Never had this issue before the service. So three weeks later, I tow it to Morristown Ford we're now in April. Alex the service person over my car told me they would only charge me for only any new parts and they would cover the tow charge. After calling for 3 months asking when my car would be done it was finally finished at the end of July. I was then told Alex was no longer with the company and I owed another $1216.00 dollars. When I asked what they replaced I was told gear shift assembly/selector and the bill was for 10 hours of labor and the tow charge. I wasn't happy but paid the bill and knew I would never use this dealership again. Go out to my car battery is completely dead. They jump it off and I notice my battery holder wasn't installed. They go in the shop and find one and the guy screws it in the wrong location. After getting the car home the battery was bad due to it sitting there for 3 months and they never unhooked it. So here I go back to Advanced for yet another battery. Install the new battery and now the car will not go into gear again. After inspecting I notice the shift assembly is missing the bushing and cap. I repaired that myself as I will never use this dealership for service or repair. Customer service is absolutely the worst I've ever seen from any dealership. read more

We bought a truck at Morristown Ford and I must say it was a pleasant hassle free experience. This dealership was recently sold and is now under new management. Skyler was our salesman. He is very nice, genuine, patient, conscientious and worked tirelessly to accommodate us.  The managers at the high desk were incredibly nice and informative. The gentleman in accounting was outstanding too.  I think we all know buying a car can be a horrible stressful experience but I can honestly say we had a very good experience with absolutely NO pressure. Without reservation, I'd recommend the Morristown Ford Service Department to anyone. They took the time to CORRECTLY address a factory recall problem (Ford recall 22S06 - faulty back up camera harness and/or camera module) on my 2015 50th Anniversary Edition Mustang. I had previously attempted to address this problem at another Ford dealership in the area (one that was closer to my home). After two separate visits and FIVE hours of my time, the service advisor AND service manager at that location stated they would not honor the terms of the recall. I contacted Ford Customer Service and they recommended taking my car to another dealership in the area. I was pleased that Morristown Ford's service department took the time to correctly address the problem, which turned out to be a FAULTY installation of the new backup camera wiring harness. Frankly, the previous dealership's work looked as though it had been accomplished by a rank amateur. They must have used half a roll of electrical tape to cover up their defective workmanship. Again, can't say enough good things about the service advisor I dealt with (Mr. Shawn Stinson) and his team. read more

This is the dealer where I have taken all of my 4 Ford vehicles for service and tires for the past 5 years, I purchased a 2nd set of tires as the first set wore out prematurely and they were under tread wear mileage warranty, which is prorated, with that said, I contacted the Tire Manufacturer and as them the steps on what I needed to do? They said take it back to the dealer and have the tires inspected to confirm there was no wear due to mechanical issues or alignment. And the dealer found everything in good order, the only issue was the tires were worn and needed replacing. So I ordered the same tires from the dealer, and had them installed. So far so good. This dealer sold me tires, and I informed the service dept. that the old tires HAD TO BE RETURNED for warranty as it is a requirement for them to be able to honor manufacturer tread wear warranty, they also look for issues with the tires themselves to see why they wore so quickly. Here is where things go south, I did a follow up call to the tire company and they stated that the dealer had not sent them any information or the tires back for the warranty to be issued. THEY ALSO INFORMED ME AFTER THE FACT THAT THE TRIES TO BE RETURNED HAD BEEN DISGUARDED AND NOT RETURNED... NOT GOOD... So I called Morristown Ford and this went on for 2 weeks, I would call, and would get a inexperienced service writer and she would say they would call me back, Never happened, I also have an email paper trail to show my efforts, I called them and would get put on hold of flowered to a voicemail box where I left voice mails asking for a call back and follow-up. CRICKITS.... A dealer is only as good as their customer service and what I have experienced has been subpar service. I would recommend the owner invest in employee training as this will surely be detrimental to their customer base and cost them in the long run as your return customers are your bread and butter. I did my research and offered the fair market price. I was told that Kelly Blue Book lies and they would not accept anything other than the full price of the vehicle. Not only did they wrongfully charge us warranty fees by claiming you had to pay the warranty deductible for each repair done rather than the one-time fee for the entire visit (we had multiple problems needing looked at), but they created a new problem each time our truck was brought in. Unless you enjoy being lied to about your warranty, spending money you don't need to spend, and having incompetent mechanics work on your vehicle that will create more issues for you, look elsewhere. They will never have our business again. Their "mistakes" aren't just expensive, they're dangerous. Thankfully no one was hurt in our case. Morristown Ford may or may not fix your car. They will connect your your car to their big, fancy computer. They will replace many parts and charge labor for everything until they find the root cause of your issue. They will not refund you for the unnecessary parts or labor. They will not take responsibility for their incompetence. You will lose your money and your mind dealing with Morristown Ford. We live 500 miles from Morristown. We suffered a malfunction on the highway as we were passing through Tennessee. Our truck, with it's good battery, drove us nearly 20 miles to the dealership before it died in their parking lot. The technician told us we just needed a new battery. (Really? It's dead because it drove us all the way here.) After selling us a new battery and 8 hours of waiting, the technician told us we needed a new alternator. (Really? The new battery didn't fix it?) I ordered an alternator and intended to replace it myself. We spent the night in Morristown. I picked up the new alternator and went to replace it. When I looked under the hood to see which tools I needed, I found what was left of our broken serpentine belt wrapped around my front axle. (How could these "professional" mechanics and technicians have missed such an obvious fault???) Needless to say, they did not compensate us for our troubles, refund the unnecessary battery, or play well when we filed with the BBB. The BBB is another story altogether. If you decide to visit Morristown Ford, have fun losing your money. You've been warned. read more

I brought in our car for a repair and an oil change. 1 or 2 days later we get an estimate of the cost which wasn't cheap but it needed to be done. Two weeks later, I receive a voicemail saying our car was done. Upon arrival, the invoice is about $100 more than quoted. This got me very frustrated and I asked for an explanation, the service representative tried to explain the monkey math which didn't add up. In the end her explanation was that the quote I received 1-2 days after bringing the car in was just for the repair and not for the service. She stated she was sorry they made a $50 error, but still made it clear that I as a customer have no right to be angry because of their unclear communication and financial mistake in their favor. How much extra money are they pocketing by these "mistakes"? This is the last time we will ever set foot in this establishment and we will never purchase a Ford again. Went online and made an appointment (I thought) for oil change and look at another issue the explorer was having. Turns out that even though you can select a specific date and time for your "appointment" doesn't mean you actually have an appointment. I failed to read the fine print at the bottom of the page that someone would call you within 48 hours to actually make the appointment. Granted I didn't see the fine print but why do you have a site labeled "Service Appointment" with positions to enter all your and your car's information, select the date, and the time and not think (like any other of appointment site I've ever used) you had actually made an appointment. Spoke with the service manager and got the "we are working on it!" That i doubt. I really thought going to a dealership in the country would be more customer service friendly than the big city, but I was wrong. I told him they need to take that site down and simply state "Call for a service appointment." Poor. read more

Terrible overall experience! While they were repairing a pan gasket on my F350 diesel truck they caused damage to a pulley and serpentine belt. Dawn Matthews was very discourteous and down right RUDE after I had the truck towed there after the serpentine belt broke which had a large perfectly round hole in it, and damage to a pulley. It only made it 11 miles after picking it up from the shop. Dawn was not professional at all, after much discussion with her she agreed to pay for the repairs but told me she was noting my account and that I was not to do business at Morristown Ford again. After finally receiving my truck back 2 weeks later, a check engine light came on on the way home. I took it to a different dealer for the issue and was treated with the utmost respect. Horrible, horrible, horrible. Took the car in to fix the electronic problem. Had a diagnosis from Auto Zone specifying what the problem was. Was charged $125.00 and nothing was done. Would not tell me what was wrong and wanted another $650.00. When asked if they would guarantee the problem would be fixed they said they don't do business like that. I am sure it would have gone on and thousands of dollars would have been spent by the time they decided to fix original diagnosis. Do not use them. I recently purchased a 2001 Toyota 4runner from Morristown Ford. The vehicle had high mileage, but was a single owner, clean title, and the interior/exterior was in fantastic condition for its age. I emailed the dealership and was informed that the vehicle was "maintained well" and over the phone that it was in "great condition". We came to an agreement on a price, barring any major problems after the test drive via email since I had to drive 2 hours to the dealership. I arrived at the dealership and examined the vehicle, everything looked great, including the engine and frame, except for a check engine light. I asked, and they agreed, to take it to an Autozone to assess the problem. It was a knock sensor code, and I thought it would still be worth the price to have that fixed. Otherwise, the vehicle seemed to drive well around town and I was not informed of any other problems. I payed for the vehicle and signed an expected As-is agreement for an older vehicle. I drove the 4runner home, and then drove it to work the next day. It seemed very underpowered, struggling to stay above 70 and got a very low 14 mpg. Upon showing the vehicle to a co-worker, we discovered a massive leak. Nearly the entire passenger side of the engine bay was covered in oil. It was pretty obvious that the engine bay had been wiped clean when I originally looked at it to hide a leak so large and quick forming. I took it to a Toyota specialist to assess the problem. They informed me that not only were the expected knock sensors bad, but that someone has "been in it and really messed things up". The scissor gears were not properly loaded and had to be redone. The massive leak was from two valve cover gaskets that had to be replaced. The total bill was nearly 2 thousand. I contacted the dealership, hoping they would help me out with repairs or take the vehicle back. I was perfectly willing to pay the portion for the knock sensors that I knew were needing to be replaced. I was told by the General Manager (through a salesman) that I signed the as-is agreement and that they would do nothing to help the situation. They claimed that they didn't assess the vehicle and were unaware of the major problems, even though this vehicle had been described to me as in "great condition" and was "well maintained", went through the original trade in process to the dealer, was price assessed for online sale, and subsequently sold to me. Shame on me for putting my trust in the integrity of Morristown Ford, and shame on me for hoping their reputation would be important enough to them to help me fix a problem that was obviously known to them. read more

Sales person lied about several aspects of my deal. Alex the general manager was also not completely honest with me. he did work to get me in a different car but could not get it done in 7 business days. the final straw came on Saturday. A salesman kept us corralled away from Alex for 2 hours finally when he realized I was getting very upset he went and got Alex. Alex told me we needed proof of household income I promptly left to get it. I was back in less than 1 hr. Alex then said he would let me know if the deal goes through at ford on Monday sometime. again he knew Saturday was the time I told him I had to know by. I had asked him on the first meeting to have the dear retracted and was told "that is impossible once it goes to the finance company it can not be done". Well the finance company informed me that indeed it can be done and has been done . All they needed was the dealership to contact them and request it. Morristown refused to do it. I highly recommend that this new owner you avoid Morristown Ford like the plague. My family has dealt with Morristown many many times in the past twenty some years never had a problem till the new owner took over. The customer is the last thing on their mind. Money is their God service and customer relations is a joke to them. I could go on but I end with this warning; Stop turn around go any place but Morristown Ford. read more

I and my family have bought multiple cars here and Dinah, Issa, Sam and additionally the finance guys and service department are always great. While we purchased our daughters new car 2016 Ford Focus today (which they had everything ready pretty much when we arrived) service took my F150 in and completed my servicing at same time. These guys are great, still wonderful, just as much, if not better than the first time we purchased, over 2 1/2 years or so ago. If I could give zero stars I would. On multiple occasions I have had horrible experiences with this dealership, and their service department. The service writer is without question, the most unprofessional, non-customer centric service writer I have ever dealt with. Rather than admit he made a mistake, and was in a rush to get out of work on a Friday, he indicated that my wife was a liar, and never told him about service that the my truck went in for. (even noted when the appointment was set up) All said and done, the work was (again) not completed properly, and had to stay in the shop over the holiday weekend. Not once did we receive a proactive call regarding the status of the service, or the status of the troubleshooting after the job was botched. I had to call every time....with the exception of the final call telling us it was FINALLY completed. ZERO STARS-ZERO CONFIDENCE. Horrible service, horrible service writer. My truck will never roll on this lot again, nor would I ever consider buying a vehicle from such an unprofessional dealership. read more

We found a Nissan Frontier online at Morristown Ford. We live an hour and half away, so we called the dealership to make sure that there were no issues with the truck. We were told that it was in great shape and we should come on out to take a look at it. We were pre-approved with financing online, so everything was in line to load up 2 of our children and take the trip after work (we got there about 6:30). We got there and drove the vehicle and discovered that the service engine light was on. When I asked the salesman about it, he told me that it had already been through the service department and that it was probably just that the sensor needed to be reset. We went inside to work with financing. Joe, the "general manager" came over and told us that the truck had transmission problems and was actually on the wholesale list. Yet, it was on the lot, on all of the marketing websites, and the salesmen were actively trying to sell it. It also had the sticker on the window indicating a full maintenance check. Joe then told us about a F150 that would be in our same price range. We drove it around the lot, and it immediately started making grinding noises. We went a little further and it started making a terrible squealing sound. A salesman out on the lot told us that it was the brakes where it had been sitting a while. It wasn't even when I was hitting the brakes. Joe told us that he would have it go back through the service department. We left at closing time to drive an hour and half back home. A complete evening wasted. The next day, I called to find out what was wrong with the F150. Joe told me that it was in the shop getting everything fixed. It needed new brakes, new brake pads, and new rotors. We told him we would be back up there the following day (Saturday) to come and take a look at it and hopefully take it home. We called Saturday morning to make sure that the truck was out of the shop and everything was fixed on it. Joe told me again that it was and everything was set for us to come up there. He said that he was actually present for the maintenance being done, and made sure that it was all fixed. We went up there and the salesman came straight out and brought us the keys to the truck to test drive. He told us that there was a metal rod that was broken off and was rubbing making the squealing noise. (Completely different story than Joe had told us). We test drove it and put it in 4 wheel drive. After taking it out of 4 wheel drive, the back end locked up. We brought it back and took the salesman with us to an adjacent parking lot to show him what was happening. He agreed that something was wrong. We took it back to the dealership and he went in to get Joe. Joe was short with us, ignored the salesman and got in the truck and drove it to the same parking lot. The back in locked up on him as well. He continued testing it out for a few more minutes and brought it back and told us that something was definitely wrong with it and it was getting worse. It was now locking up with out putting it in and back out of 4 wheel drive. He had no other vehicles that could work for us and had nothing to say about the enormous inconvenience this had been. When we told him that that this was a terrible experience, all he could say was that he understood. Time wasted in driving: 6 hours Time wasted at the dealership: 2 1/2 hours Miles driven: 292.8 The "general manager"/ owner/ inventory procurer has no basic business knowledge. The salesmen have no knowledge of the general mechanics of a car. The service department is clearly flawed when a vehicle goes through their department numerous times and put back on the lot with major mechanical failures. They are not fully inspecting vehicles when they get them in before putting them on their lot to sale. Not only was this a waste of time for my wife and I, but this was an enormous amount of time spent in the car for our children as well. More importantly than the waste of time, these people were willing to put my family at risk trying to sell us the 2 vehicles with major mechanical failures. I would not recommend anyone go to this dealership. In fact, I would recommend that this business be shut down. read more

I liked Celeste in customer service at first, when she was very friendly during my first two visits in there. But the service tech who did my work the last time didn't do all the things he should have. To change the coil, plugs, and wires in my van they removed the hood. When the job was completed, the mechanic didn't reconnect my windshield washer supply tubes at all. I couldn't figure out how to do it, and had to drive 45 miles back to the dealer to have it fixed. I know little things get missed, ok - it happens, but I was not happy. So when I complained to Celeste that the worker had failed to properly reconnect everything he took loose, she could have cared less. I also told her that 'good service' should include bothering to air up the nearly flat tire I had when I pulled in (I had told her the low tire light was on) Her excuse was: "we didn't tell him about that." THAT IS RIDICULOUS. So overall they had absolutely no concern about their mistakes at all, and pretty much acted like it was my fault. It didn't matter that I had to return to the dealer to have THEIR mistake corrected. And when I got there I was treated like I was a bother - especially by the customer service department - for bringing it to their attention. I PAID ALMOST $700 total to Morristown Ford for this simple job, cause I wanted it done right. Little did I know that it would be done poorly, with a simple thing like a low tire completely ignored, and the vehicle not returned to me without things being checked out by the mechanic AND customer service. Sold me a lemon. Stated it had a safety check and the rotors and brakes were shot. Also ball bearings and shocks. And drivers door won't open or unlock. I am a disabled woman who lives by herself. I can't afford to fix and make payments. Only had auto 3 weeks and now they want to charge me over one thousand dollars to fix. How sad. My family went on a trip to Texas in October of 2015. We had the transmission go out near Morristown so ended up at this dealer for repairs. When I found out it was the Tranny I decided to just buy a new truck while I was there but try as hard as I did the sales team thought I was screwed and had no choice but to buy one so they would not deal at all. Well I said screw it and had the great service guys order me a new tranny and to get me a rental and that I would stop on my way back from Texas for the truck. Stopped back and sure enough the truck was done. It was closing time but they still took care of us and when we left and had a small issue with the driveshaft striking a plate a mechanic who was in the shop after closing opened up and took care of it. Since it was a Friday this was greatly appreciated. This store was recently sold and now has new owners. BEWARE! I responded to an online advertisement for a truck. The price was the lowest within 200 miles and this was only a 3.5 hour drive, so I came to buy the truck. Since I had previously financed a Ford before, I qualified for an additional $1500 in rebates. The dealership did cash in my rebate, but did not give me the discount on my sale price. I had to pay the advertised price. Also, I was sold a $4000 extended warranty that I did not want or agree to. Now I am fighting to get my money back. read more

This is the second time that we have been overcharged by the service department. An oil change, fuel filter & air filter took over 4 hours to get done even with an appointment. Even though we have Ford's Premium service plan (which covers oil changes, tire rotation, all filters, etc...) we were still charged nearly $200 for 2 filters. Confirmed with them that we have the premium plan but they still charged us even though the pamphlet shows filters are covered. Even after talking to Bill the Service Manager - we did not get this resolved. The next day I called back and he said I was right and he would send me a check. Really. Still waiting for him to look into the first charge from 3 months ago. We will not be going back, we will drive farther to go to a different dealer. read more

I had my oil changed here on my truck. I had not had any issues. Just a regular oil change. When I left and drove it home oil was pouring out on my driveway. This was on a Friday. I took it back today and he said the plug was not a Ford plus and it had been put on crooked or corked. The idiots did not put the plug back on correctly. read more

I brought a F150 last year and this dealership knew from the start that the engine was messed up. 2 days later we took it back up there and they let it sit for over 1 1/2 months and we called ever day and the only thing they did was give a rental and then after we got it back it still gave us problems and the transmission started to go out of it and im in this thing 17,000 and now thanks to them screw me over we are having to go through bankruptcy thanks joe the manger owner read more
