Very unhappy with my experience. Quoted me one price then doubled it when I showed up to get my car. He made go buy the material myself as well. When I asked him how he got his labor price, he completely made up the numbers: "my guys worked on your car for four weeks at $75 an hour". When I told him that comes to $13,500, he didn't know what to say. Lied to me constantly and gave me poor quality work as well. Look at the zipper that was installed on each seat. Morro worked very hard to find matching fabric for my headliner and did an outstanding job, looks better than the original fabric! First off, I want to mention Morro is the nicest person you'll ever meet. I've been looking for a reputable shop to replace the hazy and torn rear vinyl window on my convertible top for a while. Most shops wanted an arm and a leg. And others didn't seem like they were trustworthy. When I first walked into Morro's shop, I knew I came to the right place. He greeted me warmly and listened carefully to my needs. He showed me around the shop and his previous work to make me feel comfortable trusting my car with him. I was happy that he quoted me a fair price and scheduled an appointment for the following week. After dropping off the car, Morro called and texted me pictures of mold that was growing inside my headliner. He apologized and asked for an extra day to clean and disinfect it. He also called to tell me the rain water drains were clogged and he would be cleaning it all out for me. Without me asking, he took the extra time to do these favors for me. Even though it took a couple extra days, I was really happy with the professionalism and service I received. My headliner and rain water drains were completely cleaned. And the vinyl window was installed flawlessly with quality parts and stitching. Morro can get overwhelmed with work because he's a great craftsman, but his communication is clear and honest. I ended up paying him a little extra (which he strongly refused to take but I insisted he did) and promised to be back to have him make me a new shifter boot. He said he was looking forward to showing me his work again. There are a lot of nightmare stories with auto shops out there. I had a broken back rest on my driver's seat. I must have called 7 places before deciding to go to Morro. He was very honest when evaluating the damage. Told me he would be willing to fix it but could not guarantee the work due to the extensive damage. He then explained that it might be cheaper to just find a replacement. Instead of leaving me to hunt a seat down, he decided to make some calls and find one for me. After picking up the seat, he installed it for a reasonable price. I chose this shop because of the positive reviews. Based on my experience I would not recommend this business and I definitely will never come back. I was simply trying to get my arm rest reupholstered on my E36 M3. The owner asked me if I wanted it done in black, the existing color. I confirmed that I wanted it black. The next day I go to pick up the car and the arm rest is light gray. I asked why he changed the color and he said some bs about the lighting. He agreed to change it to black. The following day I go to pick up the car and he used a dark gray(the rest of the console is black). I don't know if this man is just stupid or maybe he thinks I am stupid but when I am paying for something I have a right to have it done in the color I choose. Maybe he was trying to get rid of some gray leather, I have no idea. The price was reasonable and I just cut my loses. This was a terrible experience. Like dealing with the Three Stooges. read more

Came in to Morros with two different door panels wanting something removed from one of the panels and moved over to the other... with out hesitation he said no problem.... I'd had been to another shop prior and was told their tech would use silicone to adhere my panels together. I asked if Morro planned on using silicone and he told me no... never, I know from working in the industry I work that silicone should not be used as an adhesive. 100% flawless job done by Morros love the work and at a very good price. The headliner on my GTO had been sagging for a couple of years now and I didn't mind too much until it decided to fall completely and rest right on top of my head. So I looked around for an upholstery shop and came across this one on Yelp. I have had work done at other shops and they were good, but they were either super expensive or they're shops were super crowded in a terrible locations. I decided to try this one and I'm glad I did because he redid my headliner in suede for a reasonable price and got my car back in one day. Morro's Work is Spectacular! After the convertible top of my Jaguar was sliced open by a thief I read the reviews and chose Morro to replace the roof. Replacing a convertible is not easy. And when Morro couldn't get actual Jag parts, he made them himself. New roof, new headliner. I asked him to replace my torn up hood liner with Hawaiian print fabric I I had purchased in Hawaii. Others had said it was too thin and the glue would sop through.
