My husband had a custom seat done from Ramon less than a year ago and only put about 400 miles since the seat was done! Already showing signs of wear and tear when the bike barely gets ridden and when stored, it's always in the garage and covered! The bike has NEVER been in rain!!! Love the seat and the work Ramon did. Just think it is an issue with the material used. When speaking to Ramon, he said the manufacturer said there's nothing wrong with the leather. So instead of trying to come up with a solution or work with my husband, he just washed his hands and said there's nothing he can do. Got very defensive as my husband wasn't blaming him he was just making a point of the material that was poor quality!! There was even showing signs of wear in areas no one sits on. Ramon kept putting the blame on my husband and asked why he didn't bring the bike in sooner. My husband explained that it was winter, that he hasn't ridden in about five months so he had no idea the seat looked that way until we took it for a ride !!! Again my husband loves the seat. Just not loving Ramon's response and the lack of support from him to even help out. So now he has to go find another shop and spend another 1,000 to have the seat redone with better leather. Although the job was done professionally and right, the owner neglected to inform me from the start that he only takes cash for payment. I would not have used this business if I had known that upfront. I seen his work on a couple motorcycles and had to drive up a couple hours to visit him. Once I got there Ramon the owner showed me around and let me try a couple seats on my 2020 Harley-Davidson Street Glide Special to make sure I could custom order whatever I wanted. After about thirty minutes we came up with a custom design and less then a week he called letting me know it was done. Put in on and road three hours back to San Diego and absolutely loved it. I bought a Mustang Super Touring Seat and it was to tall and wasn't very comfortable and the stock seat just needed to be a little softer and moved back a little since I'm 6' 2". Very happy with the job Ramon did on the drivers seat for my 2000 Toyota Solara, which had pretty much self-destructed. He expertly matched the dark charcoal color, did the perforations of the center part of the seat, and re-positioned the seat belt guide.
