Rocky was hard to get a hold of, but I'm glad I was persistant. I won't bore you with the details, but Rocky has been the best of the four septic install, repair and/or cleaning service. When we got our new home inspected (before closing) they noted that there was some problems with one of the tanks. They gave us several options, each of which were geared around saving us some $$s but still doing great work. We chose to run a septic line the length of our back driveway to the furthest septic system (part of our metal shop). They were super quick with doing the work and did a great job putting the driveway back into great shape (gravel). I am having them back out for another small job. Happy with their work. The only challenge with them is they are really, really busy so sometimes you have to make a few calls to get them scheduled. read more

From the minute we called into the company, Kelly was very helpful in providing education about Septic Systems and went above and beyond to send me information about our home from when it was serviced right before we bought the place. To be fair, Morton seems very knowledgeable and may be a good choice for a new system or for someone who just wants to write a check and isn't interested in the details. I asked for someone to come out and inspect my system and make a repair/replacement recommendation. The promised callback didn't happen. Finally I called and reached someone knowledgeable, The answer was "you need to do x, y, and z and it will cost $1200. When do you want us to start?" Now maybe "x, y and z" are, indeed, the correct actions, but I'd like an actual inspection first. If you're an engaged homeowner who's is suddenly faced with a failing septic system and need some unbiased professional advise (and maybe some reassurance), consider other options. read more

I highly recommend Morton Septic Service. My husband and I have been in the process of building a new house on my parents' property. The county was difficult in regard to the set-up for our septic system. Rocky and his team helped us every step of the way. When we contacted them, they responded quickly (either by phone or via email). They also came out quickly to do the work. They were consistently professional and always arrived on time. All that said, what impressed me most about Rocky was that he went above and beyond to help us. Early in our process, the county was going to require a perc test on our property that would cost about $6,000. Rocky didn't know why this test would be necessary since we already have a septic system on the property (for the existing house) that functions perfectly well. He talked to the representative from the county, and he got him to agree to do a soil profile test instead of the full perc test. He didn't have to take this extra step and stand up for us--we would have paid Morton far more money to do the perc test. Instead, he saved us about $5,000. Throughout our building process, we appreciated Rocky and his team--they were helpful and efficient during a stressful time. read more

I called Morton Septic to do an inspection on the septic system. I'll give them points for showing up at a hard to find location and showing up on time. BUT...the amount they quoted me on the phone for the inspection and amount I ended up having to pay were $500 different! Beware...they'll tell you their inspection fee is just $200 bucks but then they mysteriously add on various other pumping fees and time to find your tank (though I told them where it was). You have to pump to inspect, from my understanding, so why should I suddenly have to pay extra for that? And on top of that, the guy who came out had no useful insight into how I might repair/replace the septic system. Basically shrugged, packed up his hoses, and left. read more

Salomon was the driver who came to pump out my tank. He was polite, professional, and most importantly, knows exactly what's he was doing. He and his partner took about 5 minutes to locate my septic tank, another 30 mins to dig down to the two access cover and was done pumping all the sludge out in another 30 mins. Salomon also spent some time explaining what he's doing and about the condition of my septic tank and leech field. Good service, I'll be calling them again in a few years for another clean out. read more
