Stopped here this morning for soap, water and orange juice. The market has most anything you're looking for at a slight premium given your location. Staff were friendly, all were staying busy cleaning and stocking even though it was slow. Well maintained shop. They have small produce section, nonperishables, beverages including alcohol, cleaning supplies and personal care items. You can likely find anything you're in need of here. read more

A Suburbanite like me notices: You get 20 minutes parking. That's what happens when you're in an overcrowded area, and non-grocery-shopping people abuse parking privileges. Great selections of food, wine, beer, and household items in a small but nicely laid out place. Produce nice and fresh, love the cut up fruit! Staff super nice, polite, and above and beyond helpful! Try to avoid the unpleasant check out woman who refuses to take items from the hand basket, doesn't want to touch reusable bags, and packs bags starting with bananas on the bottom of heavy stuff. This local market is very close to where we are staying. I went in early to avoid any crowds. The staff there is so friendly. They have most of what you could possibly want--fresh produce, convenience foods, household items, fresh meats, bakery items, and a deli service counter. They have plenty of beer and wine. Most of their food is geared towards fresh stuff, so there is not a ton of frozen food options (they do have frozen pizzas). The cashier clued me in to an offer where I would get $10 off my bill, even though I am not a local, regular customer. Even though there are big box grocery stores not too far, I really enjoy the smaller venue, and the service with a smile feeling they have here. read more

Bought three different flavor chicken salads, all were awful. They didn't cut the chicken up small enough to be even bite size, most pieces were so large that after cutting them up ourselves there wasn't enough sauce to coat. I expect someone with an ounce of culinary aptitude to be at this high end market? read more

A really awful market, with limited selection, bad produce, unresponsive customer service and huge markups. It's like a large 7-11 or gas station in terms of the quality of its products. read more

We are in Coronavirus lockdown at our rental house in Siesta Key and really appreciate this little market. They have a deli and butcher - and a little bit of everything else. We have been able to supplement our needs here after our main Publix shopping. Things are more expensive but worth the convenience. They have sanitizing wipes at the door and daily newspapers. In house bakery goods keep our sweet cravings satisfied. We had some great beef tenderloin filets! Gotta appreciate the mom and pop stores during this crisis. A gift shop (now temporarily closed) and a liquor store on the premises. The parking lot bouncer keeps those pesky beach goers from taking up the few parking spaces available that are reserved for shoppers. Support the local businesses. They are there for us in our time of need. read more

I could give them a 5 star rating based on their black and white cookies alone! We definitely became addicted to them during our stay in Siesta Key and our party of 10 bought a collective 6 boxes over the week we were there. The store was always clean and cool, which was a nice break from the heat. The employees were helpful as well! Extremely rude closed minded staff. I purchased a considerable amount of groceries here on this visit and while I was checking out I sent my wife over to Davidson's Pharmacy to pick up a prescription for my son to save time. The Clerk "CY" told me I would have to drive over and could not leave the car in their lot and wait for my wife to come back. (For probably less than 5 minutes). I am down here twice a year for a few weeks and frequent Morton's a few times during my time on Siesta Key. I will never return there again extremely rude unintelligent woman. Unappreciative staff. Look, I know this isn't Publix, but on Siesta Key it is as close to being a Publix as you will find. They have Boardshead meats, beer, wine, all the food you need for you vacation visit. The staff was friendly and I know it is expensive, 5.99 for a bag of pirate booty, but really? Do I need another 3.5 miles to save a few bucks? As for pets, the sign days specifically, no pets. I suspect any one rejected claiming to have a service dog would be one of those idiots who get a fake medical prescription from a quack. If you need quick supplies, then this is the place to go. read more

We went in to buy a deck of cards. We were greeted by a really friendly and funny guy. He cracked jokes and was really helpful. Through our short visit there they had very nice customer service. While checking out we were also given free bracelets for Siesta Key! read more

I came in here to look around and see what was available and after seeing some of the prices, looking around was all that I did in here. The prices on some items are ridiculous and some items are fair at best. Alcohol prices are a little pricey and your best bet is walking a few hundred yards toward the Circle K down the street. If you need something right away and don't care about cost then this is the right spot. It is very convenient and they have tons of items and inventory. It's not a place where I would go grocery shopping at, but a few items won't break the bank. If a sports arena happened to be in the grocery store business, this would be the closest thing to it. read more

I usually never leave bad reviews but this place left a bad taste in my mouth. My review is based solely on my experience there today. Walked in with my boyfriend with tiny drawstring bags carrying our beach towels. A man immediately approaches us in a very unfriendly manner saying "NO BAGS - did you NOT READ THE SIGN?" He then proceeded to bring us toward the sign which we, unfortunately, missed and did not see. We were taken aback and were being very polite but the man was EXTREMELY rude and continued to berate us for not reading a sign that we had accidentally not seen. He told us we could leave our bags at the front which we then decided the market wasn't worth our time so we left and what was funny is that the man seemed happy that we were leaving. Morton's Gourmet Market, based on other reviews pointing out your rude staff, how about get a new friendly staff that treats your customers with a nice warm and friendly welcome? read more

Friendly staff. Outstanding selection of healthy food choices and ready-to-eat fare. Beer, wine, mixers also available with good diversity. Always a tremendous variety of fresh fruits, veggies, meats and cheeses. So glad this place is here. You can get in and out in no time at all and ride your bike instead of driving. read more

Love this place.. our third year coming to siesta key and we seem to need provisions hear at least once a day if not more. It's small and overpriced, but it's just so convenient and they have quality goods. Not too mention the super friendly and helpful staff. Definitely a staple in the middle of the village. read more

Hurray! Morton's is on Siesta Key. It still looks more like the old market than like the real Morton's, but the service is truly Morton's and the meats are and the soups are and the quiche is...bakery-no, deli-sort of, sea food-marginal, prices-yup-must be Morton's. Come on customers. Get over there and help the place succeed. We deserve a market this good and they are improving every day. read more
