Wow! I had never been here before, but we trusted a friend recommendation and came for our anniversary. I am so happy we did! Jaime met us at the door, greeted us enthusiastically, and as soon as he saw it was our anniversary, congratulated us warmly. He asked if we preferred a booth or table, and sat us at a prime, corner booth. He also happened to be the bartender and was quickly back with our drinks. The room is lovely! The booth was comfortable, and lighting was perfect. Angie was our server. She told us she had been working there "forever," and it is clear why. She is amazing! She also is celebrating her 25th anniversary this year, and we shared funny stories of being married so long. She came back with a camera to take our picture, which she framed with a note wishing us a happy 25th. Not long after, Michael, the manager, came to wish us well and ask how he could make the dinner more special. I have never been treated so well anywhere! Angie had appetizers out quickly, checked on us often, but expressed not to rush-we could stay all night. We both had excellent tuna appetizers, steaks were cooked to perfection, and his Cajun ribeye was the best he ever had. That says a lot for my steak-loving husband! We shared a chocolate lava cake for dessert, and it was a taste of heaven! It was a milestone day for us, and the staff at Morton's made us feel like it was a milestone for them, too. Thank you! Went here for New Year's Eve at 8pm and it was quite busy. Had to wait around 20-25 minutes despite having a reservation. I understand they were busy, but there was no where to sit at the bat making the wait more difficult. Allergy/nutrition wise I could not find much information on their website. The scallops appetizer was originally made with butter, but the waiter was able to request it be made with oil. Brussel sprouts were sautéed in animal fat. I believe pork fat with little pieces in bacon in there. I am not vegetarian, but wanted to not the lack of details in their ingredients of the food. Make sure to ask the waiter for specific food restrictions if necessary. They seem knowledgeable, but so little info is on the menu you need to ask the waiter. When I said I could not have dairy I was offended a dairy free menu. I am also gluten and egg free, but honestly our waiter was so busy tonight I did not feel confident asking about all my food sensitivities since they are not life threatening, and I can handle a little. Food was overall very good, but they were clearly overwhelmed by how busy they were for New Year's. I would love to try again when it is not so busy. read more

My husband and I came here for the first time on our 2nd wedding anniversary last month, and we had such a positive experience and first impression. When we walked in, the nicest hostess greeted us at the door. We were seated right away because it was pretty slow on the night we went, but we also had reservations. Quickly, we realized how beautiful the restaurant's dining room is; there are beautiful large chandeliers, extremely comfortable high-back chairs, and gold, black, and silver color splashes in the interior decor. Honestly, it had some Great Gatsby vibes and I loved it. It has an elegant atmosphere, yet I still felt comfortable there and not out of place. When we were seated at our table, our waitress was amiable. We received anniversary-labeled menus, and she asked us if it was the first time we visited, which it was. As a result, she gave us some great recommendations and told us about the night's specials. Throughout our meal, she consistently checked in on us and she was very complimentary of how we looked and were dressed since we were dressed up, which made me feel great! I cannot say enough great things about her, and I wish I could remember her name! She even gave us a complimentary dessert of our choice because of our anniversary. We had the chocolate lava cake (normally $15) and it was so soft and deliciously rich. It even comes with some vanilla ice cream served on the same plate. We ended up ordering a Caesar salad ($13) to share, so they brought us the salad split onto two separate plates. It was delicious, and everything was fresh. The dressing tasted homemade, too. We also received complimentary bread and butter. You do have to cut the bread yourself, but it was delicious sourdough. My favorite! For dinner, I ordered the seasonal ora king salmon ($39), and it was cooked perfectly and melted in my mouth with every bite. It came with spinach and shiitake mushrooms on the side, all infused together on the plate with a delicious mustard gravy. Everything on that plate had absolutely amazing texture and had a perfect flavor. My husband ordered the filet and lobster tail combo ($65) and he definitely enjoyed it. He thought it had a taste that you would expect from a high-end steakhouse. We also ended up sharing an au gratin potatoes side ($16) and they melted in your mouth. They had a perfect texture and cheesy flavor, and I will definitely order them again. Overall, we will 100% be back here because of our great first impression of Morton's. The nice thing also is that we live like 5 minutes away, so it is convenient; however, I liked it so much that even if it wasn't so close, I would still choose to come here for a nice dinner. read more

This location is the absolute best! Mario, in the bar, takes care of his patrons like they are kings and queens. He recognizes you, and knows your preferences, and is always there with a smile. This old school steakhouse does it right. Their RibEye is to die for. Here is my bread complaint: They don't cut it. The tables are small, and there are wine and water glasses, salad plates, etc. The bread is on a saucer smaller than the loaf so there isn't a flat cutting board situation. One of the guests has to put their hands all over everyone else's bread and they usually end up squeezing and deforming it. Bread crumbs end up EVERYWHERE. It's just not ideal. You will find this is an ongoing complaint and I am campaigning to change this practice of not cutting or partially cutting the sourdough in upscale establishments. Went for New Years Eve- had a 545pm reservation. We were seated promptly and the restaurant was about 50% full. Server (missed name) asked what drinks we would like before we had looked at the drink list. We then waited a long time for his return but were given water. The set NYE menu was just ok, the chosen sides looked mass produced which was understandable. The server seemed distracted and his attention to detail (clear the finished plates) was missing. My husband and I have a gift card for sometime for Morton's and we finally decided to use it. We went on a Sunday late afternoon, when they opened for Bar Bites. Service was excellent. We were immediately greeted when we walked in and Our server was fantastic , personable and helpful. We started with the complimentary onion bread. The bread was hot, fresh and so good. The onion was not overpowering. We started with the Shrimp Louie Wedge Bites. The lettuce was so fresh and crisp and the shrimp were tender. The dressing added just a slight kick. We also had the Petite Filet Mignon Sandwiches. Four sandwiches with tender well seasoned filet mignon. We also tried the Prime Burger Sliders. The sandwiches were served on fresh brioche buns. During Power Hour, which is offered on Sundays they have drink specials , I had the Lemon Drop and my husband had the Good Fashioned. The Bar bite experience is definately worth it. Morton's The Steakhouse blew me away! My boyfriend took me here for a Valentine's Day dinner and I fell in love with this steakhouse. The actual restaurant is downstairs - after you check in with the host, they take you downstairs to be seated. There is some room upstairs but it's more of a bar area. The downstairs was beautiful and huge with a big open kitchen to the side. Our server was soooo great! I didn't catch her name but she was beyond helpful, sweet, and always came to check on us. She gave us her recommendations since we told her it was our first time there. The food was of the highest quality I've ever had. We got complimentary onion bread with soft butter to start. This alone was 10/10! We ordered the New York strip steak, King Ora salmon, brussels sprouts, and parmesan truffle fries. The salmon was pan-seared so beautifully and it just melted in your mouth. We barely finished our food we were so full! Everything was delicious. Most of the food was excellent and the waiter was very, very nice but my husband had a steak with béarnaise sauce and he said it was one of the worst he ever had. He was glad he didn't pour it on his steak. Unfortunately, getting béarnaise sauce is his favorite thing about going out to an upscale restaurant so it sort of made made the experience meal run of the mill. The mortini was well made & extra dirty just like i like it. We had the crabcake to start & it was tasty and came with an arugula & red onion salad. My time at Mortons was by far one of the best meals I spent in a very long time. We went for a college graduation me and my girlfriend in the past have been to the other steak houses in the Schaumburg area and have been extremely disappointed, so taking a risk on a new place was something big to us. At the end of the day when you are spending this kind of money it needs to be perfect. Anyone can cook a steak but how is the service? At Morton's it was without question one of the best encounters I have had in a very long time. Now of course the food did it as well, I enjoyed their red wine on the steak and felt like it added some good flavor, their potatoes were to die for as well. Morton's is consistently excellent! I have eaten here several times and have never been disappointed. They start you out with the perfect onion seasoned breaded, warmed to perfection. On my last visit I had the 8oz Filet medium which was perfect. For sides I select the creamed spinach and mash potatoes. This is my go to restaurant when in Schaumburg IL. I normally take my clients and fellow workers here when in the Chicago area. No matter what Morton's you visit, you will never be disappointed! More recent visit, our server Jonathan was very attentive, liquids were never half empty, and had great tie breaker suggestions. Started with Wagyu meatballs, make sure to grab some extra bread to dip with the sauce. Went with chopped salad (reminds me of Portillo's chop salad). After debating finally decided to go with medium/rare prime center ribeye, was not disappointed!!! I had to save room for dessert, boxes half the meat. Ordered the sundae which had Carmel/hot fudge drizzle with vanilla ice cream (mountain of whipped cream on top), dessert special (takes bout 10 minutes to prep). O almost forget, the birthday boy went with the hot lava cake, takes about 20 minutes to prepare but eaten under 2 minutes!!! The private event room was gorgeously decorated and ALL the food, staff and event Manager checked in with all the tables of guests and at one point I saw her even helping the wait staff with some of the serving. I had a gift card for this place sitting in my purse for over 2 years. We randomly decided to use it about a month ago. When we walked in there was a commotion at the front where we got pushed to the side. We were ignored for a few minutes and finally someone noticed we hadn't been greeted. Shortly after that we were seated at a large round table/booth. We already knew what we wanted to order but our waiter insisted on reading the menu to us. Unfortunately he was not knowledgeable at all when we did have questions about anything. This is what we ordered: Golden Pineapple Cocktail Island Bessie cocktail KC dry aged ribeye Prime ribeye We were both pretty disappointed with our steaks. They weren't cooked very well and the quality of the meat did not seem anywhere worth the price. The cocktails were ok overall. I don't want to be too harsh because of the state of the world right now and maybe getting quality product isn't as accessible as before. However I do feel like the way the steaks were cooked and the knowledge of the menu from the waiter can be improved no matter what. read more

Last night we celebrated my mom's 96th and my son's 33rd birthdays there. For starters, our server Anna was FANTASTIC! We had a time mixup and most of the party was going to be an hour late. she made the two there welcome and comfortable without any issues while they waited. She also was attentive, quick, accommodating, and made the birthdays extra special by taking our group picture and having it printed and ready for us in photo frame folders and special menus printed with the birthday names on them. 1st I will say we have been here a couple times and food and service was great(even during covid) however we went on a Friday night and the service wasn't great the food was even worse in fairness some was good. Ordered 4 steaks medium and 1 medium well. 2 were cooked perfect the medium well came out medium 1 came out rare and 1 medium rare. We asked for the rare one to be cooked longer and 2nd time it came out it was still rare somehow at that point it's in 3 different pieces and we asked if we could get a new steaks and they butterflied a filet and it was so disappointing and the texture was just off. Besides that the sides were meh nothing to write home about. The desserts which we have loved in the past were also very blah. The manager did comp the steak that only had 3 bites taken out of it so that was nice but we were just very disappointed overall and the waiter was very slow and the restaurant wasn't even busy. The vibe is upscale and the food is delicious. I'm not a huge steak person but my husband is so my go to is the crab cakes or the Chicken Christopher. Both are very good. We celebrated my husband's birthday here and it was a Michelin Star experience! Everything was perfect. Over the top service from server Jonathan and manager Michael. Had quick delivery of the weekend steak and lobster special. We split one order. The lobster was a generous portion and tasted fresh. Lobster butter also tasty. The steak was cooked nicely and we just popped it in the over at 400 for a minute of two to serve it warm. We never got the small rolls shown in there photo and the pricy add-on cognac pepper sauce was a disappointment. Just melt some butter on the steak.
