    Lunch for 2

Delicious lunch!! Service was spectacular and entrees reasonably priced and I left full! I had the chowder and strip steak. Medium rare is more on rare side but was excellent, fries stole the show! Crispy and delicious...I also got a cup of fabulous chowdah!! Can't beat all that food for $28. H had the bisque (loved it) and salad - it looked so good she took a pic first, and had enough to take home. And, did I say service was spectacular- it was!

Busy on Valentine's Day, but to be expected. Slower service but food was good. Would try and come back on a less busy day and hopefully be seated in the main area.

This is our favorite place when going out to celebrate special occasions. The moody vibes of the dining room, the impeccable service and Our food is always cooked to perfection.

We had the best time at Capital Grille in Schaumburg for my Fiancé's birthday. The staff was amazing! Micheal at the bar was so fun to chat with while waiting for our table. Nicole was our server and she really brought to menu to life and was so accommodating. We can't wait to come back soon. Every dish was to die for. The cutely decorated the table for the birthday theme. They brought out complimentary champagne with dessert. Loved every moment! We will definitely be back to see Michael and Nicole again asap!!! (Also sorry Nicole! I do not know Scott and Amy my Dad says we are not related LOL).

This place took care of us! We came here for a team meeting dinner. They got us a private room with a big round table - so we were able to see each other. PERFECT! SERVICE: Fabulous service from the bar where we waited to be seated, and then from the restaurant servers....very friendly, informational and attentive! FOOD: YUM. We all enjoyed our 11 dinners and drinks. (Sorry, did not take enough pictures) but, trust me, they all looked great and tasted great! If I have another team meeting we will definitely be using Capital Grille again. Thank You!

Me and my husband stopped here to try out north west suburbs Restaurant Week. Since we normally don't go to a restaurant like this this was kind of an opportunity to try out and see if they were any good. The service there was phenomenal and even showed us an iPad that had a nice visual and descriptions of their cocktails, their wines, and after dinner drinks. It really did help choosing a cocktail. My husband had a black tie Margarita And I had a Negroni Bianco. Those two cocktails were honestly a nice way to start off the experience. Afterwards we went to our first course I had the New England clam chowder and my husband had a wedge salad( I forgot to take a photo of it). Then we both tried the Kona New York strip it was the most tender piece of meat I've had in a bit. And for dessert we both had the espresso flourless chocolate cake that honestly I didn't even think about taking a photo until after I left the( it was just too good). We also had a cappuccino with our dessert. Everything came out in a timely manner and I believe the general manager did stop by to check on how we were doing so that was a nice table touch. The whole place feels a little bit odd in the sense of it's very dark and slightly ominous. All in all we might want to try this place again and see what else this place has to offer because everything was better than expected

A friend selected this restaurant to meet up for dinner while traveling in IL. I'm so glad that she did! The service, ambiance, and food were superb! Not pictured were oysters that others loved, but not my thing. I prefer them charbroiled (New Orleans). However, the server recommended them and everyone that eats raw oysters loved them. He also recommended the African lobster and steak and it was delicious. The lobster was more tender than usual and the flavor was sweet. The steak wasn't the best that I've had, but good (I'd order it again). We ordered a selection of desserts to share and they were all pretty good. Though some of us didn't really care for cheesecake, this one surprised us. We loved the brûlée top and the ricotta and cream cheese filling made it really fluffy and delightful to eat. Absolutely no complaints from our table at all! A little pricey, but an overall fantastic experience!

My husband and I centered our for a date night last Friday. Everything was wonderful. The tables were all full and the dining room had a nice buzz to it. Our waiter was attentive and gave us all of the information we needed to order. Both steaks were cooked perfectly and we were so full we couldn't finish the mashed potatoes we ordered. We each also got cocktails that were tasty and not overly alcohol or sweet tasting. A good mix.

We have capital Grille back East, but they can't shake a stick at this place. The food was better. The decor was better. The service was better. The fried calamari with hot peppers Lobster mac & cheese Grilled glazed salmon I was at first disappointed when my cohort chose this place because I was thinking oh I can get this back home. But you can't. Not like this.

This is unexpectedly a great steakhouse! I was skeptical of going here as it's a National Chain, so I initially I had my bias'. ... Bread basket, nice start to the meal. The cheese & onion bread was my fave, followed by the bread roll. Steak (NY Strip boneless) was great, charred on the outside and flavorful, topped with crusted bleu cheese. Lobster Mac n Cheese - quite possibly the star of the show! I'm usually not big on this type of dish, though, other reviews encouraged me to try it. One word - Phenomenal! Note: When ordering I did ask for extra cook time to ensure of a crusted top.. #ChefsKiss Hubby had - 18oz bone in NY Strip (Parmesan crusted) with Au Gratin potatoes, it looked amazing and he loved every bit of both. Service - our waitress was nice and attentive. She wasn't very personable but she was a great at service. Overall we left stuffed with plenty of leftovers, we'll return......

Great location for a private event! Our party reserved the back room for a surprise 70th. The staff was very attentive to all of our needs. Food was outstanding as well! I enjoyed the caramelized onion bread that came in the bread basket! Oysters were smooth and flavorful. For entrees, we had the tuna and veal. Both were delicious. Beware of truffle fries because they are addictive!!

I have been a fan of Capitol Grill for many many years & yes, it is a chain. There are many locations with slightly different menus, some are way better than others. However, each location offers nationally renowned dry-aged steaks, fresh quality seafood & acclaimed world-class wines. Moi used to work in the Chrysler building so i'm a big fan of two of the NYC locations. The Chrysler Building, home to The Capital Grille, in its ultra deco design, gleaming, seven-story glass & steel pyramid is unlike anything in the big Apple & one of the most unique dining settings anywhere. Fabulous OuiOui. The wall-street location is also completely fabulous. A somewhat hidden treasure in the historic Equitable Building, what was once a mighty bank vault is now the highly coveted Calloway Room. The perfect space for a very special celebration. Moi all time fave celebratory Restaurants. This location in Chicago is very pretty & has great service. Not quite as good as moi fave NYC locations but it's definitely worth a visit. We had steak & lobsters as usual. This location was offering African Lobsters, a la carte, so we decided to try them, side by side, with the Maine Lobsters. The Maine Lobsters were full lobster's WITH CLAWS that came on "The Grand Plateau seafood tower" We ordered both. The Grand Plateau was the clear Winner as the Maine Lobsters were way better in flavor compared to the African Lobsters. Moi prefers the claw meat also. Maine Lobster is just better all around. The steak dusted in the porchini mushroom was very good. Mashed Potatoes were sublime. The best we have ever had. The salads were also good. We tried all 3 & the clear winner was the beet salad. We don't know what happened to the side of spinach it was horrific. No one ate it. We also ordered the creme brûlée & flourless dark chocolate cake. Both were excellent. Sorry I did not get to take photos of the dessert as my phone charge was dead by then. However, the creme brûlée was sublime & the clear winner of the two. An excellent time was had by all. A excellent celebratory restaurant indeed. Adding to my list of Fave Steakhouses. Highly Recommend.

What's the average cost for two persons for my birthday?

I spent around $240 with tip. Then again I eat a lot and each dish is a la carte. This included drinks.

We had almost 60 people at our party. Hillary was very helpful during the whole time as well as the two bartenders that were working our party. They have a microphone and plenty of tables for your use. They even supply centerpieces for all the tables. They have a beautiful patio as well that the attendees could walk outside and relax there as well. I really enjoyed the fact that I could connect my phone wirelessly to their speaker system so I can play music during the party. They also have music of their own that they provide as well. There were so many compliments from the attendees on the ambience andthe food quality! While the day ended on a positive note thanks to some incredible staff members, the management and initial service were deeply disappointing. Despite having a reservation confirmed three weeks in advance and receiving a confirmation call that same morning, our party was not seated until 4:30 PM for a 4:00 PM booking. My husband and I checked in with the host starting at 3:55 PM, only to receive vague, dismissive responses like 'we're working on it.' Worse, the host displayed an unprofessional attitude, stating 'I have already told you in a few minutes' and was seen talking to other hosts about how upset our group was. When I finally spoke with a manager, Don M., his response was unsettling. Rather than apologizing for the 30-minute delay, he simply told me 'I am not kicking you out,' which felt incredibly unprofessional and dismissive for a milestone celebration. After we were seated, Don M. never returned to check on us or acknowledge the delay. Fortunately, Assistant Manager Luis Martinez and our servers, Marco and Georgina, completely saved the day. Luis came to our table to check on us personally, and Marco and Georgina were excellent, accommodating our large group's orders perfectly. If it weren't for their professional care of Luis, Marco and Georgina, I would not return to this location."

While my past visit may have varied, this experience was absolutely fantastic, largely thanks to our incredible server. To start the night, I ordered the Puttin' on the Spritz, which was absolutely delicious. As someone who is celiac/ gluten-free, navigating group dinners can be stressful, but our server made it seamless. We decided to dine family-style. While there weren't any regular appetizers I could have, the restaurant offers a dedicated GF menu, and our server went above and beyond to accommodate me for the rest of the meal: Salads: Family-style comes with two salads, and the server safely modified both to be gluten-free. Entrees: The family-style option includes four entrees. I ordered the Rigatoni D with GF pasta (the menu explicitly notes they can substitute GF pasta). Our server also had the medallion plate specially made gluten-free. The Delivery: When the food arrived, they brought my GF pasta out separately to avoid cross-contamination and even surprised me with my own dedicated plate of GF Chicken Francese! To top it all off, their crème brûlée is naturally gluten-free, and they brought one out just for me to enjoy for dessert. Our server was exceptionally knowledgeable about gluten allergies, and I deeply appreciated how thoroughly cared for I felt throughout the night. The food was delicious across the board. We will definitely be back!
