Services was absolutely terrible. Our order was wrong. Food was dropped at our table (literally the man yelled at us for not helping him... we would've had we known what he needed!), and then we had NO silverware, napkins, dressing for the salad or condiments for 25 minutes. Nobody stopped by to check on us and it was impossible to flag anyone down on the patio. Throughout this time it was clear they had a bad system... food and drinks were going to the wrong tables-- we watched this from the other side of the patio. Finally a bus boy helped us out. I guess that's a cool name right. It's been in business for a long time now and hey, "Let's go to Moe's" It just rolls of your tongue right? The parking was awesome. I parked right up front with no wait. Yes, you have to where a mask to get in. In the entry area there was no one to greet me but hey it's a pub right? I knew where my friend was sitting. The place seemed not too crowed with plenty of tables not in the 6' rule as of today. I got to my table, the server came right up and took our order. Jackson (the server) was really nice, he got our drinks, and order to us really quick. There were drink and food specials on Thursdays. I had a Zegenbach with meatballs. The draft beer was awesome. The meatballs was not that great. Seemed a little tasteless but hey I like Cajun food anyway, like most of you know that. I guess I was expecting a little more but it was ok. We stayed till the happy hour was over and it never really got too busy. Staff was real nice. The GM came to our table and ask if we were ok. That's always a cool touch. This used to be my go to place, but we came for NFL opening day, and they have a lot of tv's and couldn't put the Steelers game not on one TV after I called and made sure they would be able to put it on. They said there are more people watching the Texans then the Steelers which is understandable but for them not to put it on one TV is ridiculous. And to add the food is only mediocre. I had a WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE here at Mo's Irish pub on Sunday night.. the food, and drinks were terrific, but most of all Mrs. Amber Martinez made my day! She was the sweetest, most attentive server in the house that night regardless of how busy it was! she is by far the reason I will be coming back to this location. I actually live closer to the Katy location.. (which I've never been to) and I will definitely be passing that location up to come here hopefully when she is working. I can't believe I've never reviewed this place before! We started coming here because it's the halfway point between our home and our friends home. We hadn't visited before Covid restrictions were lifted in the summer of 2020. They seemed to follow the rules and we sat outside. Fast forward to summer of 2021 & I decided to celebrate my 50th birthday here with some friends. I called ahead as to not bombard them with a huge table and they were very accommodating, even texting me to see what the expected turnout would be. I was expecting 12 and we ended up with 10. I was even allowed to bring my own cake. We had several different tabs and no mistakes. I always get the kids chicken tenders with fries. My usual drink is Miller Light, but they ran out so I had Michelob Ultra Light instead. My boyfriend had 2 Black and Tan's and the shepherds pie. They were serving brunch all day and I'll probably try it next time. When our friends arrived we also ordered the amazing pretzel with beer cheese and soma kind of mustard. It was excellent. Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks and we had a great time, as always. I wish I could remember the waiters name because he was on point the whole time. This is my favorite spot to enjoy a quick bite and a few beers. I'm sure we'll be back within the month. read more

I used to frequent this place quite a bit, however recently I have came to find it not the best place to wind down after work. After eating a full sampler plater and 4 drinks I was told I needed to order more food or I was not allowed to drink. Never in my life has this happened in my life. Quite the shocker. Not to mention this is the second time I've visited this bar. My first visit, the waiter dumped my plate of food in my lap. Will take my business else where. read more

Only reason it's not 5 Stars is the corn beef and cabbage dish wasn't to my liking even though I love corn beef and cabbage. It's all subjective though. My taste buds could be different from others. I will say the servers were good, the food was very average. We wouldn't stop here again. But better than fast food. The fried cheese curls were very salty and the dip with them just made for bland. My husband ordered shepherds pie, we asked if it was ground beef- waitress said yes- it was made with ground beef, it was not. So, that was not what we wanted. I ordered the Reuben wrapped in a potato pancake. It was very dry inside, idk I love Reuben's but just wished I had ordered a Reuben. I ate about 1/4 of it and set it aside. No one asked anything about why, so I guess they knew. We were not impressed with the food. But maybe if you are just going for beer and tv's then it could work. Me and my friends came here last night thinking it would be good but it was honestly THE WORST PLACE EVER !! i think mcdonald's was better choice, and i think this place would be perfect for kitchen nightmares. The chilli cheese fries were dry with dried chilli sauce just scooped in one area and that's it. both my friends got the chicken parmesan WHICH IS REALLY JUST FROZEN CHICKEN STRIPS W MELTED CHEESE ON IT AND THEY DONT CARRY GRATED CHEESE!! NO PARMESAN CHEESE ... just melted pepper jack cheese !! The pasta for the chicken parmesan was really cold and the sauce was really salty, curly noodles with SALTY TOMATO SAUCE !! literally so bad ... the worst food ever. read more

Summary- So far not bad at all, will have to go back to try some dranks and a little more food. Obviously it's not remotely really Irish in case you were confused. They don't have any authentic Irish food items or an Irish breakfast. Food- 3.5 Stars Surprisingly well executed bar fare. Reuben was much better than expected. Chicken sandwich was also perfectly serviceable, nothing special but certainly not bad at all. Fries were good. Service- 4 Stars Good and prompt. This place always seem packed almost everyday I drive home because so many cars are parked there. I came in with some friends to check the place out. Setting: It was packed around 7-ish when we came in and we probably waited 5 minutes to get a table. It's a 2 story place with a patio & bar. They also have large TV'S to watch sporting events. Food: I had their Shepherds pie & fried pickles. The pie came with 2 slices of rye bread and it came in a black stone couldron type bowl. It was pretty hearty, reminded me of beef stew & it had garlic mash potatoes on top. I think I had shepherd's pie once before & thought it was suppose to have dough/crust around it. This didn't have either. Still it was tasty and the seasoning was ok. Their fried pickles weren't that great. They were a little to big & sour from fried pickles I had at other places & the batter wasn't crunchy enough. Overall: the service was great! The hostess greeted us & got us the next available table. Our waitress & the manager there was very friendly & hospitable. I felt their customer service was better than the food. The food was kind of pricey. A few comfort foods really get me excited, and when I saw shepherd's pie was on the menu here, that was enough to hook me. This particular location is one of only a few across the entire country: in Wisconsin (open a long time), Indiana and the other here in Houston (vintage park to be exact). So I'm feeling lucky that it's closer than the other one I've tried. I'm not the biggest fan of loud, rowdy places on the regular but it's only on certain nights when live music is there and after all, it is an Irish pub, I think it's what they're going for. So luckily they have plenty to eat and drink late into the night! They have a nice variety of typical bar food and specialty Irish dishes. The Shepard's pie (or cottage pie), being one of the features for me, was disappointing. I've had really good pies, so perhaps I'm comparing a bit, but if it's your first time trying it, I wouldn't recommend judging all Shepard's pies from this one experience. They are usually all different but you expect lots of flavour and particularly good potatoes, more like a crust of them, but here it's like they plopped a wad of mashed potatoes on the stew, their interpretation, yes, but it affected it's flavour. I didn't get enough stew, and it wasn't that thick and heavy like I expected plus a bit too salty overall. The garlic marshes potatoes where under seasoned with not enough crispness like you would get with a crust, but presentation-wise it was quite nice looking since you can actually see the stew before you dig in. Other menu items looked promising like the buffalo chicken wrap with blue cheese that I saw someone else eating. The Killarney club with bourbon smoked turkey and applewood bacon sounded nice too. Or the mo's burger with corned beef, maybe next time. But I can see how all their appetisers and sides would flow well with loud music and drinks, especially a harp or Guinness during their great happy hour specials! The atmosphere and service was pretty cool, more like a typical sports bar with some Irish flare with waiter service about average for a busy eve, nothing that stands out. I think this could be a great hang out spot or place to catch a game! read more

We swung by while visiting family that live in the area. They were excited to try a new restaurant option close by. Interior is like a Buffalo Wild Wings on St. Patty's day. Traditional big sports bar interior, but with Irish and pub themed decor throughout. There's a tv every which way you've got your head turned so you don't miss the game. They offer outdoor and indoor seating as well as a small second floor seating area that overlooks the main interior. Food is also the typical sports bar fare big burgers, chicken wings, fried platter and so forth. Since they're an Irish Pub they also offer a handful of pub style bites, such as the shepherd's pie, corned beef and cabbage, fish and chips, and reuben boxty. Everything we had was good enough greasy sports bar food. Food ran from $9 for sandwiches up to $21 for the steak. Service was a little sloppy. Our waiter forgot a couple things, filled my empty beer glass with water, that kind of stuff. Most of them looked like 18 year olds/college kids working their summer breaks, so wasn't expecting end all be all of service. Food got out to our table on time, our waiter was friendly and he tried to make sure we had everything we wanted. Overall Mo's is a nice enough sports bar experience if you're looking for a heaping burger and cold beer to watch the game. I'm sure St. Patty's day is a ton of fun there. read more

I'd be down to eat at this sports bar any day! Ambience is nice and noisy, the televisions are abundant, and the booths are cozy. I believe there is a second floor, and I would love to check that out as well. I was most impressed that menu was much more expansive than your typical bar food list. My parents and I enjoyed a casual dinner while watching a basketball game, and we were pleased not to encounter the rowdy, smoke-laden atmosphere familiar to many other bars and pubs. Came in Friday morning to check out the place and Ashley was serving us. Service was extremely slow and terrible. We were wondering what was taking so long for our orders to be taken until we saw our server taking shots behind the bar. At one point she started causing a scene with her coworkers and being extremely loud. Highly disappointed as my first time coming there and to be given a bad first impression of the place.
