Pros: Upon walking in, I was greeted and given a menu; the happy hour menu for food and drinks was actually really good, and the dishes (calamari and steamed shrimp) came out at a good time. There is a nice array of menu options and plenty of parking. The bartender was very attentive and pleasant (I wish I remembered her name). However, the restaurant could definitely benefit from being deep cleaned, including chairs, floors, etc. The bathroom and restaurant itself could definitely benefit from deep cleaning and upgrades. We went for lunch because they have the $15 lunch menu. Let's say our eyes were bigger than our stomach because we had to take food home. The food was delicious. I had the surf and turf burger and could barely eat half of it. The crab soup is ok it could use a bit more seasoning. The service was great. Moe's Seafood Whitemarsh so, I came here back in February. Ordered the same things as before with a little less. Now mind you no AC, sweating my ass off. And I was charged gratuity with just 2 people at the table, and my bill was $30 more then back in February. Was informed by the server that the ownership changed from Father to son. So, his offspring has caused me to not come back to any Moes Seafood ever again. But I will say the service was A1. And I appreciate the service, not the restaurant. We stopped here on a road trip for takeout and a rest stop around 10pm. The bar was lively and filled with people. I ordered fried calamari for takeout, which was ready within 15 minutes. There was only two other customers there upon our arrival. Fantastic, we beat the rush. The crowd starts to thicken around 2PM. We decided to sit at the bar. Visited for a team development activity and we OVERPAID!! For 6 people we spent $500 and I felt bad spending company money on the excursion. We did not go over board, 1 drink per person one entree and a few appetizers for the group to share. In addition to the cost the food itself did not justify cost of the meal. The crab legs were not seasoned and I had to request accompaniments to make them somewhat satisfying. The best part of the team bonding was the lack of dress code as we had a physical activity before lunch and we were able to socially distance ourselves since reservations would not be made. We weren't sure if we would be able to sit together or enjoy the lunch portion of our day, but it worked out no one was there to watch the early football games. I was surprised when I walked through the door and was greeted by a security guard asking for a cover charge. I guess they were lying, this place is like the 40 West Loafers used to be. Ordered rosemary roasted potatoes as the side dish and never ate it. Tasted as if not thoroughly cooked, yet, rubbery from reheating from a previous day; had absolutely no flavor. Threw the leftovers in the trash. Tip was included in the bill, so be aware of this. The waiter and manager had an indifferent attitude regarding concerns with food and didn't offer any alternatives. The plate the food was served on had residue on it. The other person I came with also left there unhappy. We didn't really like the food, but what was more disappointing was the manager came over and asked us what we thought and before we could answer, he started making jokes and walked away and never returned. Stuffed lobster was stuffed with jumbo lump crabs and the imperial salmon was stuffed with scallops, shrimps, jumbo lump crabs. Mo's didn't disappoint. They were huge and packed with flavors. my husband and I went in yesterday for a late lunch. I was impressed with the menu however the food was absolutely horrible. they claim to use " the highest quality and freshest seafood, and we could clearly tell it was all frozen & processed . the clam strips and scallops tasted like Gortons fish sticks ! our steak ( if you want to call it that ) was not only a center meter thick, but it seemed like they boiled it . no searing , way too much seasoning and salt and extremely fatty and over cooked . the crab cake was disgustingly to say the least . the onion rings were good , I'll give them that. we paid fine dining prices for diner quality food. Now Mo's know they're wrong for putting cheesy garlic bread basket. What was served was nothing but a slice of standard sandwich bread w/ a slice of cheese on top. Never even knew that there was a Mo's location in Middle River but this was the location we chose for our Mother's Day dinner. The experience wasn't the greatest but not the worst. I was surprised there were not more people there since it was Mother's Day but it worked out in our favor. My cousin called in a reservation for 11 people at least 5 days prior to Mother's Day. When my mother and I got there, they told us they had no reservation for us. Luckily, because they weren't crowded, the manager got us a table for our party and we didn't have to wait for our complete party to sit. The food and service was lackluster. The service was slow which confused us since it wasn't very busy. I think maybe they could have been short-staffed but I saw plenty of servers walking around. My cousin shared her crab dip with the table. It was just ok. It needed more Old Bay and cheese. They also over toasted the first batch of rolls they sent to our table. I ordered the half cream of crab/half Maryland crab soup in a cup. It was full of thick chunks of crabmeat. I was pleased. I also ordered the Cajun style salmon, which came with roasted potatoes and broccoli. The salmon was ok (honestly I like it better when I reheated it at home the next evening) but the potatoes were half cooked. I had two pieces I couldn't even chew. Not impressed at all.
