For reliable, fresh, and consistent sushi, I heavily suggest Moshi Moshi. Now there are three locations last I knew. Usually I frequent the location by The Roads, but given that I chose to get delivery through Uber Eats, I decided to try this location as it was much closer to me. Turns out that it's just as great as my usual location (at least in terms of food quality). I have no idea how the restaurant actually looks or even if the service is good, so please keep that in mind. I ordered steamed gyoza, miso soup, and two rolls: a California roll and a dragon roll. I could've gone with fried gyoza or even a spicy salmon roll, seeing as they were offering BOGOs for both, but I opted against it. Either way, given everything, I spent a bit over $30 and I think it's fair as all this food was just for me, and well, I got two meals out of it easily. Originally the wait was around an hour, but I got this within half an hour. Super happy about that. The steamed gyoza was flavorful, the miso soup a perfect combination of tofu and greens, and both were hot upon arrival. As for the rolls, they were generous and not fishy whatsoever. The volcano roll was great- highly recommend. The krunchy krab roll and the spicy salmon rolls were good but dry (needed more spicy mayo). The edamame was great. The pork buns had good flavor but were unexpectedly spicy. I wish they were fluffier, as they were a bit harder than most bao buns I've had. Moshi Moshi has held a special place in my heart for a long time, being one of the only "real food" spots that are open late (5am) and since they overhauled their menu recently, as well as redoing the layout of their entire establishment not long before that, i figured I'd leave a review after my new experience. They still have valet parking outside, but for some time now have converted the previous indoor seating into a larger takeout area for themselves and have setup a pickup window directly to the front sidewalk for to-go orders, which is really easy and convenient. The seating area is now in the back, partly inside partly outside, and they gave us a choice of which we wanted. It's July in Miami so we chose inside, which is nicely decorated with blacklights and a romantic vibe. The menu and ordering system is fully automated now, with a QR code that you scan and sends you to an interactive ToastTab site that lets each person add items to the table's bill, and designates who each item is for. Pretty cool, each menu item now has a description and some have photos which is cool. We ordered the wagyu hot stone, the red dragon roll, the spicy salmon roll, and the shrimp fried rice. It was all really good, the shrimp fried rice and red dragon roll were fantastic, the ingredients were all very fresh. the wagyu hot stone had the potential to be excellent but the stone cooled off a bit fast and made it hard to get a charred outside from a. Also we felt it was a bit overpriced for how much you get. They took my faves the hero roll and fried Oreos off the menu but they overall have way better options now and it's really good. read more
