The mosquitos are better for sure but I'm still getting bites. They assured me no mosquitos on my porch but I sit here tonight getting bites. Have called them back several times but it's not really effective. This service is expensive but I have to spray on off to sit out comfortably and that was not the deal.some of the bugs are noseums and nothing solves those things. We've been using them for the past 2 years and liked it for a while until today on how they treated me as their customer. I received an email saying there's is a one time "fall special" for spraying the house for the winter months. Which I responded saying that I was interested but never received any type of correspondence in return. They scheduled me for a day where it just had rained 6 hours prior to the treatment time. So I requested for a reschedule. Long story short, the "fall special" was suppose to be spraying of the gutters, sidings, deck, window wells... so and and so forth. The person who came to spray it, did not spray the house at all. my external cameras prove it! I called to inform them saying they did not spray the house like it was mentioned in the email, the guy basically said, "my guys do what they are suppose too, we can take the Charge off, but can no longer come to your property". They didn't even care about fixing the problem but quick to lose me as their customer. Oh well guess it's their loss. read more

Called as a first time customer due to the $29 first initial treatment special they have going. The girl on the phone- Katherine- seemed very scripted and rushed. Didn't take the time to really provide customer service like it should. She informed me that she would need to take a credit card to keep on file for payment. Due to security issues and breaches out there in the cyber world, I do not feel comfortable in giving my information for a credit card over the phone. After that discussion, we moved to booking an appointment. The dispatcher could not give me a firm date instead a week to week and a half is what I'm being told. She kept repeating herself that they firm up the schedule the day before and then send an email/text. I'm sorry but that doesn't work for a regular working person. I don't want just anyone coming to my property without me being there and employers don't just work with you all the time to let you have some time with short notice to them like that. Very unreliable services here. First, you force someone to give a credit card over the phone to have on your file AND you cannot commit to a specific, more narrowed schedule??? You definitely lost my business and I will not be recommending you. Credit cards being stored on file is just a glutton for punishment in the hacking world these days. You may want to take a better approach at your business and payment strategy. Also, how can you not have a schedule and just place someone on a standby...especially a new customer? Last year we purchased a home in the country and had all the thoughts of sitting on the back deck, enjoying a glass of wine, looking at the sunset and enjoying our new place. Lord of the Mosquitos quickly ended that event along with June bugs, flies, etc. We reluctantly called Mosquito Authority as I doubted anything that offered a "guarantee" against what we had. We also live about 500 yards from Crow's Nest which is pretty much mosquito central. We did the treatment, and the very first night it was finally enjoyable to be on the deck. The previous mornings I would sweep bugs off the deck, there was almost nothing around the following morning. We did get a few mosquitos, but we were warned that it sometimes takes a cycle to clear the area given the size of the lot and the ones that would be still hatching. Sure enough by the second treatment, which I think was well before the 21 days, because we called reporting a few of the flying critters, the area was clear. It was the best decision we made last year, and I just renewed for this year. The customer service is great, and they understand we have dogs with a doggie door, so they always text or call in advance so we can secure the dogs inside. We did have retreatment late in the year, but again we're out in prime mosquito country, and heavy rains post-treatment do have an impact (at least that's what we noticed) on the effectiveness. The owner called as a follow-up, and the guys that come out are always very nice. Can't say enough about the service and product. read more

We've used Mosquito Authority for the past 2 years. The first year I think we started too late in the year because it didn't feel like the spraying effected the mosquitos at all, but helped with ticks completely! Before we hired MA our dogs would come in with multiple ticks every day. (Last year was one of the worst for tick season because of the mild winter). We noticed right away that the ticks were basically non-existent. We started earlier this year for mosquito protection. While we still have them and you'll get bit standing outside, it's not as horrible as it was last year. We were told this is because they were able to spray the nests beforehand. read more

Going into our 4th season of using The Mosquito Authority. Couldn't be more pleased! It all started with hosting our son's 6th birthday party (April) at our house. The thought of friends and parents returning home with mosquito bites from an afternoon BBQ did not appeal to us - we wanted these folks to return for play dates and such! So we contacted TMS and they did an "event spray" for us. We were so pleased that we set up for a spray at the recommended interval of every 3 weeks. And the rest is history! Now don't expect that you will NEVER receive another mosquito bite. It does take a couple of sprays to truly get the treatment rolling at its prime. And you may have a straggler or two hanging around. But the physical relief of not having to deal with several painful bite areas is wonderful! I can recall that we have had to request during 2 different years that they come and retreat our yard at the height of the season. (We would come inside after an evening on the back patio and had maybe 4 bites.) But each time it has been a non-issue with no ifs ands or buts. They stood behind their guarantee and retreated within 24 hours. An added bonus for me is they email and text me a day or 2 prior to treatment to let me know they are coming. (Not that we need to be home for them to spray.) This allows me to make sure no activities are planned outside, I can cover my garden with a sheet (not sure this is necessary, it's just my preference) and reminds me to not leave the dog outside (if we had one) - you just need to stay out of the yard for 30 minutes or so until the product dries. Do yourself, your family, and your friends a favor and give it a try! The $70 or so per month is WELL worth the ding in the budget to enjoy the outdoors from the spring through the fall. read more

This is the first time in 11 years since living in our home that we can enjoy our backyard 24/7. In years past we would make a mad dash as dusk approached to avoided getting eaten alive. My grandchildren are extremely appealing to mosquitoes. Not one mosquito bite this year. It has enabled us to enjoy our yard during the nicest part of the day. Highly recommend! read more

We bought a house with multiple acres. The first couple of months, we couldn't enjoy being outside. We would end up covered in mosquitos. Called Mosquito Authority and they came out to spray a couple days later. We immediately noticed a difference. They guaranteed us that after the 2nd spray, there would be none - and they were right. We were finally able to enjoy our backyard space in the evenings with no problems. Bonus - the spray also kills fleas and ticks. read more

Unfortunately, we've terminated our services with Mosquito Authority after two years of being with them. After several complaints, we are still receiving more than a far share of mosquitos on our property. Travis was accusatory in informing me that I was in the wrong for not calling his services more than once to let him know I was still having issues, when in fact I did call. I asked for today's service to be covered and was told "no, as it was my responsibility to let him know we were still having trouble." I'd prefer to deal with another company at this point. read more

All was well and I was looking forward to my backyard being a happy haven.... only to have them push my FIRST time service out several times. I finally just cancelled service because after speaking to the manager on the phone personally I was told nothing could be done and they could not guarantee my property would even be sprayed for the next two weeks! Soooo disappointed!! Contacted another company who can provide service in the next 5-7 days which I consider reasonable. read more

The Mosquito Authority has been doing a great job for us - last year and this year. We can actually use our backyard when ever we want to. The mosquitos have been so bad that we limited our use of the patio and porch areas. It may seem like they are out of town, but they are very good and very regular. read more

I rate this as average. I've had to call them back for repeat sprays because we were eaten alive 2 days after spray. The one thing I HATE - My windows get coating with this stuff and I can hardly see out my windows. It's like they spray directly on the windows. To expect to have clean windows in the summer????
