    Cracking/browning toilet seat cover
    Mina D.

TERRIBLE SERVICE I booked a 2 queens upgraded room. When I arrived it was very late and I had been traveling a long way. We get to our room and the toilet seat was disgusting. Chipping on the inside and looked brownish. We were so tired that we decided to wrap hand towels around it to protect ourselves so we could get rest. Then we go to lay down and realize the 2 beds are doubles not queens. No worries we figure, they will help us get it all sorted out in the morning. After I shower in the morning, I go to grab a towel that has a strong oder to it. It smelt like the store and there were stickers on it. Please make sure your towels are sanitary from the warehouse. We get down stairs to inform the front desk of the error. It was the WORST customer service I have ever received. (Caucasian man w/glasses.) My mother and I have both worked customer service majority of our lives. You never tell a customer, "was it disgusting or just gross?" "I think you are over complaining" "she came in throwing a fit" "it says here you have a double so that is what you have"(mind you my booking from Expedia says 2 queens but he did not care bc he claims they lied.) Overall I'm a kind and patient person but please do not disrespect my mother by calling her a liar, over complainer, and treating her in an ill manner. We had let the bad service rep know we checked out of that room upon leaving. They refuse to refund anything. Expedia says it's out of their hands. NEVER GO THERE! Britney did nothing! Terrible management!!

Card showing room was cleaned on 09/23.

Both pillows were on the night stands and not the bed. When I went to grab them I noticed they were both torn. Neither had pillow cases on them. Idk if the were pulled off to the side to be replaced, but they never were. Card in the room said room was cleaned on 09/23, I checked in late 09/26. So in 3+ days no one followed up. Also the AC was set real low and was unresponsive, I ended up unplugging it to get it to stop so I could sleep.

About 1000 years ago, the average human would still be too tall for this shower head

The entire building stinks. From the second you enter the hallway you smell a mix between mildew and stale cig butts. My room smelled the same plus that of a dirty toilet. I ate a Sunkist tuna packet after inspecting the room and the aroma of that freshened things up a bit... then I had to sit down in the stand-up shower because the shower head is at nose height. (See photo). This was some first class trickery because the lobby was immaculate and the desk lady was super nice. This should be 1 star but the retro lamp was cool.. (Don't bring popcorn.. there's no microwave.)

"There's plenty of coverage between Riggins and Boise". Yeah right!!

Booked a room here through Booking.com, which I've used for years with no issues. The "pay when you arrive" and "no fee for cancellations" apparently doesn't apply with THIS Motel 6, which charged me even after my fuel pump broke down en route to the airport. Had to sleep in my car with no T Mobile signal in the area and then deal with catching ride to airport and didn't even have time to think about this motel until I saw their charges 2 days later. I've now spent a total of 3 hours over 3 weeks trying to get this charge removed. The "managers" on site never bothered returning any of my calls, and even after Booking.com and Motel 6 National requested that the charge be removed, they refused. The only response I got from them (via the national office) was that I was a liar about not having service, which is a pretty horrible accusation to make. The national office had to cut me a check since the local office refused to refund my credit card, which means it'll take up to 30 days to get reimbursed for not staying at this motel. I'm a disabled single mom on a fixed income. This charge plus the unexpected car repairs and overdraft fees from my bank has destroyed me for the month. And for what? To steal from future customers and call them liars? If they're doing that to me, they'll do it to you, too. If you die before checking in, they'll make your family give them a death certificate before they remove charges, and even then they'll probably still deny it. Imagine how they treat people who DO show up! Boo on you, Boise Motel 6. I wouldn't wish you on my worst enemy. If you're looking for a motel near the airport, this isn't your only choice. Find some decent business to patronize, y'all! Boise is usually an extremely friendly town. Management must be transplants from you-know-where.

To top it off, the lady working the front desk late Thursday night was super super nice. Great first impression of Boise based on that alone!

Rooms are basic, but clean and mostly well stocked. No conditioner in our shower. I retrieved a little bottle from my suitcase, but again, at $300 a night, housekeeping should be on top of that. My least favorite thing, breakfast. Blaah! I've generally stayed at Hilton garden inns where you get a real breakfast served to you. Sorry, but this breakfast was not great, in fact, just not good. I'm sure convenience is its appeal to business travelers, but if quality or taste are your things, just skip it. We walked down about 8:45 (it runs from 6-10) and the place looked like a hurricane had hit it. Self serve breakfast bars have their place but dedicate a staff member to keeping things stocked up, counters cleaned and overflowing trash receptacles emptied. $300 a night, just sayin!!! I'll again say that if you are attending an event downtown this is a very convenient place to stay. That's its appeal to us. And that is why it gets three stars instead of two on my overall value score

I stayed in a one King, one bedroom room and it was perfect!! I had an extended stay, something not all hotels offer. Every single person on staff, was so nice. Yes, I'm pretty sure I met all of them including the amazing house cleaning staff. Speaking of house cleaning, I was blessed with the nicest, funniest house cleaner, Andy!! Not only did we joke, laugh, he also listened when I had a bad day. My room looked like I had just checked in after he cleaned it!! Henry, who is directly under assistant manager, is easy to work with, incredibly nice, always did his best to make sure that I was able to stay in the same room! (I didn't know how long I was going to stay. Sometimes I booked a week at a time, sometimes one day at a time) he enjoys getting to know his guest, he always loved checking up on me and we had some great conversation! I am positive you will love him. Sydney who works the front desk is so super sweet, we quickly became friends (friends in the Hotel sense) I got special hugs from her, along with Maddy!! (I am a hugger, I respect those who aren't, yet love getting them from those who are ) Maddie who I met when I stayed at the Hampton Inn for a little less than two weeks, surprised me when I opened upmy door at the Home2suites with starburst in her hands! she knew what I was going through and couldn't have gluten! Talk about getting to know your guest! The atmosphere there is like being welcomed into a family, which giving my circumstances, made my stay so much better!! Hannah and Morgan, who also worked the front desk, left a card for me at my door with a Hershey's chocolate bar yummm bar!! They wrote the sweetest words of encouragement, expressing the care about me, and letting me know they were only a phone call away! I realize this is a long review, but I can't end it without mentioning the kindness I received from the nighttime Auditor's! Marco was the very first person I met and because I arrived so late he still let me check in, treated me with such kindness. Kimberly!! You have to meet Kimberly if you're here for more than a couple days. If she is a person with a wealth of information and always willing to spend the time answering questions, I never even thought of. One night, I talked with her for two hours!! Okay, if I haven't convinced you how nice this hotel is yet let me add a few more things.I never heard the noise of the city life, and there is always something going on something fun, entertaining, etc. The whole hotel is so clean, It looks as if it has been remodeled!! The parking!! Yes, it does cost $20, yet it is worth every penny. The convenience of Parking right out the door of the sixth floor without to call and ask for your car or wait on it. I could leave things in my car, if I needed something, I'd Simply walk out the door that leads to the parking lot, grab what I needed walk right back in and into my room all in a matter of minutes!! The amenities!! I can't leave that out!! Full size refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker with coffee, bean coffee, was what I enjoyed every single morning. Plenty of counter space! Plus, another long counter space all the way to the wall!! That's not counting the work area! You will not lack for space that's for sure! burner for your request with pans to cook withall the way to the wall!! Free breakfast! To say it's a continental Is an understatement. I've seen Continental breakfasts' I usually pass on them.but this one had waffles, bagels, yes, even gluten-free ones, a build your own sandwich bar, sausage, bacon, you name it. So when you hear, Continental, I just spoiled your surprise. Stop scrolling, stop looking and do yourself a favor, book a room at the Home2Suites in downtown Boise!! You will not regret it!
