I think this is a small cockroach but whatever it is, it should not have been in this room.
Holly G.

The room was very stuffy, didn't smell great, had ants on the floors, desk, bathroom counter and shower but WORST of all is that I killed a small cockroad upon 5 minutes of being in the room. I was upstairs. I nearly decided to just drink a Red Bull and head home but it was already 10 pm and I was very tired. Do NOT stay here. The area is creepy, out of the way, and felt a bit unsafe. You get what you pay for. GROSS. Very bad experience.

Car's windows smashed on driver's side. Both windows. And both tires left flat.

My friends stayed at this Motel 6 as they were visiting the Bay Area from Utah. There are other Motel 6 properties in the area. This is easily the worse - even worse than the Oakland, CA Coliseum. The best Motel 6 from what I've seen is Fremont, CA North on Fremont Blvd. and I-880. This property just isn't safe. See photo below of break in. The property is larger and would need at least 3 Security Guards at night. I don't think it has one at the moment. And at least one during the day.

Something gross on the wall thank goodness didn't touch it

Stay far away. Honestly growing up motel 6 wasn't as grimey as it is now. Don't be fooled by the newly remodeled rooms. The stuff in here never got upgraded. I got a king bed that was smoking room (that's all they had left) I guess for 73 bucks what else can I ask for? Maybe the walls not to be disgusting? Just avoid all around

Dirty towel holder; obviously has not been wiped down for however long - gross!!!

Pretty much what you'd expect from a motel 6. Not very clean, even during a pandemic - gross. I bring my own disinfectant when I rent rooms, just to ensure cleanliness. The towel I used to wipe everything down was literally brown when I was done - also gross. They provide a fridge, but no microwave??? There was a moldy, fresh fruit tart left in the fridge, so obviously that wasn't cleaned very well. After walking barefoot for a few minutes, my feet were black. Everything is kind of run down and just dirty. I basically cleaned this room better then room service. You can smoke in the room, which is cool if you're a smoker.

Thats the blanket they provided me with oh and the actual pillows had nasty stains on them

I got a room there and they had me waiting for a clean blanket took like 30 mins for them to deliver it the room had insects in there very noisy with kids running around the smell is horrible wasn't there for more than 3 hours when I decided I couldn't stay there went to the lobby and asked for a refund and the girl said no I didn't argue or complain or anything i just simply gave gave her the room card and left i wish at least they would of gave me half a refund or SOMETHING but stay away from this motel sweet staff tho no problem with them that was the only good thing

bottle opener lol

This motel 6 is pretty decent for a one nights stay. The location is great, however the clientele is sketchy. Check in and check out is super easy, and the clerk was really nice. They have a new AC/heating unit in the room that works really well, a TV with decent channels, and a comfortable mattress. However, there are no amenities what so ever besides soap and a bottle opener.

This place with dirty filthy disgusting. staff was rude manager was rude. housekeeping was terrible ants in the room holes in the blankets with no.smoking in rooms. But blankets smoker holes . couldn't come up at night to ask .staff was so rude you didn't want to ask him for anything did not have a do not disturb sign when was asked if you could have one they said we don't do that. So I made my own sign and they told me I had to take it down and they were mad at me because I didn't want any service. They were Blood on the wall hair on the walls. There's no hair dryer no tissue. When I confronted the manager he called me a liar that this couldn't be his stuff you don't keep it dirty. Apparently he doesn't know his own room

My son ordered the chicken and waffles: The chicken was 1/5 - dry and underseasoned The waffles were a 5/5 - perfectly made, but served with a really unappetizing pepper jack cheese butter and spiced jam that didn't go well with it all. No syrup whatsoever was provided which would've really elevated the dish. My wife had the clams / vongole and they were pretty solid, 3/5. The mussels weren't obviously previously frozen, but the broth was tasty, and the croquets were average. My kids started with the garlic fries which were also a 3/5 and had a good amount of garlic and herbs. The ketchup was overly sweet but house made. The aioli was very acid forward and tasted like it had some sort of artichoke or vinegar mix in it that didn't match the flavor profile well. I asked for a recommendation between the veal and the lasagna and was told the lasagna was the way to go. The lasagna came out and looked beautiful, but taste wise... super traditional which some may like, but I found to be super disheartening as it tasted like low expectations. It might has well been microwaveable lasagna that was plated and finished by a chef. The tomato sauce base that it sat in was the highlight, but the lasagna itself was a disappointment. It brought me back to 2nd year of college, when roomies took their first stab at cooking. The server himself was great, friendly and attentive. But in regards to food, I would never come back here. You could get better Italian food in a mall food court and at half the price. (I wouldn't eat there either).

The beer selection is quite good: they have a number of solid beers on draft like Old Speckled Hen and Kilkenny. The service was also good: we were greeted and seated promptly, and our server checked in on us frequently. I really liked the food. I got the beef pastie and it was a nice comfort food on a cool foggy Half Moon Bay evening. The beef and peas were well seasoned, the pastry was nice, and the gravy was tasty. My wife got the artichoke soup and was blown away. It was rich, a little creamy, and very flavorful. I also appreciated the bread bowl it was in had a toasted top. We'll be back, especially because I want to try the fish and chips!

Besides the food, I truly believe our experience was overall great because of our server, Rachel! Rachel was so kind, and communicative. We talked a bit about where we were from and what we do as our jobs, and it was just really nice to talk to a server that views us customers like people. It was great to slow down and just talk. Thank you!!

Our server was doing her best on her own for the entire establishment and we respected her situation. The Gabby's Jolt was merely strong and seemed to be missing ingredients listed on the menu. We had ordered the stuffed mushrooms appetizer which was tasty, the filet mignon entree and halibut entree ( of which we told the server we'd like to have a glass of white wine to accompany it but had to wait until the entree was nearly cold to receive it). We ate two servings of bread an do bitter while we waited for the entrees. The filet was tender and seasoned well in addition to being cooked a bit over medium, had a large portion of spinach and mashed potatoes, and came with the same red wine reduction sauce as the mushrooms which we found a bit odd. The minutely seasoned halibut has to have been the tiniest piece of fish we've ever seen served and only had six small potato quarters and like 6-7 stalks of asparagus with it. Overall, we ate everything because of the small halibut entree, but will most likely not return. I suggest the owners have more than one server on a Friday night, For everyone's sake.
