If i could put 0 stars i would. Along with all the reviews. Do not stay here! I was moved from the first room because it smelled like heavy cigarette smoke. Once moved to the second room it was even worse. The freezer along with the tub were disgusting. The sheets obviously were not inspected to be clean because there was stuff stuck to it. There was stuff on the wall. Overall was so disgusted i left the motel and had to pay money somewhere else. Front manager was no help after explaining this to her letting her know the conditions of the room. Did nothing to correct the situation. As a manager you should have some empathy on your customers. Ive attached photos because this is inexcusable! Dont bother calling customer service either because they are no help. read more

I had to wake up Elizabeth at the front desk. First room, no TV remote. Second room, card key didn't work, third room, toilet running, no chain, fire alarm missing parts. Too exhausted to get another room... Zero stars, but not an option. read more

Worst Hotel I have ever been to. As soon as I entered the room i can smell cigarettes. Told the front desk this and she basically said she thinks all the rooms smelled like that. I have resided at Studio 6 Hayward for eight (8) weeks. The rooms are very nice! There are no roaches, bedbugs, or mice. Full size refrigerator, 1100 watt microwave. Ultra-plush pillow top mattress. Very safe environment. No problems at all with Studio 6 Hayward. Except one. As previously stated, I have been at Studio 6 Hayward for eight weeks. During that time, my room has not been serviced. Not once! Housekeeping has never cleaned the room or changed the bed linen. Not once. In eight (8) weeks! This is something I have a problem with. By my understanding, a guest can contact the Front Desk and get on the "list" to have your room serviced. But, I worked in hotels for 18 years ( Marriott; Hilton; Omni) and housekeeping automatically serviced the rooms every three days. And it would be nice if housekeeping occasionally asked if the guest would like the room serviced. They...don't do that here. But outside of that? If you don't mind cleaning your own room, buying and washing your linen, and making your bed? You should be good. The motel is VERY clean and very safe. The only problem is the housekeeping dept. is deplorable! Actually? Housekeeping is nonexistent at Studio 6 Hayward. read more

Without a doubt this was the worst motel 6 I've ever stayed with! They charge a $50 deposit which is new because they never used to do this before and to make things even worse if you choose to stay longer, you have to pay another $50 deposit every time you extend you stay. Staff was very unpleasant to interact with check out is 11 AM if you need a late checkout well guess what you get an extra 15 minutes and that's it. They are constantly rushing you to get out of the room in my case they were knocking on the door at 10:30.Am rushing me to get out of the room. I have never had such an unpleasant experience with any other hotel before and I will not be coming back and I'm hoping that people read this review and make the right decision and book your stay somewhere else. Me personally, I will never be coming back and I will do my very best to persuade every person that I meet to never stay here. The room was very stuffy, didn't smell great, had ants on the floors, desk, bathroom counter and shower but WORST of all is that I killed a small cockroad upon 5 minutes of being in the room. I was upstairs. I nearly decided to just drink a Red Bull and head home but it was already 10 pm and I was very tired. Do NOT stay here. The area is creepy, out of the way, and felt a bit unsafe. very very very disgusting motel to stay & sleep. this motel need to be burn down to the ground. the beds are really dirty & there is a lot of cockroaches in all the rooms. the bathrooms are very small & extremely dirty. My friends stayed at this Motel 6 as they were visiting the Bay Area from Utah. There are other Motel 6 properties in the area. This is easily the worse - even worse than the Oakland, CA Coliseum. The best Motel 6 from what I've seen is Fremont, CA North on Fremont Blvd. and I-880. This property just isn't safe. See photo below of break in. The property is larger and would need at least 3 Security Guards at night. I don't think it has one at the moment. And at least one during the day. read more

This motel is run by thieves and scam artists. I booked a room online simply because they promise free cancelations if done before 6 pm. So when I couldn't make it I went online to cancel the booking but conveniently I kept getting an error. So I called the motel around 5:30 to cancel and the lovely lady assured me the booking is canceled. But they went ahead and charged my card anyway read more

Pretty much what you'd expect from a motel 6. Not very clean, even during a pandemic - gross. I bring my own disinfectant when I rent rooms, just to ensure cleanliness. The towel I used to wipe everything down was literally brown when I was done - also gross. They provide a fridge, but no microwave??? There was a moldy, fresh fruit tart left in the fridge, so obviously that wasn't cleaned very well. After walking barefoot for a few minutes, my feet were black. Everything is kind of run down and just dirty. I basically cleaned this room better then room service. You can smoke in the room, which is cool if you're a smoker. read more

Worst place ever. Dirty smelled nasty rooms were filthy. Had someone come knock at my door at 1am asking for a fix

Went to walk my dog around 1:40am after getting off work and a drunk man leaving Dennys was persistent at asking me if I wanted to smoke weed while I ignored him and proceeded to go to my room. Mind you, this Man continued to harass/follow me and my German Shepard I'm front of the security guard and two other patrons. No one did anything while they watched me scream at this man who's following me to my room. I then go back To the security guard who tells me he's on his break at 2am on a Saturday so I ask who's covering for him? No one. I demand he escort this guy who doesn't even have a room there. I thought it was over. I go to my room. Thank god my lady friends in there. I proceed to open the door to check on my car and the guy following me is now in his car parked in FRONT OF MY ROOM! I immediately slam the door, call 911, WHICH SAYS THEIR CALL VOLUMES TOO HIGH AND HANGS UP ON ME? I then decide to call front desk, EIGHT TIMES NO ANSWER! So I call dennys to send a worker to front desk to help in some way. I was literally terrified. Eventually the man left. I didn't sleep all night. And when I ask to sleep in longer or be comped from all this stress and negligence all they can do is allow me to sleep in until 2pm. This specific location is a joke, unsafe and grimy. This motel 6 is pretty decent for a one nights stay. The location is great, however the clientele is sketchy. Check in and check out is super easy, and the clerk was really nice. They have a new AC/heating unit in the room that works really well, a TV with decent channels, and a comfortable mattress. However, there are no amenities what so ever besides soap and a bottle opener. read more

only because I don't know how to rate with zero stars. I've stayed at other Motel 6 locations, and did not expect anything fancy. I did expect a clean, non-smelly room though, neither of which I found at this location. Firstly I was assigned a room and when I tried entering found it to be occupied. Then room we got, our beds lacked a sheet; housekeeping un- ceremoniously handed me a sheet to makeup my bed and the odor in the room was almost overpowering. It was late and we were too tired to find other accommodations. Guess you "can leave the lights on" for someone else, this experience turned me off of Motel 6 for future stays. read more

This place with dirty filthy disgusting. staff was rude manager was rude. housekeeping was terrible ants in the room holes in the blankets with no.smoking in rooms. But blankets smoker holes . couldn't come up at night to ask .staff was so rude you didn't want to ask him for anything did not have a do not disturb sign when was asked if you could have one they said we don't do that. So I made my own sign and they told me I had to take it down and they were mad at me because I didn't want any service. They were Blood on the wall hair on the walls. There's no hair dryer no tissue. They just remodeled their rooms a week ago! Flat screen TV's, new floorboards, beds, showers and stuff. Note that this is only for the non smoking rooms. There is a Denny's and a MCD's next door as well as a gas station. Even if you're a smoker, grab one of these rooms and just smoke outside it is worth it compared to having to get a smelly carpeted and spunk stained room from 20 years ago. There is also a Laundry room but only has 4 machines total, $1.75 per machine (2 washers and 2 dryers) The room is not exactly big but alls it matters is clean IMO. They do not have tissue paper for blowing your nose and do not have shampoo, tooth brushes or toothpaste. ***If you use a GPS to get here, be careful because it will tell you to make a uturn but dont make that uturn. Just make a left turn and you will see a gas station, turn left there and you will also see signs for motel6 and the motel. If you make that uturn, it will put you back on the freeway and it will take you 10 minutes to loop back around here!!*** It is 62 dollars a night and 3 bucks give or take for wifi. They charge a few bucks more per night on Fridays and Saturdays. If you get rooms 126 or 127, there will be a spot up front you can park as well but those are not spots specifically reserved for these rooms. They do not offer trucker discounts though but that won't matter to most people reading this I'm sure. Good luck and thanks for reading! 4 stars because they just renovated and price is decent. Put it this way, check out my other motel review (Phoenix Motel) and you will see that room for 52 bucks. No ventilation even though it's a smoking room. No shampoo, conditioner, must bring your own. If you are not a smoker, don't take these rooms. BED BUGS!!! Are you kidding me?! After being treated beyond rude by the desk clerk, who's got a chip on her shoulder for no damn reason, and going to bed with wet hair for which there was no shampoo or hairdryer for....I felt tickled all night until finally at 4:30am I went to brush something off and felt something. Turned on my phone light and jumped out of bed! Full grown adult bed bug!!! Imagine the smaller ones I just can't see that are on me! Ridiculous! I caught it and put it in one of my make up containers, because you know they'll never believe me otherwise. Stayed here for 2 nights. Had a very pleasant experience. Even though I didn't expect much, still much better than what I thought. It's the cheapest in the area and they don't charge for dog fee. Room is really clean, house keepers are really nice. It's also located nearby everything, restaurants, Target, shopping center. At night, it's really bright in the parking lot so you don't have to worried about your car. read more

Room was nice and clean for a motel 6. Everything worked fine and it was pretty quiet considering it was by a in industrial area. Close to shopping centers, fast food and a gas station which makes it convenient for travelers. read more

Stayed there in March 2022 they only had a a room which had to beds I seen a by the refrigerator and then seen a bigger roach come from under the other and crawled directly underneath my bed. Instantly I checked out within 15 minutes and got my refund back. Don't go there it's too nasty there! We stayed here June 6-8 2017. I booked the room through booking.com and it got some good reviews. I know that this is supposed be cheap but it's was just nasty. The parking was a nightmare and was so full we had to park no where near our room. I got a non smoking room and the moment we walked in it stunk to high heaven of smoke. The sheets were stained and even had a cigarette burn in them The house cleaning never came to fix our bed or give us new towels. The water pressure was a joke but it did give lots of hot water so it was tolerabe. The hotel is right by the freeway and you can hear all the noise from there not to mention anyone who walks by your room. The room was also very humid even with the air on. The front desk were cordial but that's about the only thing about this hotel. read more

Well very very very upset with this stay..first of all thevroom floor wasnt properly cleaned i had to redo that and re wipe everything in room cus i have kids that will touch everytjing cus they curious ...the gentle men that had checked me in was very polite ..now lets fast forward to wat happen..#1----1ST THE ROOM FLOOR WAS GROSS HAD TO RE-CLEAN CUS OBVIOUSLY WHO EVER VLEAN THOSE ROOMS NEED TO BE TRAINED AGAIN.!!!..2ND ---2DAYS LATER WAS OUR CHECKOUT AND I ALWAYS CLEAN AND PICK UP MY ROOM EVERYTIME BEDORE I CHECK OUT (CALLED RESPECT) WELL MY 2 YEAR OLD WAS BEING SUPER FUSSY SO I WAS TRYING REALLY HARD TO HURRY AND GET MY THINGS IN MY TRUCK ..I HAD PUT A BAG OF MY KIDS THINGS to the side to grab last to put in front with me cus it was their new shoes and clothes from target they got and my 9 year olds brand new build a bear...welll i forgot and didnt realize till that very next morning that i forgot my bag..i called and explained while im panicking and alls i get was MAMM THE MAIDS SAID THEY DIDNT FIND ANYTHING and are you sure you left here and all this other BS ACTUALLY I KNOW I LEFT IT THERE...
