I called the next day to add 2 more days to reservation and to re confirm roll in shower as my sister is in wheel chair. Dakota told me it is not a roll in shower but bath tub with grab bars per ADA... I told him theeir site says roll in shower then he said " I am sorry but that is a little misleading". I told him it is false advertisement and I will cancel the room as it is useless to her. How can the say sorry its misleading when it is a LIE. Over 100 degrees today and hvac was unplugged when I arrived. Room smells like a flavored vape pen. When I arrived, 20+ cops on site attending to domestic dispute with riot shields and rifles. Cops said to not leave anything in the car to be safe. I chose a cheap hotel, but didn't expect it to be this nasty. After staying one night we had to go to a second hotel but could only stay for one night due to a lot of visitors to the town. It was there that my wife realized that she had left a sock at the Motel 6. As we were planning on going back there for the third night, we decided to wait. When we checked into the hotel, we asked for the same room number as before and got it. My wife thought that her sock had come off during the night so we checked the bedding. We found the sock!!! They had not changed the bedding since we had checked out! This is unsanitary and unacceptable! Don't stay here! read more

So I drive from Los Angeles California to Pocatello Idaho. I booked a room a few days in advance and in the comments I asked for a clean room and a parking space near the room. The day of my arrival I called Super 6 at 7:00am in the morning and spoke to the manager who had answered the phone and asked if I could check in early and explained that I've been driving for 16 hours from California . He asked what time and I said it shows I'll be arriving near 11:30am and he said that I could and the room would be ready for me. I ended up arriving an hour later and when I went to the front desk at 12:30 he said that the room hadn't been cleaned yet due to other guests leaving at 11:00am. The parking lot was empty and there were no other guests to be seen anywhere else and when I drove by all the rooms could be seen through the windows all looking to be empty. I mentioned that I called at 7:00am and asked if he could allow me to arrive early and he said yes and that 11:30 was fine and it's 12:30pm now and he hasn't been able to clean the room yet. He explained again that no he couldn't because he was busy with an MMA convention in town. So I said no problem and he said he'd call me in an hour when the room is ready. I drive around the back to my parking spot and pass a beat up old refrigerator in the parking lot, clothing scattered on the ground, a few dumpsters, and just trash everywhere. So he calls and says my room is ready and when I go in I'm walking on dirt and debris all over the floors. I look in the bathroom and there is used soaps wrappers and tons of hair all over in the shower and bathroom. Luckily I brought a few blankets for the drive with me so I laid those out over the bed and crashed exhausted for 2 hours. I wake up and get a better look at the place and it is totally disgusting everywhere with nothing at all cleaned, not the shower, not the toilet, not either sink, not the floors, not the windows, not the coffee maker nor toaster. There's even a woman's nail on the floor and a huge yellow piss stain on the white sheets that I see once I lift my blankets off the bed. I call the manager and tell him the situation and ask for a refund. He tells me he'll need to call the owner and call me back. When he calls back he tells me that he'll refund my second night but not my first night. I tell him that there is no way that I am paying for either night under these poor conditions. He says to me "why did it take you 3 hours to decide it's dirty" I told him it didn't take me 3 hours, I noticed it the second I walked in the room but like I had explained to him I had been driving straight for 16 hours and was exhausted and need to rest and when I woke back up I was able to go over the room better. I asked him to come to the room so he could see for himself the filth of the hairs everywhere, woman's broken nail, piss stain on the bed, etc. I even mentioned that when I first arrived I had asked if I could use the lobby restroom and when I did, that restroom looked as though it hadn't been cleaned in years with pubic hairs and piss all over the urinals. He finally agree to refund my money. Luckily, an amazing hotel called Black Swan called me seconds later and had said they had a cancelation and offered me their Romeo and Juliet room which was AMAZING!! Do yourself a favor and DO NOT book a room at Super "Motel" 6 and book at Black Swan instead! You'll thank me! read more

Room was newly renovated which was nice but, location is sketchy and in the ghetto. at the front desk there were flyers about trafficking which I have never seen at a hotel let alone the front desk, but what makes it weird was the guests lingering around felt unsafe and we had a stalker our whole stay and he came to our room knocking on our door at 4am he also tried to impersonate a housekeeper. The pictures are lies. This place was a dump under repair. Our door had plaster over a big punch hole and needed painting. Towels scrawny and smelly, old mattresses with no bedspreads, noisy at night, parking lot trashy, and desk staff who weren't there (you had to call on a phone and sometimes they wouldn't even come out). This has a strong likelihood of being your worst motel experience ever, it was for me. I already had previous dealings with this location earlier in the week where they treated me very dishonestly. I have been fighting them through my bank for a refund. I bought a room for what I thought was the 13th of February but due to a glitchy website issue with Priceline I was given the wrong date of reservation and immediately called Priceline to try to have them modify it but they called this Motel 6 and were told no. I had to call this location and spoke to an employee named Yuvraj who told me it was their mistake to not consent to cancelling the false date and all I had to do was to call Priceline and have them call back to this Motel 6 one more time and they would fix the issue. I needed a room for the weekend date and went ahead and made a second reservation for the 13th. It turned out Motel 6 again lied and refused the refund. Then when we arrived on Thursday the 13th we found the bathroom was filthy. The rim of the toilet had yellow stains and hair, the floor was sticky and grimy from not having been mopped. The sink was backed up and sludge was coming up instead of draining after use. A member of my party had to go buy cleaning supplies to clean the bathroom. read more

I stayed here on my trip to Idaho to help my brother move into his new house. This place was lacking customer service in a big way. My sister in law has a newborn (4 weeks) and they wouldn't give us any extra pillows. They said they didn't have any. By the parking lot there is no way occupancy could have even be 50%. We asked for the pillows at 9 PM so I doubt they were going to fill up. We had two rooms and they just felt dirty. The bathrooms had hair on the floors. There is no telling how long ago the top comforters were washed. The location is convent, but I don't think I would ever return. I think there are better options in the area for the money. read more

We have been staying here on an annual basis for at least 5 years. This is a CLEAN Motel 6 overall. This is a working man's motel and one will frequently see building/road construction and fire crews staying here. Occasionally, we see families here too. One time, we noticed an A/C unit did not work and the management was glad to move us to another unit that did work. In the summer, it is mandatory for us to have A/C in the room! Management has been considerate of guests (us). They let us know that their water softener unit was being replaced and to expect the water to be off for about 3-4 hours (while we were away). Reasonably priced for the area. About $40-50/night. Would recommend this Motel 6 (I don't recommend all of them.). It rates a '5 out of 5' amongst other Motel 6s, but give it a '4 out of 5' when it compares to other motels. Don't let the nearby empty businesses and weed-filled field scare you. Just try to be indoors at night! ;-) read more

Hands down this was the most disgusting hotel I've ever had the misfortune of staying in. The lobby of the hotel smelled like stale cigarettes. There were long black hairs all throughout the room, most noticeable on the towels and sheets. The floor was laminate, not carpet, and had clearly not been swept of mopped in some time. We were too afraid to walk around without shoes on, that's how gross this room was. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and the comforters had stains on them. The towels were dingy gray and smelled strongly of bleach which was actually a little comforting. The bathroom looked cleanish but was out of date and dingy looking. There was mold on the shower ceiling. The lady at the front desk was nice and I didn't hear any other tenants during my stay. What else can you expect from a Motel 6? read more

There are also some shady characters who like to hang around here; I was kept up most of the night by an individual shouting (either to himself or others) and making strange noises whilst pacing round the upper level. This motel is a run down old school motel. Mold in the showers the sink diffusers are gone so th the water goes all over hell. No fridge or microwave bad thermostat. Was in there for 4 days had to get new door lock cards 8 times cause we were locked out every time we came back to the motel. Beds are small. We stayed here the last three nights. Definitely would of left if the city of Pocatello wasn't sold out for a state wrestling tournament. This wash cloth is from wiping the nightstand and remote off the evening we arrived.I almost puked. When I got out of bed, my toes accidentally went under the bed a little...the floor was dirty and rough! You could tell when the floor gets mopped with a dirty mop bucket. Absolutely discussing. The dirt was built up around the floor edges especially in the bathroom door frame. Blood was splattered by the toilet. We used our towels to clean the room and were surprised we we returned and the room was untouched. Rooms are only serviced every other day. So we had to go ask for clean towels. Fortunately, we had brought our own blanket and pillows. The last day the room was "serviced" and the sink wasn't even cleaned. I am blond and my husband is bald after our room was serviced there was a brunette hair ball in the corner. I understand you get what you pay for with amenities but cleanliness should be expected! Bedbugs in room 292. Stayed there the night on Nov 26th 2017 and found multiple bedbugs in the bedding. Some already had blood in them. There was even dead ones under the bed, which hadn't been swept in a while. Thoroughly discusting. We had turned our rental car in so decided to try another room, scarry I know, at 10pm we were getting tired. I went to the office and showed the clerk samples. He wouldn't get near them and insisted I kill one that was still crawling. He said the only other room available was a handicapped room with a smaller bed, funny though, the motel parking lot was empty. We removed the bedding and thoroughly inspected the room, which looked bug free, so we took it. To date no one from Motel 6 has said anything. No apology for having to change rooms in the middle of the night. No apology for a smaller bed. No apology for having to sanitize our clothes and luggage when we got home. No acknowledgement there was a problem or action they plan to take to prevent other guests from being subjected to them. I even put an inquiry on their website,...nothing. I was a little concerned due to my experiences with Motel 6's in the past, but I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was extremely nice and our room was really clean. This hotel isn't bad it actually pretty good for a motel 6. The rooms are kinda small but they do has wood floors which is kinda nice. The room I have has a fridge with a Separate freezer compartment there is also a microwave. The pool is kinda small and is only 5 feet deep. The bathroom is really nice. The shower seems like something a Star Trek teleporter. But it is kinda small though. Now on to the problems. The wifi I think isn't free. The last at the desk didn't tell us about a price but gave us 4 passwords for the wifi. The central AC(I prefer through the wall cause they're usually better and the hotel can't remotely turn it off *cough cough Hilton cough cough* ) hardly blows any air! My family and I recently stayed at the motel 6. The photos on the website looked OK as well as the area. When we arrived it was pretty scary looking we booked two rooms one with 2 double beds a fridge and microwave and the other bedroom with a queen both nonsmoking. One room that was suppose to be non smoking was clearly a smoking room also cigarette burns on the bed the AC did not work at all the room was so hot we immediately asked to be moved we paid $149 for one room and $149 for the other. The other room we was put up in had dried up blood on the doorway of the bathroom door as well as other crap behind the bathroom door the water was very low pressured no complementary shampoo/conditioner just a little bar of soap and two very small towels we continued to ask for more towels for both rooms we only got two. The towels that were in the room when we arrived look as if it was used to wipe the floor and hung to dry. Very rude housekeeping workers (owners?) That would pound on the door 9 am in the morning to see if your out the last day we were there they knocked on the door so loud (9am) my daughter woke up screaming we could barely understand the man it sounded like he said I thought you checked out? Mind you check out time is at noon it was a really weird stay. The trash outside was over loaded all over the ground. If I paid $30 a night I wouldn't be to upset but 2 days for $149 was totally not worth it! I would not recommend this hotel at all. The T.V. could barely see what you were watching WiFi did not work at all. I would give this place 0 stars. read more

This place was pretty basic, but we sure were glad to have a place for the night. Good location, nearby the mall and shops, next to the walmart and many business. The rooms were pretty clean, and the girl at the front desk was pretty friendly. We left a ring in the room, and when we called to ask about it, it wasn't found....kind of hard to miss though, it was left on the table, all alone...Anyway they had coin-op laundry, and vending machines, and two queen beds. If I could've gotten a refund I would have checked out immediately after laying on the bed. Our budget had not yet fully been approved but Motel 6 Pocatello worked with us despite; understanding the entire situation. Upon arriving at our room the linen was dirty and after get another room we pulled out the night stand and found a broken meth pipe under the stand which best describes the cleaning of the rest of the room but after driving 14 hours the beds were clean and it was bed time. Before we left my wife went to do some laundry and seen a bunch of syringe needle caps under the stairs out side. So at the end of the day if you are looking for a dope hookup this is the place to be but if a clean and comfortable environment is what you want might want to look next door at the Ramada inn. read more

Charged extra for Wi-Fi that doesn't work. There is no way I am staying there again. Not only could they not fix the problem but moving to another room was no help either. Both rooms were dirty in there own special way. Stains everywhere, bad cable reception, very limited channel lineup, and the room was unbelievably hot. The ac did nothing but blow more hot air. The window barely opened so I slept out of the covers. I bet I lost ten pounds just being there one night. Not worth stopping and staying at thus motel six. The one in Twin falls is worth the extra effort to get to if you want a cheap comfortable room that actually has internet access so you can stay up to date on your work and even check your email. read more

Just keep driving. Don't do it. We checked into a room here very late with our family of 4, having made the reservation by phone an hour beforehand. Even in the dark I could tell right away, when I took off my shoes, that the room had not been cleaned. The floor had stuff all over it. When I went into the bathroom, I found feces flattened onto the tile grout in front of the toilet, and a big tangle of hair with something brown stuck in it beside the toilet. The shower was dirty. There was no toilet paper in the room, and we had to call the front desk to bring some. Basically, it seemed like they'd been renting out the room on an hourly basis. It was too late to leave and find anywhere else, but I didn't sleep at all and was really worried about what we might take away from our room with us! Absolutely filthy and disgusting. I got emails requesting a review of our stay, and called Motel 6 customer service. Several days later I received an email from VJ, the manager at this location, apologizing for the poor quality of experience, and encouraging us to use the "enclosed free night certificate" to try Motel 6 again. There was no certificate enclosed, and when I emailed him back to let him know he did not respond. Several weeks and several phone calls later, I got him on the phone, and he said he had sent me the "wrong email", and that he "doesn't give out free night certificates", and he would have to talk to his manager. He didn't call me back. Got him on the phone a few days later, and he basically said the same thing. Later, the front desk guy called me back and offered me half of our money back. I gave up at that point, but if they cared at all, and if they felt that our experience was anything out of the ordinary at their motel, they should have refunded all of our money and given us at least on free night certificate, which is the ONLY way I'd ever set foot in any Motel 6 again. When I was a kid, Motel 6 was a nice, clean place to spend a night on a family road trip for a reasonable price. This has definitely changed. read more
