We LOVE Annie and Mother Rock Star Dogs. We have been boarding our GSP here since 2011 and every time we drop Sadie off, she gets so excited. Seeing her trot away with Annie and not look back when we leave speaks volumes and puts our minds at ease while we are away. Sadie is always exhausted when we pick her up from all of the running and play time she gets on the property. Several times, Sadie has needed medication for minor issues during her stay and Annie administered it without hesitation. Annie is also extremely accommodating when it comes to the drop off/pick up times. She even has given us random tips here and there when asked. We now live in the Fort Worth area and refuse to board Sadie anywhere here because we know that no place will compare to MRSD. Annie/MRSD is truly a gem!!! :) read more

They get to run around out in the country and have fun with their friends, and are always happy and exhausted when they come home. We absolutely love to board our dogs with Annie! They always come back absolutely exhausted because they have been outside for 8 hours (with no extra playtime fees). We don't even call it boarding because they aren't in a crate or a pen all day....they get to run outside and for this reason, we call it The Ranch! Annie is the icing on the cake-she is the perfect mother hen to watch over your pups and a great person to chat and catch up with when you are dropping off or picking up. Oh yeah and food is included in your boarding rate (good quality food)! I will say I was hesitant for 2 reasons at first-1) the distance out of town and 2) the pricing is structured differently than most boarding places. But 1) it is really not that far out of town and it is totally worth every mile to have your dogs come home happy and exhausted from running at the ranch. And 2) it's just a different pricing structure that was MY fault for not paying attention when I read it. So pay attention and you won't be surprised but pleasantly happy when you realize you don't have to pay more to pick up at 6pm instead of noon! We cannot even begin to express how much we ALL love this place. Annie is incredible, kind, understanding, and flexible. We have a chocolate lab, Drake. Within 15 minutes of him being there we had a picture sent to us of him basking in one of their pools for the pups. When we picked him up after 3 days, he slept for the next 3 days. Then, when we took him back he bolted out to the fence and didn't even look back..."BYE DAD, DON'T WORRY ABOUT COMING BACK!" LOL It's an amazing property and just over all perfect. What can I say about Mother Rock Star Dogs that truly captures the heart of this place. I had heard about MRSD while at auditorium shores on more than one occasion so it was always in the back of my mind. I told my partner about it and went crazy looking for it online only to find out I had the name all wrong. Once I made contact with Annie it was super easy to get everything set up. I was a little hesitant at first since I had not done the initial walk through to get a feel for the place but I figured if people were talking about it in a positive light what could be so bad. I believe that first impressions make a lasting impression and Annie had already won me over during our telephone conversation. Needless to say I couldn't wait to see this place. Upon arriving Annie made it so easy and smooth. Annie knows what she's doing and gets how dogs work. Annie made sure Sonny and Charley were at ease and not bombard them with all the dogs that were on the property, including her own. Annie made sure to introduce the dogs to her own as well as the other ones she was boarding in an appropriate manner. Annie didn't reassure me by telling me to be reassured. Annie reassured me by her actions. Annie is a doer. Annie showed me who she is and what her business represents. The dogs were there Fri-Sun and Annie texted me Saturday to let me know they were fine. It was nice knowing that Annie takes the time out of her schedule to let me know how they are doing considering it was stressful for us simply because we wanted to make sure our dogs made a good impression. When we picked them up on Sunday we were met by Annie who always appears to be in a great mood and always has a smile for you. Annie let us know how the dogs did and shared her knowledge of dogs with us. Annie did not just share her advice but gave it when we shared our frustration on our 9 month old Charley. Annie's demeanor and presence shows me that I can trust her and family to take care of our kiddos the way we would treat them if not better. I appreciate that Annie is good about making sure our dogs play well with others. I LOVE the setup she has and I couldn't ask for anything else. The dogs were beat and exhausted from having free range of her yard as well as playmates to be dogs with. It's nice having peace of mind when you're out of town knowing the dogs will have supervised playtime and someone to make sure your dog feels like they are at home as well. Annie! This place is awesome! They are super friendly and accommodating. They have lots of outdoor space where the dogs spend most of their time running around. Annie is awesome! These people are true dog lovers. My dog thinks of her place as her home away from home. Dogs are cherished and respected. The best part is that they get so much time outside, fresh air, exercise, and socialization. My dog is older and I worry about her being kenneled for long stints - and I don't have to worry a bit with Annie. She is attentive to each dogs personality and recognizes the need to separate some from others, if the need arises. They are located very close to the airport. We love Annie and Mother Rock Star! We just picked up our dog, Betty, from probably her 10th stay this year and we are so glad we found this place. Betty has pretty severe leash aggression and needs a lot of time to get acclimated to other dogs so just leaving her with friends never felt fair and we knew she would never pass a behavior test of being thrown into a mega daycare type place. Annie was understanding and accommodating - during Betty's first stay over the summer she slowly let her get acclimated and eventually introduced her with the right group of dogs and she's done well every stay since then. Annie and team are easy to communicate with and the pricing is very reasonable. We are so glad we found a great place for our senior girl (who is currently passed out in the backseat after her latest stay!!!). read more

I have told my wife more than once that if Annie ever doesn't have an opening for our two dogs -- we just can't go away! We have used Mother Rock Star Dogs for over three years, probably between 15 and 20 times, and have always loved it. Annie treats our dogs as well (probably better) than we do. Our second dog was actually a rescue that Annie had been taking care of and got along so well with our first on a visit that we took him home. It's at the point now that all I have to do is put their two dog beds by the front door and they know they're going to "Annie's." This gets them jumping out of their skin with joy because it's like going to camp. I can't recommend Mother Rock Star Dogs enough! read more

I picked up my dog today after her first stay at Mother Rockstar Dogs. What a fabulous place! My pup was obviously so comfortable and happy there. She got to run around and explore and play with several other pups. Annie made sure they were compatible before placing them together. The property is lovely and clean. Not at all smelly. It is clearly well-maintained. The fencing around the property is triple layered to insure no escapes. High quality food is included in the very reasonable daily rate. Unlike the big pet stores who board and the vets, here the dogs are out most of the time. My dog got home around 5 today and she has been asleep on the couch the entire evening. Clearly exhausted and content after her wonderful week with Annie. I am so happy to have found these folks! Now, when I go out of town I can rest assured there is someone taking care of my puppy and giving her a great holiday! read more
