Your fur babies will be well cared for at Pampered Paws. Courtney and Tina are phenomenal at their trade. My babies always smell so good when I pick them up. They are very careful when trimming the nails and cleaning their ears. I am always happy with the services rendered. I definitely recommend them, you will not be disappointed. They are moderately priced, and it's very clean. Be advised that you must make an appointment they get booked up quickly.

These are my cats. They're camera shy. We wouldn't take them anywhere else.

These are my cats who are camera shy. I caught her when she wasn't aware. Lol. I wouldn't trust them with anyone else except the folks at Pampered Paws. The gals there are awesome.

Does this look like a freshly groomed dog? Look how crooked her hair is!!

Dropped off my girls at 8:10am & they were not ready for over 7 hours! One other dog there first; they said they had a very picky client and that's why it took so long, so I asked If they had taken my girls out to urinate and they said NO! No water, Not taken out in over 7 hours?!! I don't even think they bathed one of my girls because she smells rancid! Needless to say we will never be going back here again! You make an appointment for a reason. I wonder how many other people today got told that their dog had to sit there for seven hours because of one picky client! My girls did not deserve this kind of treatment!

Recently moved to Bastrop and was looking for a grooming place for my dog, Dusty. I saw this small place along hwy 71 so i stopped and walked in. Ladies were very welcoming. I didn't have an appointment for my dog but they were open to take my dog in. A few hours after dropping Dusty off I get the call that he's ready. Let me just say, I was very impressed with the work the groomer did. Dusty and I are very happy. We have found his new groomer. #HappyDog #SupportingLocalBusinesses

Took care of my Service dog Jax, cutting his nails at the best price in town. Eventually did house calls for him since I can't drive.

I have a difficult but wonderful dog and would trust her nail trim to no one else but Tina and Kourtnie.

The Bastrop Vet Clinic is first class, everyone is very knowledgeable about animals, great…read morepersonalities, and always willing to go the extra mile for your fur kid or any animal you may own. I believe there prices are very fair and easy to work with you and your schedule. Thank you Bastrop Vet for taking care of my fur kids!

I am extremely disappointed with how Bastrop Veterinary Hospital handled my dog's appointment…read moretoday. My dog is a Great Dane with advanced dilated cardiomyopathy, atrial fibrillation, and congestive heart failure. He is essentially on hospice care and takes more than 30 medications a day. Because of his severe heart condition, his cardiologist has instructed that he cannot be vaccinated due to the risk to his heart. Bastrop Veterinary Hospital already knows this. My dog has been treated there before, including earlier this year when they performed tests that were ordered by his cardiologist. They have our account, his medical history, and all of this information on file. I scheduled a nail trim appointment because my dog is in pain from overgrown nails and he will not allow me to trim them at home. I explained his medical condition in the appointment notes and that he is reactive and would need to be handled carefully. Before the appointment, the clinic even called and left a voicemail reminding me to give him anxiety medication before coming in. I still had trazodone from a previous visit, so I medicated him 90 minutes before the appointment exactly as instructed. Getting him to the clinic is not easy. Car rides are extremely stressful for him because of his advanced heart disease. I specifically chose this clinic because it is close to my home and minimizes that stress. When we arrived, I told them I would wait in the car because he does not do well around other dogs. They initially agreed. However, they then brought me inside and had me wait in the lobby anyway while they prepared a room, which immediately put him into a stressful situation I had asked to avoid. When they finally took him to the back, I placed a muzzle on him and tightened it to make sure he could not get it off so that staff would be safe. They told me it would only take a moment. Six minutes later, someone came out with a clipboard and told me they could not perform the nail trim because he is not vaccinated. This was shocking and extremely frustrating. They already knew my dog's medical history. They had treated him previously without vaccinations because of his severe heart condition. They had just called me beforehand to ensure he was medicated for the visit. Yet no one bothered to mention that they would refuse treatment once I arrived. Instead, they let me go through the process of medicating a critically ill dog, putting him through the stress of a car ride, muzzling him, and waiting, only to tell me after the fact that they wouldn't help him. My dog is in pain because his nails cannot be trimmed safely at home, which is exactly why I brought him to professionals. If the clinic had simply called ahead of time and said they could not perform the service, that would have been understandable. Instead, they put a very sick dog through unnecessary stress and wasted our time. It was incredibly disappointing and frankly unacceptable.
