    CONSUMER WARNING If…read moreyou purchased an in-house warranty from Snow's during the last few months, you should review your paperwork immediately. Information indicates that the company knew for months that it would be closing its doors. Despite this, in-house warranties continued to be sold to customers up until the end without telling them they would be void upon closing. The Washington State Attorney General's Office (AGO) aggressively prosecutes businesses that knowingly sell worthless service contracts or hide imminent closures. There are also allegations that some customers were told the store was "moving" or was just not told Intentionally that the company was permanently closing. This was all told for staff to do so by owner Cary Snow, to defraud customers to fund his new businesses before shutting the doors and walking away from the community that have spent their hard earned money supporting a business that doesnt care about them. If you purchased a warranty based on the understanding that the business would continue operating, you may want to carefully review the circumstances surrounding your purchase. Many customers paid extra money (or was included in their purchase) for warranty protection expecting there would be a business available to honor those agreements. With only one week remaining before the store closes permanently, customers who have questions about their warranties should seek answers as soon as possible. Customers deserve clear information about what happens to the warranties they purchased. If you purchased an in-house warranty recently: * Locate and save all receipts and warranty paperwork. * Write down everything you were told at the time of purchase. * Contact consumer protection agencies if you believe you were misled. * Consider speaking with a consumer protection attorney to understand your rights. *contact the better business bureau immediately and make a report. The more people that report the more likely they will move faster. Please share this post to any and all social media you can, so anyone who purchased an in-house warranty from Snow's in recent months has the opportunity to review their situation and make informed decisions. Mr. Snow needs to be held accountable for his egregious actions to the community. This also may be seen in local news stories and articles to help spread the news. In early 2025,…read moremy 2014 Ram 2500 Powerwagon had a bad tick and it turned out to be a bad lifter that wore the camshaft... long story short, I needed a new 6.4l hemi for my truck. I got quotes for it from about 11 different mechanics. I went with 5 MILE AUTO CENTER because of the communication and the transparency of what was included and how much each item would cost. The work was done in the promised timeframe and they kept me informed on the progress and answered questions every time I had them. Then when I came in after done work and made my final payment I was informed that not everything they quoted was needed and they were able to do the work for less than what they thought and agreed on. THEY WERE TOTALLY HONEST AND ACTUALLY CHARGED ME OVER $500.- LESS !!!! I could not believe it! I have not met anyone like that!! Then later on after about 2 weeks, the fan was still much louder than I was used to (turned out my old fan clutch was actually broken and that is why it was so quiet) he replaced it and put in a new one, all under warranty, did not charge me a dime! In addition they topped off my transmission fluid which was low, for no charge at all. My experience with 5 MILE AUTOMOTIVE CENTER could not have been more pleasant! A huge shout out to the 5 MAC and everyone who works there, I d recommend them for any work you need done on your car! They are HONEST, CARING and TRUSTWORTHY, and of course, my truck runs like a champ now!! Will take all my vehicles there if I ever need anything.

I was told that they make battery cables so I thought we'll cool I'll go in and get a battery cable made, so I pulled my battery cables out of my pickup and took him in and they realized how intricate the battery cables were from a dual battery system and at first they were like oh we can't make that one. Ben Tanner's book up says I can do that, and you did I am very impressed with Tanners work he made great joints the cables were good value and he made the cables look nice, I actually believe they're better cables than what came on my pick up from the factory. I've been coming to this particular store for several years now and they have been able to provide me with every single part I have needed, sometimes they've even gone out of their way to locate the product that they don't stock and find it and get it for me. The employees seem to be fairly knowledgeable generally speaking about every vehicle and what they don't know they know how to find out. A while ago I took an alternator in to another store because I was closer, to have it tested and they said they couldn't test my particular alternator. I wasn't quite sure that they were correct about that so I came to this store and ask them to test the alternator and they were able to test it just fine. I completely recommend this particular store, it's worth my time to drive out of my way to come to this store and work with these awesome people.
