He didn't have the correct part on his vehicle, but went out of his way to go get the part and return so that we could get some cool air going again. He was polite and quick with the repair. I have been using Carrollton Plumbing for several years so I have a history with them. I kind of gave them a blank check to find and fix the leak. This is not a thing I would do with any other business. (They did give me an estimate.) I have been bit by so many business in the 25 years here in Carrollton. Since finding Carrollton Plumbing several years ago I have had to call them several times and I trust them. They fixed my leaks. Yes more than one and made separate repairs that turned up while they were here. Something needs to be understood I am not related to and do not have any financial interest in Carrollton Plumbing. I do not recommend giving a blank check to any business unless you personally Trust them. I trust Carrollton Plumbing. The Trucks state "Best Plumber in Texas" and I believe it.

I recently received a water bill that was 4x the prior month, with not add'l water usage. I called CPS and the very next day they sent Luke and Jared out to test for leaks. The guys could have jumped straight into a more expense test with the main box, but instead they were methodically, went water device by water device (ie, sinks, faucets, washing machine, each toilet to see if any of those were leaking - also finding the fittings to my toilets were original to the 1983 house (which I had them replace - for a reasonable price). The last test proved (we hope - haven't' received a bill yet) was a leaky toilet. Yet they went ahead and then tested the main controller, first the house then the irrigation system. Fortunately, no pressure change - so all was good (whew!). Best of all Luke explained all the way through what he was doing and spoke in a way I could understand what he was doing. I reviewed Google and NextDoor extensively for reviews/recommendations. They all kept leading me to Dean's Air Conditioning and Heating!! I am so happy and pleased I went with Dean's!!! He was able to assess the problem and offered more than one solution, which no one else had done previously. He broke down each solution with his anticipated outcomes and his best recommendation; he only sold what was needed. Since my furnace works fine, there was no need for a whole new system. He is genuinely kind, honest and fair. Dean and his partner were able to come out the next morning and install the new AC unit, he kept me informed of the process and what to expect; he would also check on me to make sure I was ok/good. They worked efficiently between the inside and outside; it took just under four hours total to complete. I highly and greatly recommend Dean with Dean's Air Conditioning and Heating. He's my definite go to person now for my HVAC needs.

He said to call an HVAC guy QUICK because that is usually an indication of a serious issue and it could cause real damage to the house. He made it sound really urgent but I had no idea who to call or how much this would cost so I went to NextDoor. Lo and behold, the first recommendation was from my brother talking about how great Dinh is! And bro was right! Dinh was very responsive on text (which made it super convenient since I'm on work calls all day), and he was able to come out the same afternoon. Man, am I glad he did. I wasn't concerned that he would overcharge me since I'd gotten reassurance from my bro that he was an honest/decent guy. He went straight to work, took pics of the attic and showed me that I was within weeks/months of a major catastrophe with the overflowing water seeping thru and eventually crashing into the house. He pinpointed the issue exactly, which was a clogged up sink that the AC drains to. I imagined other HVAC guys would've stopped and said, I'm not a plumber so you'll need to get someone to unclog all that crap before I can continue OR this is not part of my service, which I could do for you, but then overcharge you in the end. Well, Dinh went right in there and cleaned it out and resolved the issue. His pricing was super reasonable and for what he removed from my sink, I think I owe HIM. But seriously, who knew that water dripping on the side of the house has anything to do with your AC unit...OR that to save your roof from collapsing in, that you'd have to unclog your sink??? Well, thankfully there are experts like Dinh who knows exactly that and will charge you fairly for his work. Will happily use him for my yearly maintenance and def recommend!

He offered us an appointment the same day and, working from home, he gave us advance notice when the work would get noisy so not to interrupt our meetings. As he worked, he offered information and insight that would help us care for our air conditioner in the future and improve its efficiency. I can confidently say I've never experienced a more excellent service professional. Our air conditioner is aging and isn't perfect, but the leaks are largely gone and the unit is cooling so much faster than it has before. On Monday, June 15 they came out to meet me and the realtor at the vacant house that I would be purchasing within a couple of days. I asked the technician for a couple of estimates and to al find out where the water shut off valve is located. While I was inside the house meeting with the pest control company the technician came in and asked if he could show me something. We went outside and he explained that the water shut off valve broke off when he shut off the water. He acted confused and asked what he was supposed to do indicating that he thought I should pay for them to repair their mistake. I said he needed to fix what he broke and I wasn't even the owner of the house yet and that I did not ask him to shut off the water but only to simply find where it was located. The technician went on to say that if I was going to order work on other items that they would deduct the price from the estimates of other items that I was considering. I said again this was not my problem and that they had to fix what they broke because I was not even the owner of the house yet. He then said he had to go call his boss and then he spent a long time in the car on the phone while I was waiting. We then contacted the company ourselves and explain the issue and they said they would fix it. The technician came back inside and said he couldn't fix it at that time and would have to come back. He also emailed me estimates for some of the other items I was considering. The prices that they quoted to me were absolutely ridiculous. For example for them just to install a water softener that I would go to Home Depot and purchase was $1650. Installation for a tankless hot water heater was close to $5000. When I asked him to figure out why the gas fireplace wouldn't ignite or why the Jets in the tub would not work he barely spent any time figuring that out and said they would have to come back. Based upon my experience with this company and the fact that they did not want to take responsibility for what he did which is break some thing that they were looking at an acted like I had to pay for it I would never use them. In fact please do not use this company if this is the kind of work they do. Totally incompetent and they did not want to take responsibility for their screw up. Just awful. Stay away. Update 6/28/20: The owner of the business contacted me and asked me to remove this review because they fixed the problem. I do not believe in doing that and I believe what I am seeing is truthful. Just because he fix the problem doesn't change the history of what happened. Also for reference I have since had a water softener installed for $1000 total including the softener which directly contradicts what the owner of this business claimed saying that it's very expensive to have water softeners install. A total bunch of BS profit taking nonsense. Do not use this business

They repaired my easy fix, so I give 2 stars, but told me it would be $100 service call or I could sign up for $179 service package they want to lock you into and then come back later and upsell you more costly repairs. He then came back in the house and conveniently changed service call fee from $100 to $165. I've never been quoted a price after work was done and then had it switched. This was only because he thought I would sign up for $179 service nonsense. I'm in sales, I wish I could change my pricing anytime I wanted. Again, seek elsewhere unless you can get Dale back in a uni.
