Unfortunately the folks at Wheelwold bicycles in Santa Monica don't communicate well as John told be they would hold the bike for me to pickup the next day (same as what you sold me) and I could get it the next day. Which I planned on doing Until they sold it after I returned the bike I bought from you. I brought my new 300 for it's first service and the owner told me he couldn't work on my scooter and to come pick it up because I asked him what type of oil did he plan to use for the service. This guy is extremely rude and doesn't want to hear any opinion other than his own. I'm a petroleum engineer so oil is kind of my thing and for me to ask such a basic question and be asked to pick up the scooter after I dropped it off without working on it is why you can read so many poor reviews from so many people. I recently took the Park Tool class with Cory, and now I have a better understanding of what a bike mechanic legend is. His extensive bicycle knowledge was very apparent as soon as I saw him tinkering with bikes or my bike for that matter. I am extremely grateful that I didn't procrastinate or pass on taking the course. It was a fantastic experience and I was able to swap and upgrade parts on my bike "myself"--with Cory's support. I am honored I was able to do this with assistance from Cory. Since then, I have decided that, as long as circumstances allow, I will always take my bikes to their shop for servicing. I highly recommend both the course and their shop to anyone. You will not regret it.
