    Mafaldine truffle funghi Crema

Great portions, good flavours Atmosphere: The restaurant is very large, with an outdoor patio and dozens of tables inside. We were seated near the kitchen, and it was a very casual atmosphere with families and friends at several tables, with a few large groups and mostly smaller tables of 3 or 4. Food: The portions were very good, considering the menu pricing. The pizza was much larger than a typical individual pizza, with loads of arugula on our chiaro pizza. The wood burning style pizza was not too charred, and had a nice crispy crust with a hint of chew. The flavour of the pizza was a bit on the lighter side, with the tomato not coming through and it was mainly the arugula and proscuitto taste. The malfadine pasta was also a fairly good portion, albeit lacking in some creaminess. The pasta had a strong mushroom truffle flavour, as it should, and was more earthy than creamy. Service: The servers were a bit too out of the way and it was difficult to flag them down for napkins, water, and even the bill. It may have been where we were sat, or perhaps because they had a few large tables to take care of, but it was a bit lacking. Good hearty meal if we can't make the trek to Vaughan, may drop by again to try another pizza and pasta on the menu.

    Nudja pizza

Enjoyed dinner here, we tried 2 pastas and 1 pizza and it didn't disappoint. We tried the nudja pizza and it had a hot honey drizzle that was the perfect sweetness. The pastas were good too but nothing special. We got the penne vodka and mushroom truffle. Both were okay. Service was friendly and quick.

I would probably give it 3 1/2 if I could. Went for a family dinner on Friday. Enjoyed the polenta fries, and arancini appetizers. Our appetizers were hit and miss. The avocado primers pasta and Siciliana pizza were under seasoned but were much better after adding some chilli flakes, salt and fresh pepper. My boys enjoyed the eggplant parmigiana and the pomodoro pasta. Tried the crème brûlée and tiramisu desserts. Both were very good.

Just tried Motorino, a great Italian restaurant located on borders of King city. What a great spot, the food was amazing and the service is superb! We tried many different items from the menu, and each item we tried was just Great! Our server Neeraj was great, professional and helpful with the menu and made us some great suggestions.

We visit Motorino Downtown location regularly and thought we would try out the King location. However I am very disappointed with the quality at this location. The amount of spicy sausage on the Nduja pizza was laughable, there was less than a quarter of the amount normally. Refer to the photo.

UOVA IN PURGATORIO - super salty

We were super excited to come here for brunch seeing how unique their menu were but we were thoroughly disappointed. The menu sounded better than it taste and look. Starting off with the eggs Benedict, it was just 2 tiny eggs on toast with bacon and one the egg was fully cooked. There were no sides, just a few wilted fruits as garnish. Moving on to the uova in purgatoria, served with two croissants and bacon, it was super salty that we couldn't even eat it. We told our waitress about the overwhelming salt level but they didn't offer to remake it for us or take it off the menu. That was disappointing from a service level. Lastly, the breakfast pizza, it's was nothing spectacular, literally just dough, bacon and an egg. I noticed pretty much all their menu is served with bacon which to me, lacks creativity and variety. I will certainly not come back for their brunch menu again. Perhaps their lunch and dinner menu is much better.

Hidden gem on King Road and Dufferin street. Beautifully decorated. Staff are welcoming and give good service. Great selection of food on the menu to choose from. They also feature daily specials. Girls night out we ordered a bunch of apps. We were so full we couldn't order the many different entrees offered. We started with the Zucchini flowers prepared in a light batter. Next was the deep fried calamari and shrimp with a lemon roasted garlic sauce on the side. Again delicious. We followed this with the meatless eggplant balls in a tomato sauce and a stracietella cream brulee on top.and pizza Chairo dressed with tomatoes sauce, arugula, prosciutto, fiore Di latte cheese and shaved Parmesan. All so mouth watering delicious. Unfortunately no room for dessert. Definitely going back for more. Be sure to make reservations as they are very busy.

#Outstanding pizza!!! 5 With sautéed onions, radicchio, fresh tomatoes, basil and figs in port! Delicious!

Outstanding pizza -- a must try! They took a salad dish and put it on a pizza. Very creative pizza choices on the menu some with chickpeas, kale ... 6 types of crusts choose from avocado, chia seeds, and many more so good! The one in the photo was with figs in port, sautéed arugula, and onions, burrata! Amazing! Prices start at $18.

Eggplant pizza added hot soppresata was authentic.

Review is based on the two items- Battered Eggplant pizza and Spagheeti carbonara. They were excellent great flavours and textures. Its very rare for Italian restaurant with housemade fresh spaghetti normally linguine or something else. Will be back to checkout their pasta and pizza because of this.

    Frittata

Came for Sunday brunch and it was quite empty, it seems like no one really knows about their brunch hours on the weekends. We ordered a frittata and the french toast which were both pretty good. You can pick any number of toppings to put in the frittata. The French toast was stuffed with bananas and came with some fresh berries, which helped offset the sweetness of the toast and the syrup. Brunch items ranged from $12-$15 which I find well worth it considering brunch prices in Toronto. Only thing was that since the restaurant wasn't busy, service was a little slow especially since it's quite a large space.

Another great location for Motorino The food here is amazing. Finally a new menu that looks and tastes great. Been here enough to try almost the entire menu. All were excellent. Only miss was my pizza this evening. A feature ricotta pizza. Not a fan. Had too much cheese. Everything is really good and so is the wine. Love coming back.

We truly enjoyed our Saturday brunch today . Pleasant decor , wonderful service and yummy food. The only thing was disappointing is waters team that had nothing to do , so they had so loud conversations and laugh that was disturbing sometimes. Their supervisor or owner was around , but it looked like it was ok with him .

The restaurant is located at the corner of King Rd and Keele St. Parking was easy as you can park on the street in front of the restaurant (ofc if it is not packed) and there is also a parking lot on the other side of the road. The historic restaurant used to be an inn, now there are lots of seating with separate indoor dining areas and a lovely outdoor patio upstairs. They also have a pub downstairs with more outdoor seating. You can see a nice view of the corner street, pub outdoor seating, and the railway from the upstairs patio. We were fortunate to have a very kind and attentive server that evening. His well mannered service added to the pleasant dining experience. We ordered the Wild Mushroom salad, Herb Crusted Ontario Rack of Lambs ($59) and Chilean Sea Bass ($58). The lamb and sea bass were cooked exactly how we expected, with the sea bass especially crispy outside and soft inside. We felt the dishes were a bit pricey and could be improved like the sauce texture but overall there was plentiful portions and delicious. We enjoyed the Sea Bass and the dish's complement to it, so recommended if you want to splurge a lil! (They do have other variety on the menu to choose from.) We'll definitely keep this gem King City restaurant in mind for future trips coming from north and near GTA.
