do not go here under any circumstance, Medford Ford has had my vehicle for two months for a warranty recall that cannot be fixed at this time. They supplied me with a loaner vehicle and gave me less than two hours notice when they said they wanted it back when I explained to them I had no other vehicle if they took their loaner back as they weren't able to fix my Ford, and explained to them that I would not be able to pick up my children from camp or get to work the following day. One of their managers Jeff told me that it wasn't Medford Ford's problem and that if I didn't return the loaner he was going to send the police to my house. They then went to the wrong house and threatened my 76 year old mother with police action if she did not give them the loaner which had never been at her home. this should never even have been possible for them to mess up as they had a copy of my license from when they gave me the loaner. They eventually did find their way to my and loaner back. keep in mind when they gave me the loaner they never told me there was any time limit or mileage limit on it, and I have spoken to them on a weekly basis in the hopes that they will one day fix my vehicle And at no point did they ever give me any information as to a time limit for this vehicle. I hope this post helps keep anyone else from enduring the hardship that Medford Ford has forced upon me and my family. If you need service on a Ford, please go to any other Ford dealer in the state but never go to Medford Ford. read more

Don't bring your car here for maintenance. They do not care if you bring up a concern regarding your vehicle that needs to be fixed. They will tell you everything is fine until your broke down on the side of the road due to their negligence. And then they will try to charge you 4 times the price of the service to fix it. The manager won't call you back and they will lie to your face about the hours of labor they "worked" on your car just to charge more. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

You have too talk to them by phone or email so theirs no public proof of price gauging a car. They marked the car up by 12K. The excuse they used is "supply and demand". I am passing along a currently on-going issue. Our family purchased a 2016 Explorer from Medford Ford on 5/9/2022, the salesman was Tom Eckert. We purchased a Ford Extended warranty Premium care -Ultimate to cover the vehicle. Two days after picking the vehicle we realized the AC was not working and the Transmisson was thumping when going into reverse. We immediately made an appointment with Medford Ford to bring the vehicle back in. We were advised that the AC condenser is bad and that there is a confirmed issue with the transmission. We were told they could fix the AC but they did not have a transmission tech and we would need to go to another dealership. The next story was that they were waiting for repair approval. Multiple calls were made to service and sales, There was no reply form our salesman and then after being there for a week we were contacted by Kathy Suller advising us that the warranty will not be in effect for 30-40 days and we would need to come back then. She made it clear that there was nothing else Medford Ford would do for us. We are welcome to pickup the car and drive it until the time that the warranty kicks in. This is completely unacceptable and I would highly recommend not buying a vehicle from this dealership. I will update this post with further details so that you will not have to experience the lack of service that we are experiencing. If you want to pay more for your vehicle then you should come here, shop else where If want a much better deal. I've tried to support this local business and lease from Medford Ford 4 different times and every time these guys give an outrageous price and act like I'm out of my mind for wanting the deal I do when In reality I go to another dealer and get it. The service we received from Medford was excellent. The way the salesman John Scisly was attentive and answered all of our questions even when we were looking at the vehicle in the lot was awesome. The finance person, Dana came in on her day off just to complete the transaction because we live about an hour+ away. They went above and beyond to help me secure the best financing possible and the general manager John Trout (JT) called me to confirm that the finance manger approved a better rate and payment. The entire staff we encountered were attentive and made sure we comfortable while waiting to complete the purchase. Pending dealership response - they called back the next day - no offer to make the situation right - wish i could give ZERO stars! Here's the scoop: My girlfriend got a quote via her Sam's club membership on a Sunday night. I called first thing Monday morning and asked them to hold it for me til noon. I got there, looked at the car and started the purchase process. SVC MGR: "Wait - we can only sell it to the person in the email at that price." ME: "OK, can I sit here and apply for my own Sam's club membership and then buy the car with the Sam's club price?" SVC MGR: "Yeah sure..." So I did. And while I did... They raised the price by $900. I walked out - you should never walk in! Today they called back to ask if I'd "thought about" buying the car. ME: "Yes, I have, and I'll buy it now for the original Sam's Club price." THEM: "You can't get that price because I think there's a waiting period on your new membership before you can get..." ME: "You can stop right there. The price is now changed even when my girlfriend logs on, even though her offer supposedly doesn't expire until three days from now. This is no way to do business." read more

If I could rate the staff in this establishment at a zero I would. I dropped off my car to get it fixed. My car was given back to me twice with the assurance that it was fixed but it wasn't. They held my car for over a month and said "we fixed your clutch and the TCM." They didn't do anything at all. They lied every step of the way. They gave me a rental and since i had it so long, because they can't fix a car to save their life, they called me one morning 5 times leaving messages about needing the rental back asap. They also said your car is fixed and we'll drop it off at your house. They had some random girl drive my broken car to my house, say it's fixed and took the rental back. I wish I was wise to their trick but I was so relieved to have my car back that I didn't expect them to be so sleazy to lie just to get the rental back. I should of known better and test drove it before I gave the rental back. I never thought anyone would orchestrate such a deceitful plan to get their rental back. What an act they put on and especially the girl who drove it here!! Lied right to my face and said" it's all good". They are cheats and liars. I made a formal complaint and the manger didn't return my calls or emails. Not like he could even defend his actions or his staffs actions. The lengths they went through to not fix my car is mind boggling. I took my car to another shop and they said no work had been done to my car.. but Medford Ford swears they did.. how come it doesn't run then?? And why would you think it's cool to let someone drive a broken car?? I couldn't even get up to 30 mph without the car shuddering and stalling. That's dangerous!! But they don't care.. they wanted me gone and the rental back. Never dealt with such cheats. And they took the rental back full of the gas I put in it. Wanna guess how much they put in it for me when I got it?? One slash before empty. Real nice. Not surprised their rating is so low. Don't ever get your car fixed here!! Had my 2019 F250 Superduty diesel in for service here on 6-29-21. Asked for a synthetic oil change and the fuel filters to be changed. Picked it up in the afternoon and paid $348.00. Drove about 3.5 miles to my driveway and got out to see if anything was leaking and sure enough it was! Oil filter was placed on improperly and oil was dripping heavy all over my new concrete driveway. Also, they drained a full half tank of diesel when they changed the fuel filters. Had to shut the truck off and climb underneath with rubber gloves to tighten the filter better and then wipe off as much oil from my undercarriage/ exhaust/ driveway etc. I could have easily done this poor of a job myself. Called the service advisor and I'm still waiting back for a response . Do yourself a favor and go to a more technician qualified dealership. Thumbs down read more

OK, took the car back and get a call that they ordered the wrong sunroof. They have to order another ... 2-3 day wait without a car. When we asked about a loaner they told us that we could rent one. This wasn't their fault! We're stuck leaving the car and by the time it's repaired they'll have had it a week! We won't be going back here again. Sad, sad, customer service. When I told my wife I thought we should drive over the bridge into New Jersey to buy my next car she asked me why. Why not go to CarSense, right down the street? If something goes wrong, she said, they have a great warranty on all their vehicles.  Honestly, I asked myself the same question. At the time, I didn't have an answer, but now, after having bought from Medford Ford, my answer is this: Medford Ford took better care of me than any other dealership. Initially, they gave me an amazing price on a great vehicle. Then, they presented me with an impeccably cleaned automobile that was delivered right to my front door so I wouldn't have to drive 40 miles back to their dealership. And finally, 30 days later when I had some minor electronic issues with the car, rather than charge me, which they could have done, they decided to waive the fee and take care of the problem at no charge.  Every chance they had to exceed my expectations, they did.  That is why I bought my last car at Medford Ford, and that is why I'll buy all my cars at Medford Ford from now on. read more

I wish I could read this in less than one star. About three years ago I took my Ford F150 one 50 truck in to have a remote starter installed. After it was installed, realized that the remote door locks were not working I took the truck back in to show them what was going on. they have a contractor who install these remote starters. He took a look at it and changed to a new system. The starter still didn't work. It was either the remote start working or the remote door lock working, but they never work together at the same time. I've taken this truck in at least five times to get this repaired , at one time they told me I needed a new body control module, I spent over $800 in getting that replaced. Still the remote start doesn't work. At times the car won't even start after Medford Ford called me and said everything was set. I would go there and try to stock the car with a regular key in. Insert it into the ignition, but it wouldn't start. I had to leave it there. They promised me that they would call Paul's after the holidays last year. I never received a call back. I've gone back 2 to 3 times I've called Gus. I've called Rob and I've spoken to Jeff. None of them will help. They are totally useless service people. Tell me lies about letting me borrow a car and they don't give it to me. They lie to me about getting it fixed. It has never been fixed. I want my money back now and they're playing games. This is the worst Ford dealer I have ever seen in my life. And I have been a customer for a long time. I bought my son's Mustang there two years ago . Don't ever go to these people. read more

After years of loyalty and buying three new 2020-21 vehicles along with years of previous explorers, pick ups and work vans I can confidently say this is the worst managed dealer in the area. Nothing but problems when dealing with these people. The salesmen are great and try hard to make car buying an enjoyable experience but the service department is non existent and terribly ran. Had a bad experience at this Ford. I went to buy a new car last week. The sales person, Chris was great and extremely helpful and professional. When we went to look at the car, they had a model inside the showroom and another model that was being driven around a lot and already had 800 miles on it. They promised us the showroom model and when we went to sign the paperwork, they changed their word and were trying to give us the model with 800 miles on it which had scratches on the back of the car. We had a bad experience with the finance department- they wouldn't work with us and didn't care about the customer. I have an excellent credit of 845 and was planning to put $10k down on the car, however the interest rate he could offer was 4.99% and was charging us $1650 for the tire care package. We asked for a lower interest rate, but they didn't budge and I overheard the finance guy tell the salesperson that "they can leave if they don't want this". We ended up leaving and went to another Ford dealership nearby and had a great experience. Ended up getting the car for 2.99% rate. They only charged us $650 for the tire care package instead of $1650 that was quoted by Medford Ford. Medford Ford quoted us monthly payment of $727 just for the car and tire package, and we are now paying only $609 for the same car from another dealership with tire care package AND extended warranty included. If you want to save money, I would recommend going to a different dealership. Their finance department really doesn't care about their customers read more

I was looking for a pickup and Medford ford had exactly the one I want. The web add says what the MSRP is then it has the Medford Ford rebate and then it has the ford rebate following that it has the total price. Under all of this it has additional ford conditional rebates. We were offered 84 months at 0%, but we couldn't have the rebates and 0%. Ok, since the add had the price and the second batch of "conditional" rebates we thought we would get the add price at 0% thinking we would not qualify for additional conditional rebates. I have a 2016 Chevy Camaro with a clear title (it has nothing owed on it) and only 40 thousand miles on it. I was either going to sell it or trade it on the pickup. (we have it listed for 18K) I got an email from Joseph stating they would give me 12K for my Camaro!! He said the market is low, I completely understand the coronavirus has every thing messed up, but not that low. That was a slap in the face. The second slap in the face was not even 3 minutes after I text Joseph stating we were not going to move forward because of these two issues Cathy (the lady who brought the pickup to our home for me to look at and drive) called me stating she was just calling to reach out and touch base. Then she went on to talk about what I told Joseph; it was not a reach out. I was explaining my stand point on this and she continued to interrupt me (yes that was upsetting me) but what upset me the most (totally P'd me off) was when she told me that they talk to 8-10 people per day and I am the only one who doesn't understand. I told her I understand completely and that I am not a stupid person! She told me she wasn't trying to make me feel that way but, I do not understand. I was very angry then. I will not do business with Medford Ford, and will tell everyone I know that is looking for a new vehicle what I went through. It is not like I was trying to by a $20K vehicle! read more

I have been disappointed by the Service Department at Medford Ford for the last time. Usually, it is a minor inconvenience, like when I dropped the car off for an oil change and they didn't bother getting to it by the end of the day. NOW, I have a lug nut that has been damaged by improper mechanic work. Here's the facts: I took the car over for a 10 am appointment for The Works (oil change and tire rotation). Simple stuff. Hours later, about 30 minutes before closing I called because I thought it must be done. They told me it is done, but when I get there the car is still being worked on. Turns out they only pulled my car in for the work when I called at the end of the day. Tim S. service manager (who I would rate as poor) told me the tire rotation I asked for is "on us". Mechanic pulls the car up, drops off the paper and mentions that he couldn't get the rusty lug nuts off the passenger rear wheel, so he only rotated 2 tires. Tim S tried to hide the mechanic's hand-written notes on the work order by covering it with another piece of paper. He didn't want me to know about this. So, the rusty lug wouldn't come off, and I need to work in the morning, so I take the car and leave. Two months later (yesterday), I get a flat tire and go to change the tire. It is the same tire where the mechanic could not remove the lug nuts. When I try to change the tire, I realize one lug nut has been stripped and rounded off by the mechanic who desperately tried to rotate the tires at the end of the work day. He didn't mention at the time that he had spun the wrench and rounded off the lug nuts. So, yesterday I could not change my own flat tire thanks to the damaged lugs. The stud bolt needs to be replaced, and I am waiting to hear if the bearing needs to be replaced since the stud was stripped where it was attached on the inside. The mechanic caused damage to my lug nut and stud, and neither him nor Tim S said anything about it. Currently considering whether I should seek compensation for the damage, or if I should just avoid Medford Ford and wish them bad luck in the future. At the time, all Tim could offer was a sales pitch for new set of tires. He also said he could replace the lugs, but I would have to wait for them to be ordered. Well, my lug nuts are only rusty with the end caps popped off because Medford Ford mechanics routinely over-torque the lug nuts. I wonder if the deceptive practice is an attempt to charge me more for damage they caused, or if it's complete incompetence. I'm leaning towards incompetence (Tim S, I'm looking at you). The mailers and emails that they send out are just form letters, and they couldn't provide the exceptional service they claim when I took my car for simple maintenance. If you can't be truthful and perform the small jobs, why should someone trust you with more work in the future? Goodbye Medford Ford read more

(11:30am) I noticed my car was still in the lot where I parked it. I told him I could'nt wait any longer. He said they were sorry and told me they were running behind. Took my car in for a recall. They got the part and put it on but when they were done installing the recall they screwed up. They didn't put my car back together. They left off parts and screwed up my drive shaft they didn't put the bolts back in one of the motor mounts and then acted like that is how we took them the car and they weren't responsible. I'm sorry but if you take it apart put it back together the way it was. They were awful. I will never recommend someone to go there. I know my car is old but I'm still making payments on it and I still can't drive it going on 3 months now. read more
