Great brewery close to downtown Bradenton. With over a dozen home made brews on tap, this place has an ale for every taste bud. Pilsners, pale ales, dark chocolate ales to name just a few. Fresh and delicious, but fair warning: some of these home grown ales come with an uptick in alcohol so drink carefully if you're driving. The alcohol content can sneak up on you. They serve no food here, so you're usually offered a food truck vendor on site. Some of them are good but most in my experience have been pricey. You can always bring your own food here. I am giving two stars based on the beer and ambiance. The service was also fantastic. The space however is very dirty to the point where I would rather pee in a gas station bathroom than motor works. It was worse than a port a potty if you can imagine that. Puke in the sink and smelled like a port a potty. The bar itself was also not wiped down and neither were the tables outside. A dog literally pooped in the middle of a bunch of tables and people were dancing with their shoes off on a very dirty fake grass so if you're a germaphobe maybe skip this place. I personally don't understand why you think if your dog takes a shit, that those germs are not on the grass and its ok to prance around without your shoes on. If your not vaccinated go elsewhere because this would be where you would get covid. If you're vaxxed and not a germaphobe, get the tangerine Hefeweizen and a mango ipa. The beer was pretty good and the back garden was an awesome place to sit. The live band was hopping and they have food from two different sources. Roccos does take about an hour plus to arrive after ordering FYI. We never did get our meal. read more

Then told us it "isn't his fault the website isn't accurate" when we simply asked him to remind management that it is advertised ALL OVER THE WEBSITE and that it's the sole reason we went there. What an awesome place to visit! It's definitely in my top three of all time!! I don't have one bad thing to say about this brewery. Went here on my birthday on a Wednesday evening. The staff was phenomenal...super friendly and knowledgable about beer. They serve brews and also have a full liquor bar. They have food from local restaurants delivered on a rotational basis (we went with Ferraro's Pizza). The beers were delightful as was the quickly delivered food. The atmosphere is really the seller here. The inside of the bar is intimate and welcoming with nice lighting and a large bar. They have arcade games and special events on a nightly basis (Paint Night, Yoga Night, etc.). The biergarten outside is amazing!!! A giant oak tree is bedazzled in lights and surrounded by a beautiful deck. The grounds also have many tables as well as corn hole and bocci ball. Great last stop on the brew bus, I would definitely come back. I loved everything about it. The service was great, everyone was very attentive. We walked outside to get a bite to eat and we had two servers come up to us and tell us we could have a seat and they would take our order. We definitely need a place like this in St. Pete. We have really good brewery's but this one had all the elements, great service, good food, good beers and great ambiance. We ordered a porter and wheat beer , when we received our beers they also served freshly pooped popcorn. Tasty beers with buttery popcorn, how can you go wrong...yum For lunch we ordered port sliders, onion rings and sweet potato puffs. All of our food was good but the sweet potatoes were a little too sweet but nothing a little ketchup couldn't cure. Great brewery! Awesome beers. Love the 150 year old Live Oak tree in the beer garden. Food was ok. A little light on the meat in the Reuben and nachos weren't all that. In fact, so big that even with corn hole and bocci ball courts, a giant projector screen, a stage for live music, multiple areas for food vendors, and a giant ass tree, that you'll still feel like you're nothing but a lego figurine. Oh, and there's a indoor bar, too. Which again, is large and in charge; possessing a vast and clean bar top, couches and fun decor. Space aside, the brews are phenomenal. Do yourselves a favor by ordering the Enduro Equinox with Mango and Habanero. The smell blasts your nose with fresh, ripe mangos, but the heat from the habanero at the end is the real winner. My second favorite would be the Roll Cage Red Ale. Great hop content and a caramel, malty backbone. Yum. The only thing lacking here was the attentiveness of the servers. The outdoor space may be too large for quick and reliable attention. I'd recommend going inside to the bar itself. But sit your ass down underneath that big ol' tree, listen to the tunes, grab a bite and watch the game; because Motorworks has it all. read more
