Cookie butter latte + beef patty + YEMENI Chai
    Eli V.

MOTW is a fantastic new addition to Reston! I've already been here twice during their opening week, making my first stop the day right after opening day. Even with the opening-week rush, the service was great, the staff was wonderful, and the environment was incredibly relaxing and not too loud and perfect for enjoying an afternoon coffee. Here is my breakdown of what we tried: Pistachio Latte (5/5): This was incredible with just the right amount of sweetness. My friend loved it so much it was halfway gone before we even sat down! Cookie Butter Latte (5/5): Exceptionally good! This is easily one of the best cookie butter lattes I have ever found in the area. Yemeni Chai (5/5+): I am incredibly picky about chai, and MOTW truly knows how to make it. You can taste the rich, roasted hints of cardamom and cinnamon. It tastes exactly like authentic, homemade chai. It ran out the first time I visited, so I knew it had to be good. This is by far the best chai in Reston--if I could rate the shop on the chai alone, it's a 5/5 all day long. Café Miel (4.5/5): The sweetness was perfect but the coffee was very light almost unnoticeable. I did like that I could distinctly taste the honey with the hint of cinnamon. Beef Empanada (3/5): This might not be for everyone, but I enjoyed it. It has a very clean, hearty, homemade taste. My friend thought it was just "okay." There is nothing super flashy about it, but it's a nice, comforting snack to grab with your drink. Caramel Avalanche (2/5): Unfortunately, I couldn't finish this one because it was way too sweet. Because they were so busy, the ratios were likely just a little off. I ended up taking it home to use as a sweetener for my home-brewed coffee instead! Tip for new visitors: Since they just opened, be patient with the rush! I highly recommend sticking to regular or medium-sized drinks even large!. When you order small size for the coffee drinks, the syrup ratios can get a bit overwhelmed, making them wayyy too sweet or just not sweet enough.Overall, this place is very good. The atmosphere is relaxed, the drinks are mostly stellar, and we will definitely be regulars at this location!

So excited to have somewhere to get coffee and a pastry near my job. Me and my coworker stoped by love the decor and the staff was super friendly. We actually met one of the owners we have the same name lol , she was so pleasant. I tried the butter chicken empanada very tasty. I also got a biscotti dessert so yummy. I want to try a few things on the menu so I will be back. I enjoyed the vibe and there is alot of seating as well. Free parking lot not far so that's a plus.

We went on their first opening day at the reston location and it was WILD. Line was so so long but I think it's worth it. The service was fairly quick. We got many things including the $3 lattes that was offered on the first opening day. *Capuchino - delicious with no sugar, it was not too bitter and it has its own sweet coffee taste. *Biscoff milk cake and tiramisu cake - i love how light itis and not too too sweet, perfect amount of sweet to drink with coffee. They compliments each other well. *Matcha and strawberry drink - very cute, very art and instagrammable but also a bit artificial to me and too sweet. I am a big matcha drinker so i do have a bit higher requirement for my matcha drink. This would not be something i will get again. * now THE EMPANADAS stoleeeee the stage! I got one of each empanadas except the spinach one. The empanada was about $8.25 or $8.75 but it was worth it. The BUTTER CHICKEN ... the BUTTER CHICKENNNNN... DELICIOUSSSS! The dough was buttery and the butter chicken filled the empanada. 100/10 would get it again! Parking... street parking and garage parking is available and also outside regular parking is available. I do not love the parking in this area but will risk it all to come back to this coffee spot. Overall, my experience was not bad. It is also walking distance from my work place so i will deff come back. We were excited that we didn't have to drive 30 minutes for some decent coffee around the area.

Large Iced Biscoff Latte with Half & Half

I had to travel for work this past week and went to this coffee shop 3 days in a row because of the coffee and service! The workers are so kind and friendly. Over the three days, the latte was consistently amazing. It is so hard to find a place that makes the drink exactly how you had it the first time. But they always did! Definitely worth the stop whether you're a local or visitor!

I honestly didn't plan on coming here today! I was just in the area for a dentist appointment, searched for a quick coffee spot nearby, and walked right in. I'm so glad I did because it turned out to be amazing! I ordered the Pistachio Coffee with Almond Milk, and it was delicious. Highly recommend

Delicious pastries and empanadas! I tried a wide variety of things and loved all of it. First time going to a cafe with this type of theme. It's cozy. Service was fast and courteous.

No wonder this location is always packed with customers! It has always been a local favorite. This location has two floors, plenty of seatings for hanging out, or just getting your work done. Parking is super easy. I tried their espresso flight menu for the first time because there are tons of unique creations that I wanted to try and I couldn't just choose just one! With the espresso flight you can choose three espresso drinks you want, including their specialties. You can choose hot/iced, but all has to be made with the same type of diary, which is not a problem for me! I ordered an Oat Latte, Dark Star (espresso, oat milk, dark chocolate & Azteca), and included one matcha drink, My Little Green Friend (matcha, oat milk, white chocolate & vanilla). They all tasted so good. Creamy, sweet, but not too sweet. And they came in three little mugs, with aesthetic latte art. I got so full (lol), but it was the best decision of the day! Can't wait to go back and try more of their creations!

The crème brûlée is smooth and rich, also leaning sweet rather than balanced. Warm atmosphere, efficient service, and fair pricing. 5/5 within its category--predictable, satisfying, and well executed for what it is.

She asked if I wanted to warm my roll, and I agreed with the suggestion. Once we had our order, we headed to the couch to enjoy our brunch. The chai was delicious and had a nice peppery kick. It even came with a little cookie! I also really enjoyed the cinnamon roll, which was especially packed with spiced goodness at the warm center. I loved that everyone from studying students to large families could enjoy the indoor and outdoor space. Even with a fairly steady flow of customers, we were able to relax in the sunny couch area without feeling rushed. I would definitely return here for another chai and some breakfast in the future!
