Clean. Cool place. Food is pretty good, better than most. Nice atmosphere but a little chilly in there. Clean bathrooms. Service is mostly friendly but not ALWAYS. I'm glad the harbor has this place and we will be going back here and there. I love the Reuben and my wife likes the Caesar salad with salmon

Hoquiam Brewing Company August 3, 2025 This was probably the most industrial feeling brewery of the three that we tried in the area. It's a large space with brewing equipment off to one side of the building. Service was good, although initially I wasn't so sure. When I asked how it was going, the server said, eh. But she warmed up to us pretty quickly and we had a good overall experience. They serve food, but we didn't try any when we were there. They also have a full bar and TVs.

We like it. Wish they had live music on Thursday, but it is a nice place. The outside does not do it justice. I like micro brews that let you see the large vats and use it for the decor. This is one of those. The was good also. See our YouTube channel Coolest Life.

3/5 needed more seasoning and fries were not good (some fresh, some stale)

Came in pretty late on a Saturday and found lots of free tables so guys STOP BY THIS PLACE. Lots of room and great interior. We were immediately greeted by our server who was very sweet and attentive. We ordered the burger, fish & chips and fried pickles The burger was perfectly cooked (we asked for pink in the middle) and the flavors were on point. The fries however and this goes for the fish and chips as well were a mixed batch of freshly cooked and stale (some fries tasted great others felt cooler and a little grainy) The fish was breaded (not batter) so just bear that in mind, but was very well cooked and the crust was super crispy and crunchy. Also came with tartar sauce and a small cup of coleslaw, appreciated the lemon as the fish was a little under seasoned but the pickles ... The fried pickles were sour and crunchy and so SO yummy! Honestly it went great with the aforementioned under seasoned fish, lucky day indeed! I love everything this place is and trying to be... show some love

We'd have not found this spot were it not for Yelp. It's a bit off the beaten path on a quiet corner a block off of a main drag. I couldn't quite determine what it used to be, maybe a machine shop or similar. They did a nice job preserving the rawness of the interior but the addition of local memorabilia warmed up the decor. We were in early and only the second table before dinner hour so the server/bartender was able to give us her full attention. I'm not a drinker so I cannot comment on that but my pizza was exceptional. Adequately topped and perfectly baked. Just enough of everything and not too much of anything--that to say the balance of flavors was excellent. We'll definitely stop by on our next trip to the ocean.

Fantastic food, great service, did I say fantastic food. We stopped in for dinner on a Yelp recommendation and were not disappointed. Can't wait to try other things on the menu, I had the chicken Alfredo and my husband had a pizza, both delicious. The serve was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. A must try, you won't be disappointed

Not only did HBC single-handedly make my family's Covid quarantine tolerable with their bingo, painting with Drew Ross, and trivia via Facebook live, but they've become one of our favorite go-to places for food and drinks. I haven't had a bad meal here, or less-than-great service!

Their pizza is tasty & the salad was great. We'd definitely return. Staff were good & it was a relaxing spot. Good music & lots of options.

Their pizza was tasty & the salad was great too. The staff were friendly & the music was good too. We'd definitely return again.

Great atmosphere, plenty of seating for big parties, and more intimate spaces for date nights.

We followed the Yelp reviews to Hoquiam Brewing Company and had the best meal, coupled with fantastic service. Both the pizza and pasta were delicious, the atmosphere is great and the place was spotless. Many tables have electricity so if you needed to charge up or work this is the place to go. Don't miss stopping here the next time you need a great meal in Hoquiam.

On our way back north, we stopped by Mount Olympus Brewery. It was quite quiet, especially since it was a Sunday and not many people were there. We were just me and two other friends, so we decided to sit at the bar and have a few drinks. The place was fairly quiet, and they had a TV in the bar area, which was pretty cool. We ended up watching the NBA Finals game seven. The servers were amazing--down-to-earth, very personable, and they made us feel very welcome. Maybe because it wasn't that many people there, but anyway, I don't think that was an issue. There were great people there. They had plenty of options on draft and bottled/ canned , but I sampled two stouts on draft. The one that I liked the most was the Blood of Hades, which is a Barrel Aged Imperial Stout that aged for 12 months. I really enjoy the flavors of bourbon, char, and chocolate, hence the vanilla, and combined with bursting flavors of cinnamon, spice, and dark chocolate. It's by far earned its place in my top 5% of styles that I've drunk in multiple regions. I should definitely return here in the near future and indulge some more because this place seems pretty cool. It's very quiet and peaceful. I recommend coming to Mount Olympus Brewery if ever in Aberdeen.

Recommendation from a local in the industry should be a can't miss. This was a miss. Service was mid at the very best. Just OK in every way. Mac and cheese balls and something else that I have already forgotten, but I know our group of four left food on the table and we came in hungry. It's a very small space, and on our trip there was a pretty loud group at the bar. That's normally to be expected in a bar, but in this space we were able to hear every word of their conversation which is just weird. Funny, part of the reason the other bar owner recommended this place is because of the 'cute outdoor seating area'. Take a look at the picture. Talking Cedar is a solid alternative to the dining at great Wolf Lodge…read more It's just around the corner with ample parking. We got there around 6:30 PM on Thursday evening and the wait was about 20 minutes for families, but we sat at the bar at a high top and got right in. We found service to be friendly and prompt. The gentleman who was taking care of us was attentive without being pushy. We started with the fried pickles which came out with ranch and aïoli for dipping. It was a huge portion. Tasty indeed. While I know pickles are inherently salty, I did find these to be exceptionally salty, leaving me to wonder if the batter was also salted, which definitely would not be necessary. Just know that if you are planning on ordering them. We also both got the Smoked Steak Salad. The salad was fresh and nicely dressed. Both of them came with a very generous serving of meat. The meat was just OK. They do not ask you how you would like your steak cooked, so once I got it, that made sense. I'm guessing they don't just smoke it for a little bit and finish the cooking it another way because it is well done with some rough bits - perhaps leftovers from something else. Honestly, I would prefer to have a nice juicy steak on top of a salad, and while I enjoyed this enough, I probably would not get it again for this reason. We both got a beer flight too, and found all four choices to be really good! I will definitely come back here when I'm tired of options at Great Wolf. I'd be interested in trying their sandwiches, as I saw a couple people with French Dips that looked really good.

We were excited, greeted nicely and were sat down pretty quickly. Then it took a turn. Our waiter took alittle while to get to us. Once he did, he was basically rushing to get our order. 20 mins later came back with our water and my husbands Bourbon Flight. This is me by the way looking at my photo album to track the time. 25 mins later our appetizer came and they were delish. We had ordered Garlic Parmesan Wings and Giant Pretzel. We waited over an hour and our waiter finally comes back to tell us that due to a Big Table outside our food is running behind, we said that's fine. 30 mins later, he comes back and tells us he mistakenly did not put our orders in and he takes full accountability but the fact that he only placed 1/2 of order and realized it an hour and a half later and waited 30 mins passed to tell us was beyond acceptable. We had a 1 year old and a 2.5 year old babies with us, we got there at 5:15pm and left at 8pm with no Main Course, we decided to leave and they offered to give us our main dishes for free and that had to pay for our apps and drinks. At that point, we weren't even hungry anymore- we were more upset than hungry. Word of Advise- don't dismiss a table of 5 for a table of 20. That party of 20 already includes 16%-18% Gratuity on their Tab, whereas a table of 5 could be giving you 20%-25% Gratuity for yourself only & not to have to share with other servers esp. if you are given cash. That table of 5 could sit there for hours just sitting and chatting and won't turn the tables over to new guest, whereas a table of 5 can eat, enjoy their meal, give good tip and leave within an hour and a half. And you'll have new table instantly, more money for you. To the kitchen staff, don't walk past your guests when they're asking you a question and as if they didn't exist. I'd hate to think it's Race Discrimination because we were the only Asians there but that's definitely how it felt.
