We had such a great experience at Wailapa Brewing Company Taproom Pizzeria! We tried both the pepperoni pizza and the combination pizza, and honestly--both were absolutely delicious. The crust really stood out: perfectly balanced, not too greasy, with just the right texture that made every bite super satisfying. All around great experience here. We dropped in as Harvest Host guests. Spaces for RVs were well thought out but no services, and that was just fine. We got a great pizza and had a few of their beers before jumping back in our camper for the night. I have spent the last year taking a hiatus from work and traveling in my van with my dog. In all of my travels, this is my favorite brewery and I plan to get back. Let's start with the beers. One of my biggest complaints about most breweries today is that they have 18 different IPAs, a blonde and porter and a stout. This is not that place. Yes they have a variety of IPAs, a blonde, a stout and a porter, but it isn't the whole menu. The brewers here are clearly pushing the edge of their craft into interesting new territories, and I am a fan. Barrel-Aged Tarte is an absolute joy on the pallete. Having been aged in whiskey barrels, you get a real solid smoky oak taste, that finishes tart and dry. I've a had a few of their IPAs which were stellar. But there is a beer that keeps me coming back. You know those things that get in your head? A meal or a drink that is just so unique and enjoyable that you wake up at 3AM absolutely craving it. PickleMe Sour is that for me. I know what it sounds like, but trust me, this is can't miss. I remember on my first visit, I asked the server about it with an incredulous "PickleMe Sout??!!??" She gives me a knowling smile, pulls a taste off for me, and I instantly ordered a pint, as she knew I would. It was that good. I haven't had a beer here I dislike. The pizza is always phenomenal. On my first trip I had The Hook Tender and it was great. The second trip (went out of my way by hundreds of miles to come back) I had the Quit Yer Bitchin and was very pleased. My daughter had the Margerita and loved it. My wife had the BBQ Chicken salad and raved about it, The ambience is great. This is not a big town, so that number of folks that I see coming through to pick up dinner tells me this place is a hit with the locals as well. We stayed as a Harvest Host guest on both occasions, and this is by far my favorite Harvest Host. A large outdoor patio with plenty of seating makes this place very dog friendly so long as you keep them on a leash. There is also indoor seating if you are so inclined, I travel with my dogs so I have only sat outside. The service is great. The servers are knowlegable, friendly and funny. They are happy to reccomend beers or foods based on what you have enjoyed before. The staff is clearly welcoming to all guests, with no bigotry what-so-ever which is great to see. I wish I didn't live two states away, but I look forward to returning. Maybe they will let me buy a keg of PickleMe Sour to take home with me if I as nicely ahead of time. read more

We stopping by when passing through on a Sunday night, not the best idea if you aren't there for bingo. It's a small place, and it appeared it was going to be over-full with players, so we decided to take ours to-go. We ordered a Margherita pizza, side salad, and chicken nachos. The pizza was ok, looked appealing but lacked a bit on flavor. The nachos, while more than generous with the chips, the toppings were sparse. The side salad was small but fresh. Employees were friendly and the place is cute and clean. I wish I could say we loved our meal, but unfortunately that night it just just okay. read more

Swung by willapa brewing on our way home. They serve pizza and beer but we only stopped for a beer. I had "it's worth a squeeze" and my husband had "widow maker" both were delicious. When we walked in we were greeted immediately with a welcome and they brought our beers to us pretty fast. A small town brewery frequented by locals, nothing to the size and scope that I'm privileged to see in Seattle but a good local place to serve its patrons spirits and food. While they did not have what my family was looking for (that being pretzels) it still is a great location in Raymond with the ability to bring your furry friends through the brewery towards the beer garden, where the staff ensures they have a bowl of water ready for them as you take your seats. A nice smaller place that has the sense of something that will be great as the Willapa Brewing Company begins to take flight in the state of Washington with more word of mouth. Came in around 7:20 not knowing they close at 8 and they let me open a tab and order cheese bread and pizza but then tell me I need to drink quick ish due to the time they close, I then tell them it can all be in to go boxes. I would've never ordered from a place so close to closing as that isn't kind. My friend and I drank our drinks and waited for our pizza until about 7:50 and figured it had to be done even tho they haven't called on us. The pizza was sitting in a food warmer for I don't even know how long. I would've left as soon as it was done to prevent it from getting icky. Got the pizza and left and the pizza was so soggy that I couldn't even hold it without it falling completely flat. It was so soggy it seemed wet. I didn't eat any of that margarita pizza because I was afraid it might've been undercooked. It also had close to zero sauce on it. read more

Huge portions, so we had a lot left over with only 2 people. Probably could have fed 4 with a pizza and cheesy bread. Decor was a unique rustic vibe and their bathroom was very clean. Stopped by with lots of hungry kids when driving back home. Surprisingly a great little place. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, great food, and reasonable prices. We've driven by Willapa Brewing many times since they opened but this was our first visit. Trust me, it won't be our last! We shared a pepperoni pizza and it was one of the best I've ever had. Light, thin crust, the perfect amount of red sauce, and loads of mozzarella and pepperoni. It's rare we finish a pizza in one sitting, but it was that good! In retrospect, we should have taken advantage of the Monday special, BOGO for pepperoni or cheese pizzas. We were impressed by the numerous beers and ciders on tap, and settled on the Blood Orange cider. I'm picky in regards to cider, and this one was delicious, on the sweet side without being too sweet. Highly recommend this little gem right off Hwy 101 in South Bend. read more

I have had beers from Willapa Brewing Company a couple of times now. They have quite a few of their beers on tap at Cranberry Road Winery in Westport. This winery used to have a brewery as well, Bog Water Brewing but the location had a fire and it seems like the winery activities seem to be the dominating feature of the place than the beer since that happened. With that said it seems like this location almost always has Willapa beers on tap. We inquired with the staff at the winery to see if Willapa Brewing has a tasting room in Raymond but we were told that they did not. So on our last trip to the winery we got about three different beers by Willapa to get a better, more well rounded idea of their beers. As I said I had their beer before but it was just one. It was a pale wheat ale which was very good but it was time to try some more of their options. This time we got a stout, porter and different kind of pale ale from the first time I had their beer. Once again, the beer was very enjoyable. I would love it if their brewery in Raymond opened up to the public with a tasting room but as long as we know where to go to get it that's all that really matters. read more

With a crew of three under 4 we needed a quick lunch and this spot hit the spot! The staff were pure gems, communicating the chicken wings were going to take longer than what our kids had patience for. We gorged on gorgeous chicken nachos and our crew destroyed a pretzel. I was super happy with my sour beer and was grateful for a taste of the pickle sour (it was good!). Our older liked walking across the street to view the Steam Donkey and Tug Boat.
