When visiting North Carolina , we wanted to try something different and we found this cute vineyard ! And cute romantic vibes with amazing views ! We arrived ok time for an amazing sunset and unfortunately the charcuterie options were done but lucky enough they had some spreads and we got all of them to try ' The flights for the wine and even cider, were delicious! If you get a chance also get the sangria , it's sweet and full of flavor ! Super friendly and knowledgeable staff and he make sure we were comfortable and make sure we had everything we needed .

Love love loveeeed Mountain Brook Vineyard! I was greeted upstairs and then again when I got downstairs. Lots of seating whether you are down by the firepit, out by the lawn area or gazebo or the covered upstairs patio. There is also seating inside if the weather is not so great. Today's weather was perfect! I found a seat outside and my wine and charcuterie were brought to me. There is music playing in the background but I tuned it out so that I could read my book.

My photo skills do not do this sunset justice!

Mountain Brook is amazing. I absolutely did not want to leave. The views are spectacular, the service was top notch (Morgan was fantastic) , the food excellent and it was such a peaceful and serene atmosphere! I will return again and again. You absolutely must experience this gem!

The views and grounds are stunning! We thoroughly enjoy visiting the vineyard and their wines are among my favorites. Perfect place to hang with friends and family or for a special occassion.

Easy to reach from our Greenville home with Mountain View's. Always pleased with food drink options.

Beautiful Mountain View's and scenery were a major plus for this winery tucked away in Rutherfordton which has its own unique small town/country vibes. I loved that there were a variety of flight options. I decided to go with the sangria flight and absolutely loved the watermelon it was a great summer sangria! The wine slushie was another great option and definitely a must try to beat the summer heat.

Came here on a girls' weekend and enjoyed not only the incredible and breathtaking views, but also the wine. They have tons of tables and a food truck was available. The vineyard also had a nice menu with a charcuterie plate that was perfect for an afternoon snack. I would have loved to have spent more time at one of the fire pits, but it was quite cold so we opted for an indoor table. Plenty of wine options for you to choose one that suits. A perfect way to spend an afternoon!

It may have just been bad timing, so take it as you will. The service was okay. The waitress seemed a tad put off by our dogs being with us which automatically gives me a bad taste in my mouth. Nevertheless she still brought them water. We had just missed the live music apparently, but were told the band was great. We didn't eat anything but we did do the red wine flight sample. We were not impressed whatsoever. They were decent, but sadly didn't think one sample was worth buying a bottle of. The views were gorgeous, though. Also note to self, do not go by the posted closing time on google. The outside closed hours earlier than the inside portion, and we didn't know that.

I enjoyed mountain brook overall, staff was super accommodating & seemed well educated about wine. It's definitely more like wine bar vibes. The property Is really stunning and the live music was a good touch. The wine was fine but nothing that stood out to me or that I'd buy a bottle of. Id go back & try more, it's definitely worth a visit. Id recommend.

We had a great time visiting Mountain Brook Vineyard. The setting is breathtaking with long expansive views of the vineyards with a backdrop of mountains. They have a tiered lawn set up with many tables- some with fire-pits. The wine is delicious and the light food options are spot on. Absolutely the highlight of our visit was having an extended conversation with the winemaker, David Coventry. He is a joy to chat with and an absolute wealth of knowledge- our conversation took our wine experience to another level and I believe I will think about many of the things he said about wine for years to come.

This place is so beautiful! My friends and I did a barrel tasting (highly recommend) and sat at the tables having other drinks for the rest of the afternoon. This place is dog friendly!!

If you're looking for the perfect place to enjoy a sunset and some wine, this is it! We had an awesome experience tasting wine at Mountain Brook. The sunset was gorgeous and they had multiple fire tables going which made it the ideal spot to enjoy a February afternoon. They had live music and a food truck parked nearby which were the perfect addition to the awesome vineyard. Mountain brook has both indoor and a lot of outdoor seating. They offer wine flights, wine by the glass and bottle, and a limited amount of snack options. The staff was very welcoming and worked hard to ensure that all of the tables were taken care of. All in all, if you're looking for a relaxing afternoon, the perfect spot for Instagram photos, or some great wine, head to Mountain Brook Vineyards.

What a beautiful vineyard!! You get a gorgeous view of the mountains and the rows of grape vines while sipping delicious wine. The vineyard is very spacious and there were several outdoor areas to sit at including ones that were covered. We started our wine tasting on the outdoor balcony area which I think had the best views. There were two different flights we could choose from that consisted of four 1.5oz tastings. The flights were $12 each and included a variety of wines. They also have a menu of cheese, meats, crackers, chocolates, hummus & pita to choose from. They also had a few different sangrias. I had the strawberry and watermelon sangria, and it was so refreshing!

    Is there any food available?

There is a very limited menu with some food - mostly snack type food. Also , they had a food truck there on the day we visited (July 5th). They have a list on their website of the dates and the food truck that will be there. As they have tables…

It's small with limited seating inside which is fine but that makes the outside seating so important. Unfortunately there is literally no effort made. The seating is uncomfortable, the cushions slide off the seat as your sitting, some decent umbrellas for shade would be a big plus. I just can't fathom a savvy businessman not seeing the potential. Food is not a must as you can bring your own or buy next-door but seems like a missed opportunity. Charcuterie board would be simple accompaniment but the one they sell is overpriced and very sad. Bottom line the owner is missing the boat on the potential for this place

The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, they assisted us in selecting a good red to enjoy prior to dinner. The outdoor seating face a small alleyway, there was a wonderful musician directly across from us playing the saxophone. The wine selected was a very good Cabernet. I decided to peruse through the selection of wines available inside for sale, I did not find anything that really stood out, there was one bottle that did stand out but after looking at the price I realized much of the wine selection was marked up. I returned to the table to enjoy the bottle we did purchase. We did return to the area the next evening and figured we would return for a drink before dinner, unfortunately the lights were out and the shades were down. This was quite a surprise and a disappointment at the same time, the business hours they have listed indicated they would be open during that time period we were there. We ended up going down the street to another establishment for drinks. I would say the price point for a glass of wine is reasonable, wine by the bottle seems to be a bit high and I never purchase based on convenience.
