After our first ever problem that Josh corrected on the spot, we followed up with maintenance offered through their care plan which brought Josh out again for a cleaning of the whole unit as well as our home vent system. Josh didn't disappoint as he methodically filmed his way both inside and out of our home. He provided complete videos of all our components ratings each key part individually, while examining them he discovered our "sequencer" only had two of its three phases working (listen to me speak HVAC lingo). When concluding his operation he gave us a written estimate to replace the defective part, checked for its availability, and confirmed an appointment with us to return. Cold weather is about to come upon us here in Overgaard. Our furnace is 48 years old and the sensor thermocouple failed. I called Mountain Comfort for help. Josh showed up just the time they said they would be here. He was able to replace the old sensor with a new one he had in inventory and we had a working 48 year old furnace keeping us warm for the winter coldness soon to arrive. The cost was more then I thought it would be if I repaired it myself but Josh did the repairs what would have taken me a full day and that is if I could even find the right thermocouple Josh did it in an hour. It was worth every penny to have such an experienced technician who knew his job so well. The important thing is it was repaired and back on line and it was repared correctly. Had an issue with our wall furnace when my three sons went up to go elk hunting. Mountain Comfort responded overnight, accessed the residence by the boys leaving a key under the mat. Even though the technician did not have the part needed, he went to Show Low and found one through a supplier, went back to Pinetop, installed it the same day, and had the residence nice and warm when the kids returned from their hunt that night. My A/C installation was scheduled about 3 weeks after the quote was accepted. The morning of the scheduled date looked to be rainy so Kathy called to reschedule for the next day. The weather cleared and she called back to say the installers were on their way. The install was completed in about 3 1/2 hours and Jerry and Terry did a great job. After moving into our "new" house in Show Low, we decided we'd better have our HVAC system checked and serviced, especially since the thermostat seemed balky. We were referred to Mountain Comfort and they were great. Kathy in the office promptly scheduled the house call and Seth the tech showed up on time. He checked everything, replaced one safety part that was failing in the old unit, fixed a construction defect (the duct was not properly attached to the unit) and installed a new, easy to understand and program thermostat. Would have given better review had they contacted us as promised to do a quote. We stopped by their office and filled out a form with our information. We were told the man who provides quotes was out of office but he would contact us the next day. So it is 3 + weeks later and never a call.
