    The leasing staff and maintainance guys are awesome. Im enjoying my stay here so far. Amenities are well maintain and feedback are worked on

    Update: they responded by asking me to call them, yet I can't ever reach them on the phone. Can't really visit if you have a busy schedule, either The only good things about this apartment are location and Evelyn and Samantha at the leasing office. They tell you one thing at move in (i.e. that we can have an electric smoker), and then decide to charge us out of nowhere for a patio violation, which is very ambiguous on their addendum. Randy claims he warned us, but saying, "just be careful next time, and try not to let it smoke a lot again," isn't a warning. Not knowing that they meant we can't have the smoker, we tried using it again, creating smoke, which we immediately shut off (we had to throw an $80 brisket away to stop the smoke). And they've charged us $100 so far. Property management won't respond to my email, and the leasing office won't return my calls. At least 5 other tenants have told me that Randy is rude and unprofessional. My first experience with him very early into move in, he refused to help me with packages, saying the office wasn't responsible for them. Later, I found out from Samantha that they could indeed help when she helped me retrieve a package from the lock box. I tried to give him the benefit of doubt, but with the package thing and with him gaslighting me at the office, I agree with the others. Apart from the drama, they force you to pay for valet trash service - $30 extra per month, in addition to the $12 they charge for trash. If you don't follow every rule, they will fine you $25 for each valet trash violation. Community dumpsters can get crazy full, and trash can overflow. The trash collectors also skip several days at a time. The hallways are covered in debris and trash water, and although we pay over $100 in conservice a month, no one cleans it. My neighbor was sweeping the hallway the other day, muttering, "we pay them for what." When we moved in, we had lots of problems with the apartment. The dishwasher wasn't hooked in, the shelves in the kitchen cabinet were not put in, and one of the shelves in the closet was (and still is) not adhered to the wall properly. The dust on the top of the kitchen cabinets weren't dusted before being coated over with paint. All the A/C were coated with dust when we moved in as well. Maintenance would sometimes take 3 months unless you called the office directly. Security has yanked really hard on the doors of my husband's van and tried to break in and tow his registered vehicle away, just because they thought it looked sketchy. The apartment lied that the van was covered with newspaper to make it sound more sketchy. The trails next to the apartment were so dark at night that I felt super unsafe walking my dog for his last bathroom break before bed. I counted, and about half the lights were off for over half a year. They only fixed it after I initially posted this review. Not sure if that's coincidence. I really can't go over everything, but I'm posting pictures and videos. All, but one, of the other residents I've talked to dislike this place, so I know I'm not the only one.

    I would advise EVERY resident look closely at your appliances for health code violations. Over the last several weeks, I've had maintenance in and out of my home to replace a dishwasher. The first 2 replacements were seriously a health hazard (see pictures). It's actually pretty unreal that anyone would feel okay putting these in someone's home. THREE dishwashers and several weeks later, I finally got a clean one but guess what!? It doesn't work properly. This has been exhausting, to say the least. Also, I think it's cute that management pretends to care by posting a "reach out to us comment" on reviews when I've literally been emailing, calling, and popping into the office countless times a week to get this resolved. All that has happened is they continue to waste our time by installing moldy replacements that are a clear health hazard. Each maintenance request takes a few times for them to finally get it right (not tightening hoses under sink causing a good amount of leaking multiple times, not turning our hot water back on, etc.) Even that aside, it should not take someone having to post a negative review to get things taken care of in their home. Don't be fooled, they absolutely DO NOT care and they will 100% make sure you know that you are an inconvenience to them.

    The maintenance is great. The leasing office is tremendous the people that work there are phenomenal. I really enjoy living here and I've been living here since July of last year and I highly would recommend Mountain Gate Mountain Trail Apartments any day.

    2/17/2026 UPDATE: We are getting ready to move out of state…read moreand wanted to share an update as we first moved in in 2022. PROS and WINS: -Chyla and Courtney have been here since we moved in and have ALWAYS been helpful. They're always quick to respond and do everything within their power to address issues and needs that come up. -Albert (one of the maintenance team members), he's SO NICE and always helpful and quick with repairs. There's a newer maintenance team member who does a fantastic job. He's always outside picking up any loose trash and repaired our washer quick. -The grounds were clean when we first moved in and have felt that way the entire time. Of course you have neighbors who don't pick up after their animals. But I honestly think it's gotten better. - The community spaces are always clean. It was so nice having the coffee machine in the community lounge. I really wish they would've replaced that. -They always do monthly community events. They're cute and it's fun to walk over and stop by. -The Bend outdoor shopping center has really developed and fully went up since us moving in! It's so fun to have a coffee shop, food options, workout spaces, UPS, gas, etc all within a 10 minute walk or 3 minute drive. -our carpet was fully replaced prior to our move in and on both renewals we were given a carpet cleaning voucher, so that's fun! Feedback: -I noticed the side gate tends to be opened and not latch closed. This has been reported and the front office has said it's been repaired, but it continues to randomly be unlocked. Truthfully, I just got tired of reporting it was broken. But I fully believe if I would've mentioned again, they would've looked into it. -Would love for the coffee machine to have been replaced. We loved going to the community center to play Monopoly Deal and grab a coffee when there was a machine there. Advice for future tenants: -The walls are THIN and the stairs are hollow. Our layout was in building 14 on the ground level and our master room wall is shared with the stairs. And every single neighbor above us STOMPS so loud. If you are a light sleeper, I would highly suggest not opting for a layout where the master wall is shared with the outside stairs. -Ask for bug spray in the warmer months. We did our own bug spray inside our unit but I believe you can ask for more outside. -Be a good neighbor. Pick up after yourself in the gym and pick up after your animal. Respect the shared community spaces. -Honestly if we were not moving out of state we would've renewed because overall we enjoyed being here! Review from 4/2023: So far, my experience with Solana and the leasing office has been better than I could've I asked for! And we toured 4 places in one day and nothing matched the experience we had here. We literally started our tour day with Jody at Solana, went to tour other places and came back same day to apply. The moment my partner and I walked in we were greeted and made to feel like family. Jody was AMAZING. She had so much energy and passion about her job and it really sold the place. We were pleasantly surprised about the property, i personally think the photos don't do the place justice. Pros: -armed guard at all times -24 hr maintenance ON SITE -fitness center is clean with a variety of equipment -pool looked cleaned and maintained well -we toured the grounds and looked to be maintained well Cons(more so outside of Solona control): -next to freeway (not a deal breaker for us, but you really can hardly tell -area still in development stages. Looks like more food and stores are in the process of being built. BUT there's an ikea nearby!! Overall, we're really excited for our move and have high hopes about this property
