If I could give zero stars, I would. Living here has been a complete nightmare. The management is completely unresponsive, unprofessional, and seems more interested in squeezing every penny out of residents than actually managing the property. Communication is a joke -- you're lucky to get a reply, and when you do, it's usually dismissive or unhelpful. The billing is absolutely insane. Random fees show up with no explanation, utilities are way higher than they should be (even when you're barely home), and trying to get any clarity on charges is like pulling teeth. It's clear they count on people just giving up. As for the living conditions -- don't be fooled by any staged photos or nice-sounding amenities. The place is loud, dirty, and poorly maintained. Basic repairs take forever (if they happen at all), and it always feels like you're one step away from another issue. Save yourself the stress, money, and frustration -- look elsewhere. I know it's been a busy day for our maintenance techs at our apartment complex but when they came around and handled two of our issues, which was the AC issue and a Sink Disposer wasn't working...But when Rafael Martinez went and checked it out, he informed me that they were out of units of the disposer....But he went above and beyond and found me one last unit hiding somewhere and repaired my disposer same day! He has been helping us ever since me and kali moved in here and I figured I'd leave a good review and a shout out to him for all the times he has helped us with our apartment unit! this is the WORST apartment complex i have ever had to stay in. they are SCAMMERS and the managers are extremely rude and unhelpful. Maintenance has no idea what they are doing at all, our AC was broke in the summer time for about a week and it was 95 degrees inside the apartment. The manager tried to charge us late fees for paying rent "late" but it was their website that was not working and the manager refused to remove the late fees until she got our banking information which is extremely suspicious. We had to go to our bank and she had to hear it from the bank clerk to know she wasn't allowed to receive our banking information. the trash is over flowing ALL THE TIME and there is dog poop and pee all over the sidewalks. stay ANYWHERE else if you don't want to be scammed and taken advantage of. i would rather stay in a cardboard box on the side of the street than stay in this dump ever again. read more

I have lived in this same apartment for over six years. I had never lived in apartment before. I have one dog. I came from a different state following my kids. the rent was high but I am next to a grocery store and on top of just about anything else I could want. I see all the negative reviews but I have never had one single problem here. Over the years the rent even seemed to level out and be the normal for the area. one year I could hardly believe it the rent only went up $50. I look around every year because like I said it is on the higher end for sure and now it's about average, on the higher end of average but around everywhere else around here. I am on a second floor. i have had many many neighbors overs the year come in from all sides and have never had an issue. Maybe I am just lucky but it's been fine for me here. read more

My girlfriend and I moved in here about a year ago. The price we pay for an apartment is insane. Especially for this complex to not be kept up the way it should be. We might as well just rent a house at this point and get a garage and a backyard to make our money spent well worth it. When we were first applying for our unit we were told a specific price for our rent and we are paying well over $300 more than that. When we applied they didn't mention some things weren't covered under the rent and when we asked them about it, they acted like they told us. I specifically remember my girlfriend asking if certain things were covered and they said yes. They probably said yes cause they just wanted us to rent and have our money. There is dog poop smeared on the floors outside at times and the dumpsters are overfilled pretty much everyday. The elevators are disgusting. People let their dogs pee in the elevator and not clean it up. People spit on the elevator floors. It's so gross. I get weary about my dog stepping his paws in the elevator cause of how disgusting it is. The floors in the hallways need to be pressure washed. They are filled with people's leaky trash and god knows what other stuff. And another thing, they call/email my girlfriend and harass her saying that our renters insurance is expired when it is NOT and we have to show them proof every time they harass us about it. One of the people in the office even made a comment to my girlfriend saying that she doesn't pay her bills. Out of line and crazy cause we have never been late on rent and pay our bills on time yet they harass her regarding the renters insurance that is NOT EXPIRED which is really annoying at this point. Our neighbors above us stomp all day and night and it sounds like they are body slamming each other on the floor. The neighbor next to us blasts their music at midnight. Our bedroom wall is near the room they are blasting their music from. I work at 6AM and have to wake up at 4AM and can't sleep between the upstairs neighbors stomping and body slamming each other and the next door neighbors blasting music. People walk their dog off leash and we have had experiences where we are getting out of the elevator with our dog and their dog runs up to our dog which is not okay. We don't know if their dog is friendly and they don't know if our dog is friendly so people need to keep their dogs on a leash and remain distance unless we both agree it's okay for our dogs to greet each other. It's common courtesy and just safety. After our lease is up we will NOT be renewing here. This is our first time living in an apartment and we will not be doing it again. Horrible experience and I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Update: they responded by asking me to call them, yet I can't ever reach them on the phone. Can't really visit if you have a busy schedule, either The only good things about this apartment are location and Evelyn and Samantha at the leasing office. They tell you one thing at move in (i.e. that we can have an electric smoker), and then decide to charge us out of nowhere for a patio violation, which is very ambiguous on their addendum. Randy claims he warned us, but saying, "just be careful next time, and try not to let it smoke a lot again," isn't a warning. Not knowing that they meant we can't have the smoker, we tried using it again, creating smoke, which we immediately shut off (we had to throw an $80 brisket away to stop the smoke). And they've charged us $100 so far. Property management won't respond to my email, and the leasing office won't return my calls. At least 5 other tenants have told me that Randy is rude and unprofessional. My first experience with him very early into move in, he refused to help me with packages, saying the office wasn't responsible for them. Later, I found out from Samantha that they could indeed help when she helped me retrieve a package from the lock box. I tried to give him the benefit of doubt, but with the package thing and with him gaslighting me at the office, I agree with the others. Apart from the drama, they force you to pay for valet trash service - $30 extra per month, in addition to the $12 they charge for trash. If you don't follow every rule, they will fine you $25 for each valet trash violation. Community dumpsters can get crazy full, and trash can overflow. The trash collectors also skip several days at a time. The hallways are covered in debris and trash water, and although we pay over $100 in conservice a month, no one cleans it. My neighbor was sweeping the hallway the other day, muttering, "we pay them for what." When we moved in, we had lots of problems with the apartment. The dishwasher wasn't hooked in, the shelves in the kitchen cabinet were not put in, and one of the shelves in the closet was (and still is) not adhered to the wall properly. The dust on the top of the kitchen cabinets weren't dusted before being coated over with paint. All the A/C were coated with dust when we moved in as well. Maintenance would sometimes take 3 months unless you called the office directly. Security has yanked really hard on the doors of my husband's van and tried to break in and tow his registered vehicle away, just because they thought it looked sketchy. The apartment lied that the van was covered with newspaper to make it sound more sketchy. The trails next to the apartment were so dark at night that I felt super unsafe walking my dog for his last bathroom break before bed. I counted, and about half the lights were off for over half a year. They only fixed it after I initially posted this review. Not sure if that's coincidence. I really can't go over everything, but I'm posting pictures and videos. All, but one, of the other residents I've talked to dislike this place, so I know I'm not the only one. read more

I would advise EVERY resident look closely at your appliances for health code violations. Over the last several weeks, I've had maintenance in and out of my home to replace a dishwasher. The first 2 replacements were seriously a health hazard (see pictures). It's actually pretty unreal that anyone would feel okay putting these in someone's home. THREE dishwashers and several weeks later, I finally got a clean one but guess what!? It doesn't work properly. This has been exhausting, to say the least. Also, I think it's cute that management pretends to care by posting a "reach out to us comment" on reviews when I've literally been emailing, calling, and popping into the office countless times a week to get this resolved. All that has happened is they continue to waste our time by installing moldy replacements that are a clear health hazard. Each maintenance request takes a few times for them to finally get it right (not tightening hoses under sink causing a good amount of leaking multiple times, not turning our hot water back on, etc.) Even that aside, it should not take someone having to post a negative review to get things taken care of in their home. Don't be fooled, they absolutely DO NOT care and they will 100% make sure you know that you are an inconvenience to them. read more

There seemed to be a dispatching issue in the beginning, but once Rafael came to assess the situation he went into action. The elevators are constantly having trouble. The temperature is 116 and the mgt expects you to use the stairs for days. They won't answer messages left for them. How the heck am I , or anybody, carry groceries, water, soda etc?? I'm on the 4th floor and I just about passed out . So, on top of all the other problems here, think before you move. You better think! They've ignored me for 4 days now. Very rude woman in office. Apparently, once they get their hooks into you to move here they suddenly develop amnesia. The standard reply is we're sorry for the inconvenience. Won't tell ya when it'll be fixed though. Used to be good here, not anymore. Upkeep is terrible except for leafblowing that goes on every day. They don't pick it up, just blow it on your car. Sad. read more

I called them many times in the year I was there to ask if they could put my packages in my house and other things and they always said yes. Mountain Gate and Mountain Trails is one of the most beautiful Apartment Communities in Las Vegas. I speak from personal experience because I was a tenant there for two years and change, and living here was one of the most wonderful experiences of my life. This place is a clean, ultra-modern community with modern buildings that are well maintained and kept in excellent shape. Not only that, but the location of this community is pure perfection! It is right next to a huge shopping mall where businesses and shops and services are all available in one spot, from Department Stores like Albertsons, to chain and specialty restaurants, gyms, and hair salons are all in one place! But perhaps the most valuable treasure of this this place is the people who work there! The quality of staff who work in the office, as well as technical and maintenance staff who work here are the best! The office staff are pure magic! Samantha, and Evelyn, and the two new staff, the young man and the young lady who recently joined the team; they are an absolute delight to work with. They are professional, and courteous, and attentive, and intelligent, and beautiful inside and out! Throughout my tenure there, they made me feel not only like a friend, but like family! The quality of their customer service is beyond excellent! Every time I visited the office, I did not want to leave! And Allison, the Manager of this Apartment Community, is an angel! I am still trying to figure out what happened to her wings! Unlike some managers elsewhere, who tend to be "high and mighty", looking down on tenants and their staff, Allison is the opposite! We just moved here I must say Samantha has been amazing but that's as far as it goes. There maintenance team is horrible. I am truly disgusted and appalled. Juan and Tyrone looked into my eyes and lied to me straight out. Our water heater still isn't fixed and the black mole is still there. It's been a month literally a month and this issue is still here . For the most part this place is an okay place to live. The apartments look nice inside, the maintenance team is super on top of it and really helpful. Other pros they are relatively close to a lot of stores, I always joke I could never leave my parking lot and have everything I need. A few cons, they won't let you ever keep things on your patio, I agree we want to keep the complex nice but often times I'd have something sitting there for a short few hours and get emailed I need to clean it up. The parking is also terrible most of the time. They should really assign spots for people. There are also some odd residents, I've been cussed out by old people, had homeless people on my porch, and overall just some strange people. I did let the office know about the homeless person attempting to steal something off my porch (caught on my ring) and they literally acted like they didn't care, and didn't even seem to appreciate me letting them know, they also seemed annoyed. Lastly my BIGGEST complaint is being able to get the office on the phone. I call multiple times a day trying to talk to them, and they don't answer. 9 out of 10 times I go to voicemail. When I leave a voicemail it's never returned. I also left my contact information with the office to be called back, never heard back 2 days later, overall just kind of a bummer. All in all, it's an okay place to live, I felt mostly safe, and was rarely bothered by others except for the few times stated above. It's also very quiet. read more

I have rented with these guys going on 4 years and each year the service and value continues to rapidly decline. The property management company and upper management who run it truly could not care less for the residents who live here. They make it very clear that it isn't their home and so they aren't going to go out of their way to make you any more comfortable than they feel is suffice. Recently there have been a very high number of car windows being broken into during the nights and the apartments response is simply that they have a patrol unit that patrols around periodically. I've seen this patrol maybe a total of 3 times in the time that I've lived here. Useless. Finally, let me tell you about Valet Living - you are forced to pay for a trash service that comes to your door to collect your trash on a nightly basis. Sounds pretty great right? Except for the fact that they have a plethora of rules that you won't find out about until the next morning when your trash is still sitting there by your door, or the carelessness of the attendants who will literally drag and drop trash all through the breezeways, the stairwells, the walkways, etc. There is no option to opt out of this $20/month subpar service. I've written the management several times this week about the boisterous noise, including a phone call-had to leave a message, and another email during the day today! I've lived here for awhile and in general, I love it. It's reasonably priced and they're one of the few places with crown molding in the units. This was an important feature to me because I actually have furniture and like a room to look put together and without that feature, it looks off. I live in a 1br/1ba apt. It's a little over 750 sq. feet. I legitimately can not add a single thing to my apartment because it is full. A 4 person dining table, 4 living room chairs, a couch and 2 bookshelves fit just so in the living room / dining room combo. I can't move anything or it will cease to fit. If I wasn't hyper-organized and didn't have controlling interest in Sterilite containers (I wish) there's zero chance that I could fit my stuff in this apartment - and I'm just one person. I don't know how couples live in a one bedroom here. The couple above me has a baby and a huge dog in their one bedroom - I can't imagine how cramped they are. Parking during the day is easy and even most nights. I think most people work at the clubs because around 8 pm it's easy to get a spot. Sunday nights - parking is impossible to find. The only way to pay rent is via electronic check. Your water bill and trash is tacked on and varies each month. Speaking of trash - people clearly use their garages as storage units. When people move, the bins are filled to the pergola with trash. I've seen people empty their garage and throw boxes on top of the pergola. Absurd. There is also a guy running a mattress store out of the 4-7 garage units he's renting - and I'm not okay with it. I've complained to the office too. The pool furniture is looking raggedy, but other than that, the grounds are generally fine. My biggest complaint are the pet owners. It seems as if EVERYONE has a dog or two here - and they're big ones. I hear barking at all hours of the night. Whenever I go to get in/out of my apartment, the dog across the hall barks like crazy. There are constantly people walking their dogs but they don't pick up after them and it is starting to stink like dog urine by the stairways that are flanked by bushes. Not cool. Apart from the barking, it is generally quiet. I only hear my upstairs neighbors when they vacuum. I've only heard my next door neighbors once when they were arguing in their bedroom. One last thing - I don't know what the tubs are made of but they're impossible to clean. They practically absorb dirt. Bathroom cleaner and CLR won't even clean the marks off the tub. The only thing I can get to work is Dr. Bronner's soap and it's not cheap. read more

We've had no elevator in this bldg for almost 2 weeks. I live on the 4th floor and I can't get my deliveries, it is Christmas time. You'll find they don't give a rats behind either. Leasing agents are rude and so not helpful. Their job is just to get you to sign a lease then your forgotten. I've lived here 7 years and it's been very stressful at times. They walk around looking at your balcony and then tell you can't have a sunshade. It's absurd but hey, we're dealing with morons.AND furthermore, oh God I could go on and on...You'll notice that all the good reviews are from people just moving in praising the helpful wonderful staff...then you move on to the residents who have lived here and see alittle different take on it. Lots of complaints...fire alarms that go off for no good reason...it took years to fix that one. Elevator constantly broken, right now a UPS driver is stuck in the elevator. Don't say you weren't warned....they don't even power wash anything anymore, gross stains all over steps. Why do I stay you ask...strictly monetary. The office management is terrible, they're there to harass you when your credit card didn't go through but not there when you have a question about something not working. Things you have to look forward to when moving into mountain gate (and these are just things I witnessed) A. Fire alarms going off at all hours of the night (yes even during the wee hours of the morning) 2. Men chasing women with rocks (this was a super fun incident) 3. Albertsons carts all over the complex 4. Amenities closed/not working. 5. You better not have a car because even at the astronomical prices they charge you will not have a assigned parking space. 6. Rent constantly being raised because ya know fluctuation but no improvements being made. 7. Strong Marijuana smell throughout the hallways. 8. Need an extra two hours to move out? I hate to be the one to need to update a review as I'd left, but it wouldn't be fair to anyone who was interested in what they would expect here. Management teams have changed over the years, it's declined. Communication is lax, the manager is never available, and they've forced valet trash on the residents. Which is fine for those who don't mind an additional $20 on their bill and having all the pathways up to their doors drizzled with God knows what that oozes from some trash bags and the smell 4 days a week is horrendous and concentrated in the elevator where you dare not touch anything for fear of catching some flesh eating bacteria from a surface. I survived 4 years of the fire Alarm going off at all manner of the night some nights for hours at a time and then once they decided to fix it a sprinkler line burst and floods my apartment. I took this all in stride until the hellish rent hikes. From 2021-2023 I've experienced an increase of base costs ( not including utilities ) of more than $600. That's a 49.5% increase in 3 years!!!! I moved into a non renovated apartment home with cabinets that looked as though a starving person had tried to eat the edges, and no other improvements have been undertaken in the apartment. Even when the apartment flooded the carpet was not replaced. Only the padding. I was fine with this because I've had some experience with floods before and was able to shop vac most of the water up which insured I had no mold or mildew propagating in the moisture. This also saved the tenants below a great deal of hassle as well. I mention this as i feel strongly the outrageous increases in rent where to much. I requested a meeting with the manager to discuss the renewal increase, when I got the most recent renewal offer, but was either outright dismissed or ignored. There where many miscommunications between office staff and myself because they don't always use the same method to contact you. I finally asked they only call and email to keep it simple, but because there was a delay brought on by my wanting to talk about the renewal option ( most especially because rental prices every where are dropping because of the shift in the market ) the rate was increased and i was slapped with an ultimatum of just sign or get out. Not verbatim but the annoyance and irritation of having to even communicate with me was vividly inferred from the text other email. This wasn't just property management no this email came from their corporate manager, and the sheer and utter lack of professionalism and customer service was beyond appalling. I'm still uncertain as to the future of my tenancy at this point but i can with a clear conscience say if you're looking for a great place to make your home look elsewhere. Somewhere less hostile that isn't supercharged with venom towards good paying residents. read more

We have lived here for not even 3 weeks and put in between 20-30 maintenance/cleaning/repair requests which we had to continually keep on them about until the whole maintenance team showed up one afternoon and did all they could followed by the cleaning crew who should have done a much better job before we moved in seeing as we moved in during a pandemic. The maintenance team left some equipment saying they'd be back the next day to replace the window screen and a piece in the fridge. Never showed. We left for a week to see family and put in the remaining requests. The whole week they still never came back or said anything was ordered that needed to be replaced. NOTHING. 2 days after moving in, the elevator was out of order for 2 days. One of the only reasons we picked a 4th floor and to have nobody above us. We got back from our trip and the elevator is out AGAIN. Fire alarms go off randomly though thankfully we haven't experienced in the middle of the night yet like others have. Apartments are dated and fairly cheaply done. Several pieces of ceiling missing in the hallways outside apartments. Cabinets are absolutely crap. We couldn't see it before moving in as we had to apartment hunt from across the country before moving back to Vegas. I have emails and calls out to property managers and everyone possible. Hopeful they do something but right now, absolutely terrible and 0 communication. It feels like they can't wait to take your money and get you here and call and email to get it done but once you're here, they could care less. Edit 7/6/20: after being here almost 3 weeks, our fobs for pool, package pickup room, etc. STILL do not work and Randy in the office says the system to program them is down. Elevator is out AGAIN because someone smashed the panel and the fire extinguisher doors on the 3rd floor. We still have outstanding maintenance requests and non-functioning blinds. Have made SEVERAL attempts to reach Tiffani the "property manager" who has commented on every other review but still can't seem to get in touch with us. Nothing works apparently and they do nothing. Save your sanity, time and money and DO NOT RENT HERE. Late evening 7/6: Tiffani finally got in touch with us and is in communication with corporate to hopefully reach a resolution yet still ongoing issues persist. Fobs to community spaces were never reordered or activated, elevator issues persist, still waiting on the last couple maintenance requests. Kind of a lost hope by now. Shouldn't take this much time and energy. 7/16: Already a new property manager instead of Tiffani. And if you happen to end up talking to this place and happen to talk to Randy in the office, expect to not get the truth. Pretty much from anyone but avoid the headache here. Not even enough time in the day to write how insane it has become the last 2 weeks. Fire alarms went off several times yesterday. Neighbors said has been going on for 3+ years. Elevator finally got fixed after 2 weeks. I'm sure will be inoperable again soon. Tools and equipment left plugged in across the hallway outside of an apartment. Additionally the list of breeds of dogs not allowed doesn't matter. Several pit bull type dogs on property and some with shock collars. They don't adhere to their own rules ever or apparently general safety standards either. See pics. Several residents have looked at a neighboring apartment complex recently. Would be great to see a huge mass exodus. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AND ESPECIALLY BUILDING 3!!!!!! read more

I had to delete my other review and write a new one because of my recent interaction with Allison, the new property manager. I had initially written a less-than-stellar review of the apartment complex because my building has been having A LOT of issues with a faulty/overly sensitive fire alarm system. I was frustrated because I thought my emails were going unanswered (I was told to write an email instead of coming into the office again), but Allison called me just now and we realized that my email was going into the junk folder! Make sure if you have an issue first stop by and let the leasing office know you'd like to talk with the Allison! If she's not there, give them your email so Allison can make sure she gets it. I'm hoping their IT people can get her email's junk filter to be a little less sensitive lol. I felt like Allison was very friendly and understanding. She gave me a clear explanation of what was going on and apologized for the poor management of her predecessor. I'm happy she's taking over! Now onto why I like living here!! 1. Valet Trash - I had this service with a different Apartment Complex through Warmington Communities. I was really happy this complex invests in this service. It allows for someone to come and collect your trash so you don't have to bring it down yourself! 2. Shipt - I don't know if it's still offered to new leasees, but Pinnacle gives you a year free of Shipt which is a grocery delivery service. Especially during the pandemic, this was really helpful! 3. Package Room - Pinnacle uses Luxor, which is a package room system similar to Amazon's package pick-up system. It's an automated locker that keeps your package safe (there's even a temperature-controlled locker for meal-service kits!). 4. The location is great. There's an Alberstons right next to us that you literally can walk to, as well as a Ross, and a new Planet Fitness location coming up! I just really hope rent prices won't spike because of this!!! 5. The leasing office is very friendly. I'm sad to hear that Kristina is gone, but the others whom I've met are still just as friendly. 6. The pool is great, kind of small, but the area around it to lounge is spacious and perfect for needing social distancing right now. I believe that we can also use the Mountain Trails' pool as well (I'm in the Mountain Gate apartments). The exercise room has all the basic equipment you'd expect, and it gets the job done. You can currently use the amenities if you follow mask-wearing and social distancing. I just don't bother right now because I'm extra cautious but it is available!! 7. I live in a one-bedroom and it is really, really perfect for me. The only thing that is kind of wear is that closet is in the bathroom and not the bedroom? It's not a big deal once you get used to it. lol. The only reason I'm at four stars is that Allison did say they are still working on the fire alarm issue, but she clarified that they are in close contact with the proper agencies to get it fixed and once they are given the clear they will send out a formal blast to everyone! Once everything is fixed, I'm sure I'll get on here to give this place five stars. read more

Obviously you can see its been about a month our elevator in building 10 had gone down again and had been "repaired".... And low and behold... ITS DOWN AGAIN. One month. ONE!! And its broken AGAIN. Putting a bandage over the core issue is doing nothing but affecting the people living here who pay a ridiculous amount in rent! Its over 115 degrees outside and the last thing i want to do is hike up a bunch of stairs after a long day of work. This is CRRRRAAAAZZZZYYYYY and they do NOTHING to compensate us for this. Please do not move here, you will regret it I promise. You all deserve better, and so do we. I cant wait to get out of here. I use to love these apartments but please please dont waste your money. I will keep updating every time it goes down so you all can see how annoying this is! DO BETTER! read more

I really wanted to love living here but this complex is just a complete disaster. We recently moved here from out of state and this complex has made our transition miserable. We've only been living here for a month but it has been nothing but disappointments and headaches. The apartment we moved in was "fully renovated", except the washer and dryer which was probably from the early 2000s if not before that. The wiring of our kitchen was never finished, there was saw dust and dirt inside all cabinets, including our dryer. The toilet seat is completely banged up and was clearly never replaced. The garbage disposal did not work, either did some of our light switches, because it was never wired properly? Just curious about how they managed not to notice any of this during the final walk trough. The washer has damaged our linens and clothing, couple of hundreds dollars worth of damage. It was a full time job to get the washer replaced, I sat home for an entire day waiting on maintenance to come by and switch it out, but around 5:30PM I finally sent an email to the office that no one has came by, even though they were supposed to come early afternoon. I immedietly received a call that they are on their way right now. When maintenance showed up they had absolutely no idea why they were there, what are they supposed to do, or what is wrong with the washer. When we explained the washer needs to be switched out, they brought in a machine that was broken lol. It had mold inside the lid, dirt and hopefully animal and not human body hair inside the washer, dirt inside the dryer and inside the door. Also, the lid was broken and was making a loud, horrible noise. Why would you bring something like that in to anybody's apartment? Then after going back and forth, they decided we get a new washer and dryer, very generous. The fact that I pretty muched begged for it in a "brand new" apartment, is just comical. I wasn't able to do laundry for a week, so I had to take our clothes to the dry cleaners twice, time and money again, on top of the million fees you pay in addition to your rent. Besides the time, money, and inconvenience, there's the dirt you have to clean up after each time maintenance came by. Never heard from an office manager once. Moving on, the hallways have animal feces, cat litter, old receipts, ashes from cigarettes (in a non smoking environment), spit (gross), and other garbage all over. A pile of dog poop has been sitting in our hallway for the last MONTH, since the day we moved in. They claim that they clean the hallways but evidently no one does. When I mentioned this 2 weeks ago, I was assured they will make sure that maintinance makes their rounds in our building. The garbage and dog poop, and some more, are still there. Lovely sight. The elevator constantly smells like cigarettes, including ashes on the floor INSIDE the elevator, sometimes accompanied by dog pee or spilled drinks. My hallway reeks from marijuana, and people are smoking on their balconies, so when you walk by it smells like you're walking through a casino. Again, Mountain Gate claims that they are a smoke free environment, they make this clear in the lease as well. People unplug their fire alarms so e-mails are constantly sent out about it, and that they will be checking the apartments to find out who proceeded to do this. Love this. For the price they are charging us for a 1/1 and the way they sold us on it, it should be considered as high-end living, but oh man this is everything but a nice, clean, or high-end apartment complex. The communication between management and maintenance is non-existent. Very nice, but clueless. I came across one of the girls from the leasing office the other day in the hallway, it was evident she knows who I am due to facial expressions that were made. Extremely unprofessional and rude. I am writing this review, because I truly been through hell the last month and don't want anyone else to have to deal with this, it's just not OK. They might "apologize", but no one really tries to make this right. Again, I have not once heard from an office manager. If you complain about VALID concerns, they will make you feel like a burden. You will get the run arounds, apologies, and a waste of your time, until something might be finally done. When you look at their pricing, I PROMISE YOU, Las Vegas has so much better to offer for the same or less pricing. We toured other complexes we liked just as much if not more, we let the initial sweet costumer service and the location lure us into this lease. If you're looking for a clean and quiet environment, or somewhere where you actually get your moneys worth, where they hold up their end, since you are the tenant who pretty much pays their paycheck, this is not the place. read more

First off: if you're planning to move here, ASK FOR SAMANTHA! She was awesome in helping me move in on such a short notice. I moved to Mountain Trails back in January. I accepted a 3 month internship in Vegas before the whole COVID situation and was looking for a place to stay short term. I spent an entire week checking out apartment complexes all over Vegas and no one, I repeat NO ONE, was willing to work with me on a short term lease. There were a few places that would allow a short term lease but they wanted to charge me double and were in pretty bad shape. Not only did Mountain Trails work with my budget, they are in a nice area of town. Being that I was moving here on my own, safety was my number one concern. As soon as Samantha in the front office took me on a tour of the complex, I knew I was home. Sure, they've got a few things to fix here and there, but what complex doesn't? For this being my first apartment, I couldn't have asked for a better place. Unfortunately, due to being laid off, I am forced to move back home for a while but I hope to move to Vegas again soon. They were completely understanding and made the move out process very simple. I hope to call this place home again soon! read more

My Partner and I were dealing with a previous apartment issue and when walking into mountains and gate they assured us that we were in great hands. They are extremely beautiful appartements, with updated amenities and the best part is a grocery store is just minutes away. Evelyn and Sam helped us feel confident and worry free about our move!!
