Someone left their trash SEVERAL days ago and it's not been thrown away- this is at the landing at level 3 at building 5.

*sigh* here we go again. Things have gotten worse 1. Had an Amazon package stolen from outside my front door. Contacted the front office and was told to just specify in my delivery instructions to deliver it to the office or lockers (I already have my instructions set to that). Then was told "There's nothing we can do, you can contact Metro." I understand porch pirates are a problem even in nice areas, but this on top of all the other crap is really infuriating. 2. Constantly dirty surroundings, CONSTANT. The stairs and hallways always smell like dog poop/urine. The elevator often has mysterious sticky spills and stains on the floor and occasionally will be cleaned but usually after many days of it looking and smelling like a dirty bathroom. People let their dogs poop everywhere, and sure office staff may act like they care when you contact them to tell them the rocks in front of your assigned parking (that you pay an extra $25 a month for) are so stinky from dog poop that it makes you want to hurl, but yet nothing is being done. 3. Terrible phone reception! Why are we paying $2k+ and we can't make successful phone calls in our homes because the people we call cannot hear us?! I have contacted my carrier, I've changed devices, and interestingly, I STILL have the problem, and only in my unit and not when I'm out and about in other areas of town. Safe to say it's not my phone or carrier that is the problem. Not saying this is something Volare can control because there's a LOT of people packed into this small part of SoHibut thought this was important to note- because if you really need to work from home or use your cellphone in your unit- you probably need to get a lined connection like we're in the early 2000s. *sigh* okay, rant over. The few nice things about this place are some of the staff is nice and they do cute lil things for the residents like when Santa Clause came for the holidays, and I do love my unit but, I'm absolutely planning to leave when my lease is up. Dread the moving process but this is ridiculous. Please choose wisely when picking your next home, y'all.

Customer service is extremely poor. I renewed my lease, however, I was assessed a month to month charge. The lease agreement was for $1461, however, the month to month charge was $3,392. The lease doesn't specify how much the month to month amount will be, they just assess any amount they feel like, which $3392 for a one bedroom under 700 sq feet is predatory in my opinion and no where close to market rent. Even though the agreement was signed, I needed to contact the office to manually make the adjustment back down to $1461. Keep in mind, the cable bill and utilities added another $200 to that amount, when I was advised that typical charges for utilities were around $50 a month. Once they manually made the adjustment, which took a few to days to adjust, I made the full payment on the 5th, 1 day late. However, the amount wasn't adjusted until the 3rd and the amount was still incorrect when I viewed it on the 4th. I went back into the system a month later and it reflected a late fee of $242. They insisted that the late fee was based on the month to month amount which was generated on the 1st of the month, however, the system didn't reflect a late fee until after I made my payment. What doesn't make sense is if the late fee was assessed as of the 1st, why didn't it reflect that on the amount due. If the amount due was corrected on the 3rd, why was I assessed a late fee $242, which is the month to month late fee. That means the system wasn't adjusted to reflect the correct amount. There was obvious miscommunication and an error on their part in regards to the amount due, but no courtesy was given to waive any late charges. Esme the branch manager didn't provide any assistance or clarification and she was extremely rude saying that it was a courtesy that they didn't charge me the month to month amount even though the lease was signed. Furthermore, it took them over a month to address not having hot water in my washing machine. Dogs urinate in the hallways and it smells like piss. The place looks nice on the outside since it was recently painted, however, that doesn't reflect on the service you will receive once your a tenant. I don't recommend leasing with them, I will not be renewing next year.

My experience at volare has been horrible from start to finish I'm definitely not renewing my lease . To start off I was not given the right unit/model on my move in day I had toured and picked it out and Kayla was my leasing agent .. Luckily I had extra time to move out my other place , but if i didn't I would have been screwed all for their mistake, I wanted to remain and stay positive even though it was a horrible start of my experience because my move in plans where completely ruined .... . I'm almost done with my 12 month lease and the pet poop/ pee here specially in my building (5) has ALWAYS been an issue . No matter where I look residents/staff don't clean or take care of the building it's smells like pee everywhere all the time it's embarrassing. I'm almost out of this place anyway, but they decided to pick me and charge me 150$ pet fee for not picking up after my pet??? (Because one of their workers saw me ?) When I'm one of the only few people in this building who do clean after their pets , it's the easiest thing in the world to do and I will never understand why some people don't , I even buy my own pet bags because they DO NOT provide them, I burly see any I'm not the type of person to write reviews and I always try to remain positive but this was the last straw for me. I should have said all this when the lady in the office said "oh, why did you decide to not renew with us ?" There you go Horrible experience Don't waste your time here .

Absolutely the most horrible place I've ever lived! Where do I even start....,, office staff are the biggest you know what's ever!!! They change staff & keep gettin worse!! They're so fake friendly & literally after u hand over ur $1,000's of dollars they switch up on u & give u attitude. Every neighbor or sum1 I talked to at the pool all say the same thing, almost no one renews their lease, they just want outta there. They charge for pest control but don't spray outside the Apts, they said they only spray at the pool, so how much $$ do they get every month from residents just to go to a quick spray at the pool, they're pocketing tons of $$. My neighbors in other buildings had horrible roach problems. Pools are always closed, they always are doing work on them but wait every year to do it at summer when they had 3 other whole seasons to do the work. They don't even have a pool co that comes & cleans (probably why the dept of health closes them down) Everything is broke, empty or dirty in the pool bathrooms, I've been several times & there's no t.p. I'm so happy I'm outta there!!!!!!!

2/17/2026 UPDATE: We are getting ready to move out of state…read moreand wanted to share an update as we first moved in in 2022. PROS and WINS: -Chyla and Courtney have been here since we moved in and have ALWAYS been helpful. They're always quick to respond and do everything within their power to address issues and needs that come up. -Albert (one of the maintenance team members), he's SO NICE and always helpful and quick with repairs. There's a newer maintenance team member who does a fantastic job. He's always outside picking up any loose trash and repaired our washer quick. -The grounds were clean when we first moved in and have felt that way the entire time. Of course you have neighbors who don't pick up after their animals. But I honestly think it's gotten better. - The community spaces are always clean. It was so nice having the coffee machine in the community lounge. I really wish they would've replaced that. -They always do monthly community events. They're cute and it's fun to walk over and stop by. -The Bend outdoor shopping center has really developed and fully went up since us moving in! It's so fun to have a coffee shop, food options, workout spaces, UPS, gas, etc all within a 10 minute walk or 3 minute drive. -our carpet was fully replaced prior to our move in and on both renewals we were given a carpet cleaning voucher, so that's fun! Feedback: -I noticed the side gate tends to be opened and not latch closed. This has been reported and the front office has said it's been repaired, but it continues to randomly be unlocked. Truthfully, I just got tired of reporting it was broken. But I fully believe if I would've mentioned again, they would've looked into it. -Would love for the coffee machine to have been replaced. We loved going to the community center to play Monopoly Deal and grab a coffee when there was a machine there. Advice for future tenants: -The walls are THIN and the stairs are hollow. Our layout was in building 14 on the ground level and our master room wall is shared with the stairs. And every single neighbor above us STOMPS so loud. If you are a light sleeper, I would highly suggest not opting for a layout where the master wall is shared with the outside stairs. -Ask for bug spray in the warmer months. We did our own bug spray inside our unit but I believe you can ask for more outside. -Be a good neighbor. Pick up after yourself in the gym and pick up after your animal. Respect the shared community spaces. -Honestly if we were not moving out of state we would've renewed because overall we enjoyed being here! Review from 4/2023: So far, my experience with Solana and the leasing office has been better than I could've I asked for! And we toured 4 places in one day and nothing matched the experience we had here. We literally started our tour day with Jody at Solana, went to tour other places and came back same day to apply. The moment my partner and I walked in we were greeted and made to feel like family. Jody was AMAZING. She had so much energy and passion about her job and it really sold the place. We were pleasantly surprised about the property, i personally think the photos don't do the place justice. Pros: -armed guard at all times -24 hr maintenance ON SITE -fitness center is clean with a variety of equipment -pool looked cleaned and maintained well -we toured the grounds and looked to be maintained well Cons(more so outside of Solona control): -next to freeway (not a deal breaker for us, but you really can hardly tell -area still in development stages. Looks like more food and stores are in the process of being built. BUT there's an ikea nearby!! Overall, we're really excited for our move and have high hopes about this property
