Unfortunately during inspection, we learned this roof was at the end of its 20 year life. Luckily we upgraded our general inspection to spend extra time on the roof & found a lot of issues before things could have gotten much worse. His wonderful crew cleaned the gutters, installed an ice & water shield membrane on the entire roof, a new 30lb underlayment, added cdx plywood to make the slope transition smooth, fixed a ton of random issues and used magnets on our entire property to make sure there werent any leftover nails or screws that would hurt our kids or dogs. I double checked and couldnt find any. This winter will be much cozier with the extra insulation we upgraded to with this new roof. Nothing like having a brand new roof over your head. As I say that, I cant help but feel sad for friends & people in FL as they start the slow process of rebuilding their homes and finding shelter.
