Took in my vacuum to make sure we got the correct sized belt. The service tech not only tried to convince me to have the vacuum serviced for $200, but gave me the wrong sized belt. Thank goodness I did not get the $200 service if they can't even get the belt size correct. Needless to say, I will not be back again. I brought an Oreck vacuum cleaner to Broomfield Vacuum center and they fixed the problem on the spot. They didn't try to upsell me and fixed my problem quickly and at no cost..Apparently the belt on the machine was worn out. The technician fixed the problem...and at no cost...What??? They were unable to fix my sewing machine, then claimed it was my fault by condescendingly claiming I'd developed a loss of "muscle memory" and forgot how to thread it overnight. The machine would work for a day or a few hours after I got it back, then start seizing up again and trying to pull the fabric into the feed dogs. The shop never fixed it. Update: I appreciate that Broomfield refunded my cost. According to my last communication with them, we were at an impasse with them claiming the fault was mine and they were willing to "teach" me how to thread a machine I'd been threading for 25 years. I'm very happy we were able to close this out. read more

I love the Broomfield vacuum center. They are family run and they go out of their way to give you the greatest service. I bought a Riccar vacuum from them a couple of years ago. If it ever need service they do it at no cost (Plus the model I have includes free lifetime belt warranty) I brought my vacuum in today because the cord had gotten snagged and I busted the roller on the bottom, they fixed it quickly, at no cost and even switched the bag out! O have a 8 year old Dyson that has never been serviced. Hell I didn't even know where the filter was on it that needed to be changed/washed every 6 months (well now they recommend 3 months). Anywyas for $49 they gave my baby a tune up, cleaned it all out and washed the filter (that apparently was still in great condition being never touched). Will totally go back again for tune ups on my vacuums! read more

Broomfield Vacuum will be my vacuum store for life. Before finding this place I was a huge fan of Dyson. Broomfield Vac took care of our needs as long as we had that machine. But the day it was time to move on, they talked me into buying a Riccar, a brand I had never heard of. If you think that your Dyson is the best vacuum ever then you have not tried a Riccar. We purchased their low end model upright for less money than a new Dyson and it was amazing the difference it made. But if you are partial to your Dyson and want it replaced, no worries, they will match the price. Great, honest, inexpensive, quality shop here and customer service second to none. read more

I took my 5 year old Kenmore cannister vacuum here b/c it was making a loud noise while vacuuming. The owner immediately found a filter I didn't know about and it hadn't been changed in five years. I got the standard service, my vacuum looks great, runs quieter and has better suction. Well worth $60 every other year. read more

They did a great job on my Dyson DC 15. Found a bad wiring harness and it cost me less than $40 to fix. Very friendly and helpful

I had need of a new belt for my old vacuum. I couldn't seem to find one in the usual places so I stopped into the vacuum store. The helpful owner looked at what I had brought in then told me it was likely not the belt that I brought that wears out but the other one. He gave me the belt that I needed, no charge, and told me if I needed help installing it to bring in my machine. I installed the belt but found it still wasn't rotating the brushes. I loaded up my vacuum and because of his previous invitation I took it into the shop. He took a few minutes to inspect my installation then made a few adjustments that I had overlooked. Thanks to this nice man as is well. I would definitely go here again and encourage others to visit this shop as well. read more

I brought my vacuum here to be cleaned the first time in 5 years. Sorry if you found some rats and fleas in it. They suggested I get a new filter which was much needed. It only took about 3 days (mostly to order the part) now my vacuum is back and good as new! If it remember correctly it was around $60 which was worth it for the deep cleaning they did to it. Cheaper than buying another vacuum. Now if they will include vacuuming my house for me, that would be a nice touch :) read more

I can't even begin to express my satisfaction with Pete and his wife at this little vacuum shop!!!! I have been going to them for years. I have a Riccar Supralite (which I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!) I have bought a few from Pete now. I clean houses for a living so mine gets used way more than the average person. They are always so helpful, kind, and totally HONEST(I've been to other vacuum shops where all they want to do is sell you a new one and not fix your current one, so they lie and say it can't be fixed). They aren't pushy in any way. I just brought my vacuum in cause it needed a new power cord (among a few other things). Pete fixed that in a very timely manner, and even cleaned up my Vacky!! It looks so much better than when I had dropped it off. He always goes above and beyond the expected service!! And best of all he has the most reasonable prices around!!! My treasured Dyson DC17 suddenly wouldn't stay on. It's 8 years old and only needed one replacement issue. Sooooo, when I was advised of this certified Dyson repair facility, I called and was able to get it there one day, and picked it up the next day. I didn't spend a fortune and had the privilege of becoming a new customer. High level of integrity, professionalism, and personable patience is the hallmark of this wonderful business. Great experience. Dropped my defective Dyson off and got a call the next day that they were able to do a simple fix that didn't cost me a dime. Super fast and friendly. It's the kind of old-school business that I wish I could see more often. I'll definitely be back because of also watching the service that was given to the lady in line in front of me.
